The food was delicious and fresh since we got it dine in the three hotdogs we got which were half-and-half were super crunchy and delicious a bit greasy, but that's to be expected. The fruity pebble was my first time trying it and seems to be unique to this Mochinut location. Hot Cheeto was delicious as always, and the crunchy rice was a bit hard but yummy. I loved the mint blue milk tea, but sadly the lemonade tasted a bit artificial and did not look ombre like the photo. This location also had a ton of different options for food like croffles , cheesecake, shaved ice, tornado fries, onigiri and more! so overall an amazing pitch in terms of versatility for late night snacks. Parking is street parking - the last few times I had been here (usually late night), I always find parking right in front of the storefront. They are right next to Dessert Cafe with a shared kitchen and at night, you have to pick up yours orders there, as this storefront entrance is closed. Service is decent, as the employees are accommodating to customizations, which I appreciate, but they usually take pretty long with orders, even if you ordered online ahead of time. My first 2 visits were good, but my last 2 visits were not the best. Although, I like that they are opened late night (until midnight), they are ridiculously slow at that hour and everything does not taste as fresh, but on my last visit, everything tasted a bit old. They are serving mochi donuts, Korean style hotdogs and boba tea. The selection of donuts seems to be limited at the moment, but still 6 to choose from. I'm hoping they rotate selections on the daily or expand to a full menu with time. I just went with 3 donuts and a Thai tea boba. The ube churro and blueberry wafer were the winners. Soft, chewy and sweet. I love the airiness of mochi donuts. They could have been fresher, but I'm giving them some slack since they just opened. Came here on Friday afternoon- around 12:18, no one is behind the counter. We place an order at the self serve order screen by 12:23. Automated message says food will be ready in 5-10 mins. Get a text at 12:32 saying order is done. It's been 15 mins since we arrived at the store and still haven't seen a soul. After waiting for 5 mins after the text said our order was ready, we started saying "hello" and on the 5th try of saying "hello, hello, we have an order to pick up", a lady comes out. And then someone else comes out. I don't understand quite why it took 20 mins and yelling loudly 5 times for us to see someone and receive our order, but I guess that's what it takes! Now... we ordered two hot dogs with potatoes. We got one with potatoes, one without. The potato one was really delicious. The special house said was too sweet for my liking. The spicy ketchup though was delicious. We got Mochi donut - they were okay, nice chewiness. But the frosting (for match, Nutella and black sesame) was just okay. Now those are some pricy donuts! I got hooked on this new craze about a year ago and haven't looked back. I love that the donuts are soft and chewy at the same time, and how could you not love exciting flavors like funnel cake and Nutella? The shop has a tiny storefront which is set up for takeout only. The POS system is very responsive, making it extremely easy to purchase these delicious pillows without human interaction. Donut was actually really fresh and yummy. Corn dog was also yummy but was missing sauce as listed so a little dry. Boba was nothing amazing but tasty. They forgot the boba in one of my drinks which was pretty disappointing since that's the main point of the drink and I didn't notice until I had gone home so I just had a flavored milk. The kid working here with the curly hair does not need to be working in a customer facing role. I came here at night and placed an order on their kiosk. I decided to wait in my car and once I received the text that it was ready I walked back and was very surprised to see all the lights off and door locked as if it was closed! I was so confused. I started knocking on the window to see if anyone can hear me when finally this young, curly haired worker passes by and I try to show him my order through the widow from outside. Got the half-half mozzarella hotdog, which we ate quickly. The mozzarella was nicely soft in the inside. The fried potato on the outside was a good crunchy counterpart. The best part of the order. Got the 3 mochinut set: mango (presentation is not great but tastes good), nuttela (more like chocolate, we need more of the hazelnut, pls), and cookies and cream (out, and since ordered online, subbed with nuttela). We ordered a dozen mochinuts, boba drinks, hot chocolate and corn dogs. We were waiting there for a good 30-40 minutes with no other customers there. When someone did come to pick up an online order, he waited for probably 10 minutes to be greeted while the employees were doing who knows what in the back. Found out we couldn't get the hot chocolate we paid for because the hot drink machine was down or "getting cleaned" so I replaced it with a lychee lemonade. It just tasted like a sprite. Reviews about weird customer service and food is pretty accurate. Placed an order on the kiosk inside and they had a sign advising to step out of the store and wait for the text saying it was ready. When I got the text 10 minutes later, it took a literal 15 minutes for somebody to step out to give me my order. A couple walked in while I was waiting and same thing also happened to them and the both of us were confused. I don't care for bad customer service especially if the food was good, but waiting 25 minutes in an empty store for one donut and a hot dog is a bit much, esp when I waited more for someone to come out than the time it took for them to make it. On top of that, the employee seemed annoyed that they had to come out. Additionally, the donut and hotdog was so astronomically mid. The donut was soggy and to my surprise, there was no free condiment station for the hot dog. You have to PAY for condiments and it comes in a small togo one ounce cup you pour over your hot dog. The donuts here are great. My favorite flavor so far is the Churro one. They have a ton of different flavors to choose from also that change. I'm not a fan of the lemonades. They taste more like carbonated water or sparking water with flavors. The service is okay, the two times I've went the staff took a long time to come from the back to the front.
