Very good pizza but the lines are long and they move SLOWLY. I think most of the problem is that people are indecisive about what toppings they want (get them all, dammit, they're FREE!). I don't mind waiting 15-20 minutes for a pizza but not standing in line doing so. Mod Pizza is an OK pizza place to me for a couple reasons. One is that the crust is a bit chewy, leaving the taste of the pizza nothing extraordinary. The other is that if you're only doing one or two toppings, they are a bit stingy with them. Perhaps it's best to take advantage of their limitless topping rule, or maybe you can just ask for more. Either way, while this place is fun, a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, my rating is based mainly on the over all taste of the pizza. Pros are the speed at which you get your pizza and the price is pretty reasonable. read more

I have gone to this location twice and have been very happy with both the service I received and the pizza quality. The pizza prices are definitely fair (especially if you pile on the toppings); the prices for the "no name cakes" (ding dongs) and the glass bottle beverages seem a bit steep to me though. I heard good things about MOD pizza so decided to try it out. No option for a large pizza for a family but good concept for small individual size pizza. I bought 2 individual size pizzas. You get to stand there and pick out your toppings so I like this feature. However, the pizza builder was very skimpy on the toppings from the beginning with the red sauce to all other toppings. First up was pepperoni...not even enough of this topping to get 1 piece of pepperoni on each slice. Same holds true for any other topping requested. Geez even the cheese topping was meager. What a disappointment. There are better options to purchase pizza in Bend with much better results. Sorry MOD it's a no go for us. read more

First of all I want to say I really liked the first three times I've went here..... oh yeah I also enjoy pizza! My girlfriend likes pizzas. Being able to put what ever we want in a pizza is godly. BUT!!!!!! The girl that's heavy set and has some prison tattoo near her eye ruined mod pizza. The past few weeks I've talked so highly about how fast friendly and just amazing this place is. I've been telling everyone to come here instead of some other place for pizza. Now I have to go back to work telling everyone I lied and here's why. We ordered online and it says they got out order and my money went through. Sweet that's what happened the other three times. We go in and we wait a few min till we can talk to someone. This lady was super confused to what we were talking about and started to ring up some new order. My girlfriend was like oh no sorry we already placed an order. She couldn't find it. Fine not a big deal. I just got a new phone so I stepped to the side and we tried to figure out what happened cause they did take our money out. we weren't rude and we even stepped off to the side so other people could go order or pay. I work in retail so I know how it is. So the most amazing person ever came up and said something along the lines of who knows what happened etc write down what u want and we will make it for u. Idk who this Michelle( sorry if miss spelled) is but this person is the reason mod pizza gets 2 stars! She is funny, nice, and respectful...everything u need and want in customer service :) So the girl that dropped it down in stars was rude, mean, and not showing any signs in customer service. While we waited we asked her if we could grab some drinks( my debit card and ID were out) after like 5 min of waiting at the counter and being ignored. The lady with the killed someone in prison tattoo was like yeah or something but still didn't ask us what we wanted to PAY FOR..... so we waited more minutes then my girlfriend was like can we please order some drinks.. same result.... once our pizzas were about to come out THEN she asked us what drinks we wanted.... I made sure to get my girlfriend the lemonade she wanted but said that was it. The mean lady said oh you wanted a beer? I said yeah I was wanting one while I waited... GUESS WHAT SHE SAID!!!!!? "At least you get free pizzas!" I instantly walked to my girlfriend and told her I was so fucking pissed off! Hell I've even told my parents how great the place is but now since this fucking person, ive told them about it and now they don't even want to go. Papa Murphys is perfect the way it is. Never had one bad experience with them in like 10+ years. This woman pissed me off so much to say I didn't pay and only wanted free pizza just ruined it for me, not to mention not ringing us up for drinks while we waited. I paid for the pizzas for my girlfriend and I...and I'm just super upset with how I was treated by her. I've never been treated this way before. Never. And it makes me so upset. Kinda just ruined our date night. Anywho.... sorry for the rant but I hope the owners see this and give her some customer service training or something. On a end note Michelle seriously is amazing! The few times I've gone she has always made sure I left happy, even this time I left with some kind of positive! She rocks the house! This was my 2nd attempt to online order take out from this establishment, and each time, they'd failed to even start preparing the order when I arrived at the time I scheduled to pick up. They should not facilitate online take out orders because they really don't care about them (or at least don't care about your time, as evidenced by their system of prioritizing sit down customer orders). A friend recommended Mod Pizza and I knew the moment I walked in the pizza was going to be good. 1st great set-up and atmosphere inside, 2nd fresh ingredients to choose from that you can see and 3rd they had beer (of course they did its Bend). My boyfriend and I each ordered a byo Mod, I felt like a kid again, pick and choose ingredients ( as many as you want) sauces, and even dipping sauces. Loved it! The gluten free crust is tasty & fast. I really like the concept of one price for each size regardless of the number of toppings selected. They have a ton of toppings some of which are really unique like roasted cauliflower. I had a gluten free pizza with a good glass of red wine for a little over $14.
