I stopped by in the morning on 3/1/24 and a gallon of regular was just $4.09 which is the cheapest in this area. It was about $0.40 cheaper than any gas station in alameda. It doesn't look like anything has really changed from the old 76 gas station. The mini mart is still there. You can still get a smog check for your car. There's an air and water machine but it was out of order. Theres a lot of room to maneuver around in the middle of the gas station. Just be careful when you are entering and exiting the gas station. The pumps are located near the sidewalk and there are a lot of elderly Chinese people that walk around the street of this gas station.

I went inside the foodmart to survey the snacks. I said hello to the uniformed guard, and walked around the place. There was an awful bleach smell, and I had to leave. But it did look like a fully stocked foodmart. So, I got a tankful of gas and left. No problems.

There were four people in line and the employee was having a screaming conversation with someone off to the side without even acknowledging those in line. Object of the conversation with something to do with the employees last trip to the doctor. This horrible place is unfortunately convenient for me. I frequently risk my life getting gas here. I only hope and pray that one day my luck will not run out. It does not take a statistician to realize that there is a reasonable chance you will be robbed or murdered at this gas station.

I'm glad that I did. Now this isn't the fanciest place ever and at the time I went, you couldn't pay at the pump at all. You had to go inside, but I had some cash and was able to pay inside. I think I got $20 worth of gas and it was worth it. There were very few people there, so I was able to get in and out rather fast. I don't know if I'd come again, only because the last time I was in that area, it was to get my vaccine and that was in March 2021. And since we're in a pandemic, I haven't been going out nearly as much as I used to. But, if in the area and they have the right price and I'm driving by because I'm avoiding freeway traffic, I'd stop in again.
