I can't say enough about Bill, we hung out talked all while he was working on my 4runner. He fixes it like new! Having bill come to me just made our lives so much easier! Charged me 50 bucks to install a battery , then when he was asked to install a clamp my car comes back with 18 different codes , I do not recommend this business and either do others in the area , bill has been shady at times and the community tells about it. read more

Bill was really helpful. My car overheated on I-70 and was not drivable. He diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything clearly, and had my car fixed in no time. The pricing was very fair, especially compared to other shops I've been to. I'll be coming back for any future car repairs and would highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable and good work. read more

Bill was very thoughtful to help with my needs over the phone and was able to help point me in the right direction. Appreciate him taking the time to consider my situation and discuss my options at length. read more

My car's check engine light flicked on while driving on I-70, and suddenly it wouldn't go above 40 MPH. Finding a good mechanic is hard enough, but a mechanic in an emergency, in a town that isn't yours, and on a holiday weekend--that's impossible, right? But somehow Bill not only diagnosed and fixed our issue, but kept us appraised of his work in a timely manner AND didn't cost us a fortune. We were between Idaho Springs and Georgetown, so we pulled over and called Bill. He was the only shop open on a holiday weekend and he answered immediately and told us a couple of things he thought it might be. He checked to see if we thought we felt safe enough to drive on the side roads to get there, and that we had a ride to get us from his shop to where we were going, and let us know he might not be able to get to it that night but would call us in the morning. I'm so happy we broke down where we did, and wish Bill could be my regular mechanic. He was truly kind and thoughtful throughout the process, and is clearly very knowledgeable and capable in fixing cars as well. read more

My car had an overheating issue, was 13° and snowing outside and Bill very kind and helpful!!!

We were stranded in Dumont a few days back while on vacation. I found Bill - who was highly rated on google - and he did not disappoint. After leaving a message he called me back within 10 minutes and drove down from Avon to help us. His prices were very reasonable and he diagnosed our car problem quickly. He even followed us down to Idaho Springs so we could pick up parts and helped us finish the repairs even though we had already paid him for his work. I would recommend Bill to anyone - he was a real stand up guy and very honest. That can be really hard to find when you are female working with a mechanic. I also think having a mobile mechanic in the mountains is the smartest thing I've ever seen. It can be so easy to get stranded up there and it made me feel like Bill was our hero! read more

I was driving from Iowa to western CO for my son's D2 conference championship games. My car died at the Dumont exit but I was able to limp it over to Bill's shop. He said he could look at in 1-2 days and every other place was 1-2 weeks! He drove me to Evergreen to get a rental car allowing me to get to the games on time! He also shuttled me back to return the rental afterwards! I ended up needing a new alternator. He fixed my car for a fair price and went above and beyond as a nice person to help me. He truly is an amazing human being. Thank you Bill! read more

We broke down in Bills town. Called him and he came within 15 min. We had major oil leak and I feared the worse. He saw the problem, and had us fixed up and on our way. Life saver! If Iived anywhere near him, he'd be my go to mechanic. Thanks again!!!! read more

Bill's costumer service and overall generosity was greatly appreciated. I had to be towed to Bill's after my car broke down on the side of 70. There ended up being computer issues and my car would not turn on. Since Bill was unable to do much, and ultimately recommended I get towed to a dealership, he did not even charge a service fee. He looked at my car quickly and helped to give me specific recommendations-even down to which dealership he would go to. I give Bill my highest recommendation. He was consistently helpful during a stressful situation. read more

Thank you for helping my girl and her friend on their way to Denver the other day. She said that you arrived within less than 20 mins and fixed her belt on the spot. AAA would of taken over a hour and a half to arrive and she probably wouldn't of made it to a garage in time to get it fixed. We will be calling you if we ever have any car troubles headed to Denver Again. read more

We were on the road traveling from Ohio, suddenly had a radiator issue, and after calling Bills Mobile he fit us in last minute on his already booked schedule! Great service, super helpful and informative on what needed fixed. If I didn't live in Ohio i'd go to Bill's Mobile for all my car needs!! Thanks again Bill! read more

Bill's responsiveness was incredible. He drove out to West Chicago Creek Campground (WAYYYYYY off the paved roads) to help rescue our RV and get it back into driving condition after an electrical freakout. We went through the manuals together and he got us back on the road that evening. His charges were than fair and service was with a smile. It really reminds you of the gold old days where your local mechanic would get your car back running again and make you feel good about your fellow man. If I lived near Empire or Idaho Springs he'd be my full time mechanic for all my vehicles! read more

Bill was amazing! Be helped me in a pinch the day after a holiday and then some. I am so grateful for his expertise and willingness to go above and beyond! Bill's generosity will make me a returning customer any day. If you are traveling through or a local needing a helping hand, Bill will even drive to you to fix your automotive needs. Thank you for all of your time and effort to make me feel safe again while I ride the beautiful Rocky Mountains! I will be back and continue recommending you for anyone looking for a trustworthy, honorable, and expert mechanic either car or motorcycle! Stop by Bill's today and look no further! read more

Bill went out of his way to help us out. We were stranded outside Idaho Springs on a Sunday and he came to help on his day off. Then spent many hours and many phone calls to get parts, alert the police (we were parked illegally) and get us back on the road. He also worked with the warranty company to reimburse us. Highly recommend him. read more

My daughter and her friend were in Colorado this week. Drove all the way from Illinois to enjoy skiing on Spring Break from college. They ran over a large snow covered rock on the highway coming back from skiing, and ruptured the car's oil pan. This kind man came over to the Airbnb they were staying at to assess the damage. This was late at night. Took the time to do this! The next day in a BLIZZARD, he had the part needed ordered, delivered and then towed the car to his shop and fixed it while they waited nearby in a hotel lobby to stay warm. Above and beyond! Highly recommend this gentleman! read more

My son was stranded in Empire - borrowed our fairly complicated turbo BMW, and Bill showed up and had him on the road again so fast - and then he followed up to make sure everything is o.k. He even escorted him part way just to make sure he made it! We are actually about to take the family truck up to him to fix - it is worth the drive from Boulder to deal with an honest and trustworthy guy! read more
