Left my Galaxy Note II (international model) in to be repaired to replace the charging port back in August. They told me it would be two weeks max due to being international model. I rang every week after and five weeks in they still hadn't ordered it "because it's an international model, it's a difficult part to find in europe." When I told the guy on the phone that i found the necessary (international) part on my first attempt on Amazon UK and a site called etradesupply he didn't know what to say and that he was going to look for the required part on Monday....what was he doing up until now? That was late September.
I had to ring them up constantly. Never any attempt by them to contact me and they wouldn't take my email which I thought was strange for a business. Also, a popular model of phone that is only two years old and they telling me it's difficult to get parts?? A really poor, amateurish service.
Update: 2/11/14: Just over nine weeks in and still no phone or contact from them.
Update: 7/11/14: They contacted me for the first time!!! No, it's not fixed but they excitedly tell me that they have a batch of battery pack chargers for me to charge the battery externally outside the phone. I hand over €20 for this cheap looking generic charger. No, it's actually €50. But they gave me €5 discount for them having my phone 10 weeks. How generous. No more than two hours total to charge the battery they tell me. After trying it when I got back, it's actually over 12 hours to get the battery to 78%. Have since seen the same charger on amazon for £3.24 since. Also, whatever they were doing with my phone when they had it, they damaged my samsung battery, with the top of the battery lose, I only bought it about a week before I dropped it into them. Ineptitude at it's worst. Surely, they haven't been in this job long because they don't seem to have a clue. DO NOT GO HERE. read more
