Half dozen - sugar, ube, honey
Sarah C.

I enjoy the texture of mochi donuts in general. However I don't find Mochinut's flavors to be very strong or tasty. It's also $18.50 for a half dozen or $33 for a dozen. Because of that, this is a spot I generally only go to when friends want to. I haven't tried their corn dogs or bubble tea or ice cream. The store interior is bright, but you can tell customers and their kids really wreck this place throughout the day. It could use a deep clean and more frequent sweeping and wipe down.

I'm always in the neighborhood where this place is located. Truth be told, it's not a stop I would make on my own; a friend of mine had us pop in. The wallart was cunt; I live for a cute wall art. However, the place could use a nice deep cleaning, like repainting the walls, etc. I understand we got there 15mins to closing. Still revamp the place. I ordered the recommended key lime and churro.. for end of day donuts, the two were pretty delicious. Maybe I'll stop by earlier in the day to taste a fresher batch.

I love Mochinut, I hope they stay around for a long time. Can't eat that many, but if I could, I would. I like how this place looks, it's clean an colorful, all full of joy. If you haven't tried one yet, I recommend. The Orange cream is my favorite.

We were walking in the area and noticed that this place had some soft serve. The flavors of the day were vanilla and melon. I got a swirl of the soft serve. The melon had a refreshing taste to it and complimented the vanilla pretty well.

Amanda S.

Really nice service, clean store! I got the sparkling lime and mango with half syrup, which was a perfect amount of sweet with tart.

Pleasing to the eye

Most of these new popular dessert places - not only mochi - are sloppy on the inside. Not so much here, but the interior is kinda aesthetically unpleasing. I stopped as there was a parking spot right in front of the eye-catching yellow facade. Service was friendly. I enjoyed the little donuts and if I'm craving a Korean-style hot dog I'll come here.

Ube, Churro, Pistachio
Amanda M.

First time Mochinut at this location, I got their Ube, Churro, Pistachio flavors. The pistachio and churro were my favorite. Not too sweet. The ube with sprinkles was a bit too sweet for me and I didn't really enjoy the hard texture of the sprinkles with the donut. The donut has a nice chewy texture.

This mochinut location offers a variety of donut option for both sweet and savory. I ordered a box of 3 and got ube cream, campfire marshmallow and peach funnel cake. Everything was good ube cream was my favorite, the peach funnel cake was nothing special did not taste the peach tasted more like powdered sugar, and the charred marshmallow was soft and gooey. I enjoyed the mochi donut texture, slightly crunchy on the outside soft and chewy inside and the donut did not have an oily taste to it. I also got a Thai milk tea as well and the boba was hard as if it has been sitting there for a while. I thought it was funny that the staff just eyeball the measurements while making the drink. I liked what I order quick service and cute interior.

Peach cobbler, pumpkin cream, and snickerdoodle

I've been here a few times and I love it. Mochi donuts are my absolute favorite. They switch up their flavors every week ish. I love the chocolate, tiramisu, peach, guava, passionfruit, and pumpkin flavors. The most recent time, I had the pumpkin cream and it was SO GOOOOOD. just like Starbucks pumpkin foam. They are not tooooo sweet and I love the texture. The inside is super cute and fun. There is seating. Parking can be hard at times. The staff is usually very nice.

Lauren L.

OMG the mochi donut is so delicious! the texture is the best- reminds me of a crueller where it's kind of hollow inside. The flavors are inventive- really loved the crème brûlée flavor! and the soft serve was black sesame flavor, so good! will be back!

One dozen, Half dozen, donuts menu

I like their sparkling fruity drinks (I forgot to take a pic of that menu but it changes fairly often) and their rice hotdogs! The inside of the place is also so cute & they have a claw machine!

Ethan C.

The food/ donut was the best so many verities it was hard to chose I really enjoyed the texture of the donuts and many flavors. The service was so sweet they were really nice and very chill. The ambiance was super mellow they had the Beatles and they have a super cool claw machine too.

Lime
Cesar D.

This a great spot with some unique donuts and drinks. We shared the Churro, the lime and the pumpkin flavor. They were light but had a good flavor. They also offer a variety of drinks, I had the mango lemonade. It was very refreshing and had nice chunks of mango. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The interior is nicely decorated. They have ample seating, the interior is clean and bright. We had a good time hanging out and catching up with family it's worth stop every for a pricey donut.

The vibes inside were cozy and spot on and there were lots of people despite it being near closing time. You can choose from a list of donuts which you'd like, but since it was my first time I got one of each type: cinnamon sugar, raw honey and sea salt, brownie batter, bacon maple jam, coconut cream, and mango jam. The cinnamon sugar was my favorite but I'm also a simple gal when it comes to donuts. The donuts are mini and freshly cooked, so we went through these 6 super quickly. For the chai, you can also pick among an assortment but I decided to get the ginger rogers which definitely has a strong ginger kick. If you like ginger, I'd recommend giving it a try. I also made it dirty which cured my coffee withdrawal headache!

The place is really cool on the inside with a sample of every donut on display. Yes in that one photo, they have a donut on the ceiling! Ordering was a snap but deciding was another story. Many looked good but I was on a mission. Maple bars and apple fritters. I have had some real good ones so those are my standard. But how could you pass by a donut called "dirty old bastard"? Well I will start with the bad. The apple fritters have plenty of flavor and size but lacked apple chunks of any quality. 3 at best! Maple bar with bacon. Nearly a 4 but the glazing was way too sweet for a maple bar. Bloedows in Winona,MN, you still are the best followed by Randy's in LA. However, that dirty bastard withe the mix of chocolate, peanut butter and Oreo cookies raised the bar. No pun intended. So why a 4. The place was fun, service great and the originality of the donuts raised the score. A must stop in Portland.

I prefer the truly flavored ones like maple, honeycomb, apple cider (our fav!), and pistachio (my all time personal favorite . The pistachio matcha latte was super sweet and I probably won't be getting that again. If it was watered down and included some ice it would've been great, but it was just a little too thick and sweet for my personal taste and I'm usually a hummingbird person that gravitates towards SWEET sweets. Excellent flavored cake donuts! Very moist. I didn't care for the Cookie Monster or plan glazed as they just lack the OOMPF that the flavors like apple cider bring. I'd knock back a star of if I didn't know to stay away from the basic flavors - although if you're an old school cinnamon sugar cake donut aficionado, try the freakin churro. The bakery case in front of the store is beautifully stocked with fresh pastries, perfect for enjoying with a cup of coffee or tea. However, be advised, there are only two tables in the back of their public space, so it's not particularly inviting space to sit and enjoy your breakfast.
