I needed to find something quick to eat since I was wfh and was already out to run an errand. I…read morehave always liked Quickly but some reason it's not always on my mind when I'm hungry. Anyway for some reason they were on my mind and I decided to drop by. When I walked in there 2 customers who were waiting for their order. I looked at the menu and as always if there are various options I get overwhelmed. This is not a bad thing but I was hungry so I tried to make a quick decision. I went with the house combination sandwich. Why? I believe the main reason because it had pork in it. I really have no idea. I don't really see too many restaurants have pork sandwiches. I mean there are ham sandwiches but that seems different. Anywho, I also ordered fries and a coke. I wish there was a combo meal option but that's not the issue at hand. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. This was a plus because I didn't have worry about being away from my work computer too long. When I got home the first thing I noticed were the fries were very hot. I mean so hot I didn't have touch them to find out. The box was on fire almost. They also provided ketchup packets. The fries were hot and delicious and not too salty. They had a real crunch that I like on my crinkle cut fries. Now the sandwich was a perfect complement to the fries. It was so delicious. I don't have the name of the greens we're on the salad but I'm pretty sure they're used in a lot of Asian dishes that I've had before. The carrots added a little crunch to the sandwich as well. Now the meat part of the sandwich was glorious. The pork and other meats were blended so well with the spices that it created a very glorious taste. It was so good. 5 stars.

Rice in Mobile promises an Asian bistro experience with sushi, but don't let the name fool you --…read moreit's mostly Thai. And maybe they call it Rice because that's about as saucy as it gets. Everything looked promising at first -- nice menu, good presentation -- but one bite in and I started wondering if they ran out of sauce halfway through training. The chicken was a bit overcooked, the vegetables were spot-on, but without any sauce to pull it together, the dish felt like an unfinished thought. The salad was there for moral support, and the gyoza was the one shining star -- crispy, flavorful, and seemingly made by someone who still believed in flavor. It's not bad food, just kind of... indifferent. Like that coworker who clocks in early but spends the day rearranging paperclips. Rice could be great with just a little more passion -- or, you know, sauce.
