This is just a food stand, near currently Pollo Campero. I ate at iSushi perhaps 2 or 3 times. One of the noteworthy times was on Saturday, January 12, 2019. I had started a Biggest Loser challenge at my work and was trying to lose weight. I got sushi rolls, which was fairly healthy, not a whole lot of food, which a bit of a negative as I was hungry not that long later. iSushi is decent, but nothing to write home about. I've had worse sushi like one time a year earlier in January 2018, I got Safeway grocery store sushi. Now that sushi was weak! My girlfriend at that time was significantly late, like an hour late. We were going to go to a sit-down restaurant in Wheaton before a game night at apartments above the Safeway, but because she was so dang late, we grabbed sushi quickly from Safeway. Interesting side note about this day at Wheaton Mall: On this particular Saturday, I had a 2nd (& last) date with this woman for the movie at AMC Wheaton called On the Basis of Sex about Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg's early days in law school trying to get into law, which was almost unheard of when she started in 1956. At the end of the movie, there were captions about Ginsberg in her real life with pictures. When seeing the real life facts, my date said I didn't realize this a true story. I was surprised she was thinking Ruth Bader Ginsberg was some nice fictional story. In summary, staff at iSushi was nice. It is not a place I'd rush back to, but it's not a bad option in the food court.

My favorite place that made such a roll closed and I've been searching for something similar for years. I'm so glad I came across iSushi's "Green Dragon" roll which has shrimp tempura, cream cheese and avocado on top. Such a great roll and I watched them make it fresh right in front of me! Mall sushi doesn't sound appealing, but I recommend giving this place a try!

It came kind of fajita style on a sizzling platter with red and green peppers, broccoli and a little bit of onion with a generous portion of chicken breast sliced on top with a good sauce and sesame seeds. It was accompanied by white rice. Large enough portion that she has lunch for tomorrow! Diner #3 ordered an eel roll and a few pieces of fat salmon sashimi. She said it was all good. I ordered pad Thai with shrimp. Several large shrimp were delicious and the noodles were very good. I ordered it as mild as possible and there was not a hint of 'hot' spice although it was physically really hot, which I love. I think next time I'd ask for a little heat in it. As I'm writing this I realize I could have asked for some chili oil or something to spice it but I enjoyed it very much. The server was terrific and a few people made sure our drinks were refilled. There is this grocery store called Shaloms Kosher and in it, they have the most heavenly food known to mankind- sushi. they have a store within a store. They call themselves Rolemasters. The workers are extremely nice and recommend the best role for your liking, and the sushi itself is amazing so if you're in the area remember to try them out.
