I absolutely loved being able to enjoy the city with ease- zipping around the mall and all the museums. The battery lasts ALL DAY! The seat was comfy and the scooter could pick up some good speed. I fit into elevators and tight corners with no problem. Be aware that it is quite heavy and must be broken down into 4 parts to put it in the car. We had to get an XXL uber every time we drove anywhere. But it moves about the city, on all kinds of terrain, so easily. I will definitely be calling Jorge and getting this the next time I visit.

I bought an EZ FOLD AND GO Black Walnut Walker from LAWSON MEDICAL at 431 North Frederick Avenue…read moreGaithersburg 20877 on 09/28/2019 for $179.95. I also bought a Quad Cane Peeble Green for $54.95. I came home and found out that Walmart, Amazon and FSA store sell the same product for $129.00. Bed Bath and Beyond for $149.00 and you will get a coupon for one-time purchase (20 % off). YOU WILL PAY $120.00 and free shipping. I called the store on 09/30/2019 morning and spoke with the manager. I mentioned that your prices are way too high and I would like to return the product. The product has not been used and is in its original condition. The store Managers response was that their refund policy is to give a store credit only and I had signed a document before making the purchase that I agree to the refund policy. Upon telling the store manager that I will review the business and let potential customers know about your pricing and return policy, the store manager stated that, should I do that it will be a misinformation to their potential customers. Customer reading the review are free to validate the pricing of the product at the businesses I mentioned earlier IN MY REVIEW. Please be advised that the document that the store manager will ask you to sign before you make the purchase is to agree to the return policy of exchange and store credit only. HAVING A CUSTOMER SIGN A DOCUMENT TO AGREE TO A REFUND POLICY OF EXCHANGE AND STORE CREDIT ONLY, PRIOR TO MAKING A PURCHASE IS A BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. CUSTOMERS REVIEW RETURN POLICIES. Refund policies encourage customers to commit to a purchase AND SHOULD COVER FOR greatest customer satisfaction. If you stand by your product and pride yourself on a stellar customer service experience you must have a policy where a customer should be able to get a refund on a product for any reason, should the product be UNUSED and in its ORIGINAL CONDITION. If a customer is not satisfied with their original purchase for any reason, handling the return professionally will ensure continued customer patronage and loyalty. HAVING A POLICY OF EXCHANGES AND STORE CREDIT ONLY ENSURES THAT CUSTOMERS MAKE SUBSEQUENT PURCHASE FROM LAWSON MEDICAL ONLY. PLEASE GIVE A SERIOUS THOUGHT TO YOUR RETURN POLICY. PLEASE PUT YOURSELF IN YOUR CUSTOMER'S SHOE. PLEASE HELP UNDERSTAND WHY A POLICY OF EXCHANGES AND STORE CREDIT ONLY AND WHY NOT A FULL REFUND IF THE PRODUCT IS UNUSED AND IN ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION.

Karter's Medical Supply is the best! We were in town for only a few days to visit the museums. Two…read morepeople in our 4 person party were 80 and 86 years old. To assist with mobility, a friend had suggested we rent scooters rather than relying on the wheelchairs that might or might not be available at the various museums. We called Karters and they said they would deliver the scooters wherever we wanted and at whatever time! Everything was confirmed via email and they more than delivered on their promise! We changed our time (perhaps twice) and Karters was flexible and fully accomodating. Tony met us on time at our selected museum and gave a quick tutorial (the seniors had never used a scooter) on the spot. The scooters were fresh, clean and ready to roll. By the end of the day, the seniors so much enjoyed the freedom and comfort provided by the scooters that they decided they wanted them a 2nd day! We called and scheduled and did everything again day two - even riding the mall that day! (Of course we changed the pick up time 2 or 3 times.) Karters NEVER said "no" to any of our requests and served us like they were taking care of family members. Because of the ease of our visit, the seniors have agreed that we can and should do it all over again! I really cannot fully express how pleased I am with this company.

"Better than new"…read more I had a fantastic experience with Luggage & Leather Depot on the good ol' Hamden Road. I was dashing out to a meeting a week or so ago. Grabbed the trusty messenger bag con laptop, and bang! - strap broke, and everything spilled onto the floor. I collected everything, checked to see what had happened, and proceeded to be late to my meeting. When I arrived back home, the first thing I did was try to locate a leather repair shop, and the depot was at the top of the list, and less than a mile from me. I called, and the gent said that they would likely be able to fix it, so I took a walk over, and dropped off the bag. In less than 3 days, Mr. Kim called to inform me that he'd completed the repair. Again, I walked over to retrieve my Mark & Graham bag for a grand total of $38. Not only did I just save a few hundred dollars by not having to buy a new bag, but the repair was as advertised - "better than new" - with new leather, and an added metal bar for strength. I can't recommend this business highly enough. I'm looking forward to my next interaction - think I'll buy something new there next time. See you in town!

It was definitely in need of repair. Mr. Kim was able to get the repairs done in a little over a week and the repair work was so seamless that I could barely tell what had been fixed. The only telltale sign is that he added a new, stronger zipper to replace the broken one which actually made it much easier for me to open and close the interior compartment. The $45 I spent in repairs was a worthwhile investment to ensure I would have many more years of adventures to come with my fabulous ruby red suitcase!
