It's been a while since I wanted to try Mochinut donuts. We went in June 2022 and was very impressed with how good the donuts tasted. The flavors we ordered from what they had available that week was a mango, rasberry funnel cake, and churro. They were all really good! This was around 4pm and they tasted delicious and were very soft. I ordered the brown sugar drink with boba and enjoyed this drink. Great donut spot, worth the try. read more

I absolutely adore this little place! Their donuts are delicious, flavorful, not overly sweet, and amazingly also pretty low calorie! The decorations are really cute and both the building and food is very photogenic. They also serve specialty corndogs and boba, both of which I have only tried once but enjoyed. Be aware, their corndogs are pretty large so take that into consideration when ordering! (My SO and I over-ordered by accident) read more

The Donuts are wonderful. They made them fresh as we waited. Yum! Nice store friendly staff read more

The food is actually really good! Expensive but tasty! The service is lacking for sure! The guy that has taken my order both times seems very annoyed to have to go back behind the register to take orders as he has to stop talking to his friends. Not even a thank you or a single smile... read more

Great food and ambiance!! Got to try their new soft serve: Ube and Melon mix, and it's so pretty. Tasted just right for my sweet tooth and I'm getting their other menu item next time!! read more

Overall really great customer service! Quick and fast and made everything really easy to order!!

Amazing boba and corn dogs, cute environment too. Service was amazing as well, the staff was very friendly

Okay food. Pretty mid not gonna lie, the only thing that caught my attention was the place and how nice the inside was. Food was pretty basic, boba was lowkey trash and the donuts were dry. I think the service and scenery inside made it a 4 star experience. The food though was a 2.5 or 3. read more

This is the 2nd time I have been in and they do not have donuts made. They tell me a few minutes and then 20 minutes later I am still waiting. Seriously bad service here. Other places I go it is in and out no problem. read more

I've never had anything quite like this mochi donut. It's so soft and sticky and fluffy. When we walked in we were a bit confused because there's seemingly a corn dog place, a mochi donut place, and a drink place all under one roof. They're all cool and can go together and can probably satisfy all kinds of moods but it's a little confusing at first. There was nothing on the counters behind the class but apparently they had all 12 of their mochi donut flavors. There was one of each to showcase what they look like. We ordered the chocolate mint, the mango, and the coffee. We did not realize they were gonna go back and make these donuts super fresh. It took a good while to make, maybe about 30 minutes wait. The chocolate mint was a bit too minty for my taste. The mango I think was surprisingly the best because it was a nice subtle flavor and you got to appreciate the texture of the mochi donut more. And the coffee was the worst, it tasted like someone threw the used coffee grounds on top, it tasted very burnt. But they're gorgeous and come in cute boxes and would make a great present although I don't know how much their freshness and unique texture last. It was a very light snack and 3 donuts were perfect for just me and my wife. We got it after eating at pho bac across the street so it was a nice contrast to all the salty pho. It's a bit pricy, about $3 per donut, but it's worth trying it at least once (I definitely want to come back to try other flavors), and it would make a great gift. read more

Went there cause all other places were closed. First off, I couldn't understand the two people talking. They talked really low. I ordered a fresh milk brown sugar boba and got what tasted just like milk with caramel, no brown sugar. I asked for a large and didn't get a large. Asked for cheese foam, and didn't get it. Basically paid for just milk, and pearls. Never going again! Horrible service. read more

Really like this place. My only complaint is that I would like the option to buy just one donut. They don't keep well, and I can't eat three quickly enough before they go bad. read more

They require you by a minimum of three donuts for $9 or a dozen for $30. I also asked for a corn dog with cheddar cheese. I took it to go and went to my car and found it was just a fried mozzarella stick. I took the mozzarella stick back in and handed it to them, did not ask for a refund, very disappointing. I guess I'll never taste a Mochinut. read more

Usually I love going to Mochi-nut and their donuts are really good. We ended up at this location and had no idea it was their soft opening. Things were a little difficult when ordering because you had to make two separate transactions if you happened to order a drink which dragged out the line. The real issue came is when my girlfriends drink came with boba when we explicitly asked to have our drink without it. She asked if it could be remade and the gentlemen at the counter just said "Too bad." After she came back to me I went back up to the counter to ask if it could get remade and the same gentlemen just stared at me blankly not wanting to do anything. Eventually a different worker offered to remake it but at that point we had to leave due to having a reservation someone else. Overall things could be expedited by having the menu listed so people could see it while waiting in line instead of having the full selection solely at the front. Donuts 10/10 though. read more

Mochinut - MORE THAN JUST A DONUT - Hot Dogs Near Me - Richardson, Texas

I really wanted to like this place. It has a cute atmosphere but the service is very very slow and the food wasn't worth the wait. I will give them credit- it was busy right after we came in so obviously there's some wiggle room but I ordered two delights and a boba drink, it took almost 30 minutes for it all to come out. After 25 min of waiting I went up to check because other people had gotten their stuff who were standing behind in line, and they had totally forgotten to make the drink, only took about 3 to actually make the drink... Again, it was busy- I know it happens but I was not the only one who had their order forgotten, In the span of those 30 minutes I watched it happen three separate times. Anyways I gave 3 stars because they are trying and it's worth checking out if you've never had a mochi donut but better systems need to be put in place to support the amount of business they get. read more

Very good place, nice in the inside, it makes sense the donuts is in packs of 3, honestly I just come for the boba coffee, sometimes they out of it which it's crazy to me, because I show up around 6 , I'm not surprised it is really good and they also might be out of the package bottles. Overall nice. read more

I went to this location when I visited Texas, and oh boy, the drinks and food exceeded my expectations! Hands down the best mochi donut. Perfect texture and taste! read more

I really enjoyed the 3 donuts I ordered, the service was good and atmosphere was clean.

Minimum 3 donuts for $9, and they ran out of can tea. Probably wouldn't come back but worth a try.

10/10 customer service, the matcha ice cream is amazing, always an amazing place to visit when I come to Dallas!

Poor customer service. No smiles or help. Was standing there looking at the menu and employees stared at me awkwardly. Immediately sat down and were on their phones and one employee had headphones on. Seemed like a group of friends hanging out more than employees or an establishment. Donuts are gas tho read more

Really good boba! Recommend the coffee and they change up the mochi donut flavors weekly!

Very nice mochi donuts. Much better value and better product than Fat Straws. The latter's standards have dropped and their donuts shrunk in size. read more

i have eaten here so much in the last two weeks since i live so close. i come for the corn dogs even though i don't even get a hot dog in mine- i just get what is essentially a giant mozzarella stick. but it's just so good. i even went back 2 nights in a row last week because.. i just couldn't help myself. the donuts are marvelous, and often so fresh theyve still got the melted toppings on them. boba is also great- tapioca is perfectly boiled. overall just amazing. read more

The food is great. They are working through some issues during the soft opening periods. It is taking a while to get orders out - they are not equipped yet flow-wise to handle rushes. The tables were a bit dirty and the chairs built to collect crumbs. However don't let these things keep you from going to get the hotdogs and a mochinut! read more

absolutely love this place!! the staff is welcoming and the hotdogs(corndogs) are fantastic !!!! absolutely a 10/10

Was my first time having a donut like this and it was great. The hot dog was very good as well. It is quite expensive, though. That is the only downfall. 3 donuts and 2 hot dogs was $24. read more

the cashier today around 3:00 was so mean and was rushing me so bad that he made me do two transactions for some reason? i wanted soft serve and was getting a drink for a friend so when i was told they wouldn't be serving any today i had to stop for a second to figure what i wanted instead. he kept saying " ok that'll be all then? " " is this it" mind you i wasn't even taking that long nor was there more than one person behind me. i ended up getting a coffee. this was when he had rung me up on the second kiosk for some reason. i can only assume he had already pressed the card option on the other kiosk and didn't want to click the back button. i couldn't have been there longer than two minutes guess that was two too many for him. i was charged 8.60$ for a small sized coffee despite me asking for large. .... make it make sense. most likely won't come back despite liking this place previously. the workers are always rude and in a rush. i'll take my business to happy lemon right across the street. much tastier and kinder there read more
