He was really nice and helped me relax about the situation. As a woman, it can be scary to hire a mechanic but I feel confident in my choice. These guys are great mechanics! Unfortunately I only know the basics about cars and my Pontiac was acting up. The entire electrical system was messed up, I couldn't roll down my windows, radio wouldn't come on and I couldn't tell how fast I was going or how much gas I had. After taking it to multiple people and them either not knowing, or it costing an arm and a leg, I finally called Mobile Mechanic Denver. Mike was prompt and fixed my car in no time. We had high hopes because of all the positive reviews.... This guy showed up and looked at the van, had the "diagnostic", say he couldn't fix it, had me pay, referred us to a shop that couldn't help us, and left within 5 minutes. Referred me to an exhaust shop (because that was his "diagnostic" --broken header or blown gasket). I pull up to Exhaust Pros (20 mins away from home) and explain to the mechanic what I was told by this mobile mechanic. Only to hear "noooo that's not right I heard what was wrong with your car as soon as you pulled into the lot". The man at exhaust pros deserves my $50 wasted on this guy and a 5 star review -- he didn't even charge me to tell me he knew what it was and couldn't fix it!! Go to next shop -- Urban Automotive (5 blocks away from my home), that can actually fix what is wrong with my van and they also knew exactly what was wrong with the van as soon as we pulled in. Turns out it was a blown out spark plug which both mechanics said any seasoned mechanic should be able to hear and spot within seconds. Long story short risk driving your car in poor conditions to a mechanic that won't charge you for a wrong diagnostic! read more

I will not use him again. I had a decent experience with him once so used him a second time. He came to my house and diagnosed my issue, but did not want to do the work that day so we agreed that he would come to my house the next morning to perform the work around 9:30. At about 11 the next morning I called to see if everything was okay and he stated that some unexpected issues had come up, but he was on his way. When I pressed him for how long the wait would be he said, 'about an hour'. I gave up waiting for him at 3. He never even called. read more

I have been trying to reach this guy over and over. At first, he answered my call to get a quote. However, I mentioned the yelp coupon available ($99 for $149) and he immediately said its only accepted on Wednesday after being scheduled in advance. I told him I would call right back. He didn't answer my call. So, my dad called to ask if he accepted credit cards. Boom! He magically answered that call from a different number. He stopped answering my call from my number. I called from my husband's phone and he said he was busy and to call back. I tried to call back and received no answer. I had even asked him to call me back...and he never did. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and tried to reach him again today...no answer. How can you run a business this way? You never answer your phone or return calls? Quite frankly, I believe this is because I mentioned that coupon. Why run the special if it's such a burden to honor? Very unprofessional. read more

I have been without a working car for two weeks because of the carelessness of the "professionals" at this establishment. At first things were going great, a technician came to see my car immediately after my first call and diagnosed it as an issue with the starter. I payed and they supposedly ordered the part. Since then the technician has no called no showed two of the appointments HE SET UP! When I called back nobody answered. I have called multiple times and reached out via email but no response as of yet. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Do yourself a favor and go to someone who values your time and acts like a professional. read more

So my husband was traveling through Denver and we suspected the wheel bearing was going out. I called the Mobile Mechanic and he said he would take a look at it when my husband got to town. Unfortunately, even though he spoke with my husband and committed to showing up on Saturday at 8 am to look at the vehicle; he never showed up and didn't respond to our calls or texts trying to find out what was going on. Since my husband was only in Denver for that morning it caused us quite a bit of anxiety as he still had 800 miles to drive to get home. We found a local shop that was able to work him in but it delayed him 3 1/2 hours from the group he was traveling with. James seemed like he was going to get the job done and I was relieved to have him helping even though it was not a regular work day for him. If he couldn't make it he should have notified us, instead of keeping us waiting. If he had just told us it wasn't going to work out we would have contacted someone else much sooner. Not impressed with the service...since we didn't get any. Sorry James, but reliability counts too. read more
