My wife and I saw a 2013 Audi TTS on their website that we were interested in. So my wife contacted…read morethem and set up a time to see and test drive the car. Drew was our sales associate and was friendly and it felt like we have known him for years! We test drove the car and it looked and handled great, there was a light on the Drew said was probably a low battery because it had been in the show room for over 3 months. We talked it over and purchased the vehicle. By this time it was late Saturday afternoon and we had a 2 hour drive to get back home. We finished our paperwork and decided to stop at a restaurant to grab a bite before our drive home. When we finished the car wouldn't start because the battery was dead! So I called Drew and within 15 minutes he showed up with a new battery! He took the dead battery out and realized Autozone gave him the wrong battery. He apologized and headed off again, this time he drove back to Jabaay and grabbed a battery that was the correct size that looked brand new. He installed the new battery and put the trunk back together. (Yes, I said trunk!) Audi TTS has the battery in the trunk and it's quite the process to install a new battery! He stayed until we fired it up and no engine lights we on! We would recommend this Dealership and especially Drew to anyone looking for a quality used car. It's been about a month and we love our TTS! Thank you Jabaay! And Drew, thank you for service above and beyond! Boyd and Rhonda Minton

Low mileage, body in fantastic shape and I could eat off of the engine. Nice, no pressure salesman who even ran the CarFax for me. I could see that the car had never been in an accident and the maintenance record was fairly complete. Price was right-on and in my mind very good. It's been a pleasure to drive although we do store it over winter.

The scheduling and time wasted is a problem. I setup an hour for a Monday morning visit. This should've been a fast diagnosis, part run, and swap yet someone got the wrong part and after a lot of waiting I had to head back home and come back the next day. Hour one way trip again, and another rather long wait for a basic fix, I really wish they could network their service department across more areas to enhance the consumer experience and avoid wasting time.

I normally do not leave reviews, but after everything my family and businesses have gone through…read moreover the last several months, I feel other customers deserve to know my experience. I purchased a 2024 Dodge Ram 1500 expecting a dependable truck backed by a warranty. Instead, the truck spent months in and out of service at Victory Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Merrillville with ongoing unresolved issues. Throughout this process, I experienced constant delays, uncertainty, poor communication, and repeated trips back and forth to the dealership. Although a rental vehicle was eventually provided for a period of time, the overall situation created major disruption to both my businesses and my family life. What disappointed me most was that after months of repair attempts, I was ultimately informed they would no longer continue repairing the truck or provide transportation assistance, despite the vehicle still being under warranty and not functioning properly. Giving me a nonoperational truck back is so unprofessional, and disrespectful. As a business owner who depends heavily on reliable transportation for real estate, property management, and lawn service operations throughout Northwest Indiana, this situation created major financial hardship, stress, and disruption. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a car/truck dealership I understand repairs can sometimes take time, but communication, accountability, and customer care matter -- especially when someone's livelihood depends on the vehicle. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and unsupported throughout the process. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!!!!

"Maybe you should ask your husband"…read more My husband is 6'6" and often has a hard time finding a car that he can comfortably sit in. As I had a 2018 Nissan Rogue that I loved I thought lets go to Nissan to see what works for us and finally have a car my husband can comfortably sit in. Josh was great at helping us find a car and when I finally decided to come in to buy the car that's when things went south. I had an extremely frustrating and frankly unacceptable experience at South Lake Nissan, thanks entirely to the Financial Manager, Jim Menz. I was ready to purchase a vehicle and made my position crystal clear--I did not want the extended warranty. Despite saying "no" more than 15 TIMES, Jim continued to pressure me, I even asked "Are you saying the only way I will be able to purchase this car is to buy a warranty?" He said, "No I'm not saying that." Okay then I DONT WANT IT! NO IS A COMPLETE SENTENCE. However Jim refused to move forward unless I agreed to buy it - of course at this point I had already paid my deposit. This felt less like a sales conversation and more like coercion. When I continued to stand my ground, the interaction took an even more inappropriate turn. Then Jim said it, "Maybe you should ask your husband" . That comment was not only irrelevant, as I am the one buying and paying for the car, but also incredibly insulting. I am fully capable of making my own financial decisions, and suggesting otherwise in 2025 is unacceptable. Let me be very clear: That comment was completely inappropriate, condescending, and offensive. I am an adult, and fully capable of making my own financial decisions. My spouse's gender or existence had absolutely no relevance to the transaction. The remark came across as dismissive and disrespectful, and it had no place in a professional business setting. High-pressure tactics are bad enough. Being talked down to and patronized while trying to complete a purchase is unacceptable. No customer should have to endure repeated badgering, refusal to proceed with a sale, or personal comments simply because they won't agree to unnecessary add-ons. I ultimately completed the purchase despite this behavior thanks to another Manager Sam who helped make Jim stop pressuring me--but I would never return, and I strongly warn others to be cautious. If South Lake Nissan allows their finance managers to bully customers and make inappropriate remarks, that reflects a serious failure of leadership and accountability. 2 days after buying my car, I noticed thick white exhaust coming from my car that I have driven less than 30 miles on. I then noticed my car was shaking when accelerating and also noticed thick black burnt oil marks on the ground that splattered from my exhaust. At this point I am LIVID, cars are a major financial purchase, and to buy one to then have problems less than 2 days after the purchase was made... As the car was a Kia I ended up going to Kia with my car for repairs. See Kia's reviews if you want to see how that went.

Needless to say, I was a bit shaken and scared of a possibly catastrophic engine failure but Rick walked me through my 100+ diagnostic and was able to get to the root of the problem. Not only was the service quick, but he assured me throughout the process and called to check on any additional services that needed to be completed. This is why I love Toyota, they were committed to keep my 15 year old Prius (Car-E Fisher) in running condition since she still has low miles for a 2009. The online review of any issues is really great!

DO NOT BUY USED CARS HERE!!!!…read more I have been slowly putting money away, just turned 52 years old and have never had a car note in my life and plan to keep it that way. Ran into Nick the salesman who was polite and courteous as all hell and this review should not affect him whatsoever. I see a ad on fb for this 2017 jeep grand Cherokee with 125,000 miles on it, I call nick answers and says cool we'll see you tomorrow. Come in wife takes it for a drive and loves the way it drives. Fill out all the paperwork and pay close to $11,000 all in $100 bills. Have to wait for title to register and plate in Illinois. After a couple days of driving it wife says gary my heat ain't working. It's blowing cold so I grab a jug of coolant and fill it up ok maybe it's low. Week and a half later same thing. Ok now we got a leak or worse. So I scope the water pump and see no moisture around there and fill up coolant for the third time checking all the hoses. Squeezing make sure when under pressure it's not spraying to no avail. Kinda forget about it until 10 more days needs more coolant. Decide to call around and get a diagnosis from a shop. Told bad head gasket but I don't want to believe a company as big as Toyota of Merrillville would sell me a vehicle with a bad head gasket. 2 weeks later (had to make appt) I get into the 2nd shop and they don't repair them but diagnose them in black and white a multi million dollar car company screwed the lil man to make a buck. They can afford to eat something like this, understand I bought as is with no warranty implied but the fact that yall even put this on ur lot at such a high price when it should of gone to auction is absurd! So take note if you got a pos and bring it to this place just realize they gonna rake someone like me over the coals and overcharge them for it without doing any repairs outside a oil change and maybe tire rotation. I wouldn't send my blind sisters ex husband here whom I hate! This place just has a deceptive practice and will be contacting attorney generals office because if they topped off the fluids and didn't see the additives in coolant floating then they put it in there. And now after investing $11,000 in a vehicle now I gotta spend another $3000+ fixing a head gasket and hope the head or pistons aren't warped. This place is PATHETIC!!!! Owner should be ashamed of himself if I had the money id rent a billboard right on hwy stating they sell cars with bad head gaskets I'm sorry this is so long winded but I needed to get it all out and if I can stop even 1 person from being ripped off like I was then it will all be worth it!
