Come on in for the chicken, leave with the Blueberry Honey Biscuit! Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a weekly lunch for me. A very kind young woman, Sara, is always cheerful and helpful. She suggested the blueberry biscuit and it is delicious! The gas station is always clean and stocked with drinks and snacks. The restrooms are spotless! read more

Really frustrating experience with one of the workers here. I come in regularly and she sees me all the time, yet every single visit she still makes a huge deal about ID for cigarettes. I understand carding people, but then she acts like she absolutely cannot type in the birthday and has to physically scan the ID every time. The inconsistency and attitude make the whole interaction unnecessarily irritating for regular customers. here's a pic of the incompetent she's extremely slow always has a line if she's working just go across the street it's not worth it read more

Chevron - slow incompetent do not even stop here if she's working. - Gas Stations Near Me - Berkeley, California

Definitely not the worst and definitely not the best place to get gas. In fact, that's definitely one of the more expensive gas options in the area, which is why when I stop by there was nobody pumping their vehicle. I didn't interact with any staff, nor really have anything to complain about other than just stating that this place is imperfect. Unless you really really need to fill up your car, I would encourage others to get no more than a gallon and Feng one of the cheaper options nearby. Of course Chevron gas is high-quality, but is it really that much better than the other options nearby? I don't think so. 3/5. read more

Bad gas. It smells awful and burns dirty. Hated this gas. Don't recommend really. Bad gas

I drove in to get my car washed. My car was stuck in the automated car wash. Car did not get washed. Both doors were closed and I could not get out. Good thing I had my cell phone with me and I was able to call the cashier. The cashier called someone to push the Emergency button to let me out. Be careful. read more

Chevron also has a convenience store and a Krispy Krunchy Chicken franchise inside. store is clean, sells booze. beverages are self serve. 6 ish parking spaces in front. the parking spaces at the far left aren't part of the station, parking there can lead to car being towed. brew: european roast covfefe (s. 1.79) dark roast -didn't taste that bold, not a lot of body, maybe got stale. watery. smooth not harsh taste. fab customer service....not busy post lunch.. for whatever reason. read more

I came here to get gas and this seems like a newer location. I came in, paid for my gas and got it quite easily. It didn't have the grunge and grime of most gas stations and was bright and shiny inside. The woman working there was very, very nice. I probably won't come back because I rarely am in this area when I discover that I need gas, however, if in the area and I need gas, I will come here. read more

Bad gas station. What kind of gas station have no public restroom? Where do the employees take shit? I came here to use the restroom because it was new and clean. I came here before and the white or Spanish lady was nice. I came here today because i was nearby. This black lady employee said it was broken. I don't believe the BS. I was going to buy my drink and put gas after using bathroom. I wont be coming here anymore to fill gas or buy anything. Unfriendly Black lady employee mugging me when i walk in store. NO restroom. NO Gas. read more

Easy in and easy out, even though it is in a busy intersection. The young lady who was at the counter today, was efficient and personable while I was paying for my gas. She also provided me with helpful info when I told her last time I was there I paid for my gas and I drove off. This 5-star rating is particularly for her! read more

This Chevron station looks fairly new, wasn't on Yelp! until I added this gas station. This spot is on the corner of Ashby and Telegraph Ave., don't get it confused with the older Chevron station on the corner of Ashby and Shattuck because that station doesn't offer E85 but this spot does. I usually go all the way to the Chevron station in Concord, CA for E85 but after using an app to find the cheapest E85, this is the place. This spot was .70 cents cheaper than my usual spot. Guess I found my new fav spot for E85 Ethanol, plus it's closer for me! So any of you E40/E85 heads, check this place out, you might like it! NEWLY REMODELED CHEVRON - RE-OPENED! read more

I only go here for their E85. They have 2 pumps of E85. Well guess that's it. It a gas station after all.

I usually stop in this store to get my drinks for the day but after my last visit never again. This place is going to shit. There are always homeless guarding the entrance at this location and it doesn't feel safe. I saw a couple of men smoking Meth right in front of this gas station! What makes matters worst is ,this is a prime location where kids visit after school. The last thing I want is to worry about my child or friends child coming to this unsafe location with the poor management that it has.Changes need to be made at this location fast! The manager was told about the problem and she absolutely does nothing about it, not to mention how she responded to the issue! UNPROFESSIONAL.The store seemed stocked and pumps worked fine but safety is definitely an issue. I'd like to see new management at this location and a total revamp for the Berkeley community. read more

Why did the Asian young lady at 8:00 PM throw out about 80 pieces of chicken which was very wasteful considering the homelessness in the Berkeley Community. When a local business associate asked if he could have a piece she said No! I guess its better to waste than to show kindness read more

Store is supose to be open at 6am but the girls just sit inside with the door locked. Laughing at people. Or they put up a note saying there on break. This is every morning from 6am to 7am. They won't come to the window. They completely stero type everyone. The customer service is some of the worst I have experienced. read more

I'm not too sure if this is the right Chevron I visited, but it's the one I checked into soo...whateve. Went here to pump som fuel for my car and some of the pumps were not working. A few of them were out of order, that's not a good sign is it? Anyways, found a pump that was working and went on my way pumping gas. If this is the right station, the price for regular was $3.55. They also accept Safeway Gas Rewards, so put your phone number in or your Safeway card, if you shop at Safeway! Food Mart is available with convience store goods. Didn't stop on in though. Drove here running out of gas coasting in neutral to find out that it's closed. Thanks a lot store owner for updating this on your yelp page. You think Chevron would be a large enough company that they could have a person who is responsible for updating this kind of stuff. Guess they don't care enough about their customers to let us know when one of their stations closes. THIS LOCATION IS CLOSED!!!! NOT OPEN 24/7. CLOSED 27/7 read more

Had to pay inside & I didn't get accurate change back, because he didn't have sufficient coins. Not coming back here!

There is a pan handler that hangs out at the pumps. When I refused him money he kept hanging around my car. With the pandemic I stayed in my car. The pan handler proceeded to remove the hose and put back in the cradle. I was not able to do myself or get my receipt. Next day I noticed on my credit card bill $84 had been charged. My charge was for $39. I contacted the gas station and reported to Ivy. She reported it to Paula. They now tell me since I didn't replace the nozzle myself they will not reimburse me for the difference. They even were able to see the whole incident on their video feed. Told me I should have call the police. I'm still waiting back from a call from their supervisor. Chevron on Telegraph offering same dollar amount on gas. Will never purchase from this station again! read more

I don't know how these guys do it but they've managed to keep their prices low for quite awhile. I suspect that the cheap gas station right across the street impacts the price but whatever it is I'm grateful. Occasionally, they've had a pump not working or slacked on general upkeep. The store is pretty small but you can find the basics if you need a quick fix. read more

This Service Station used to be very price competitive, along with its neighbour across Ashby. However, it got rebranded a few years ago, so its prices now better reflect the Corporate pricing model. The strategic location is good and I have taken advantage of this. Yet, the Chevron on Telegraph at the Highway 24 Ramp is a better choice if I'm heading in that direction towards home. read more

I can't comment on the gas prices, but two hot dogs for a little over $2 and whatever toppings you want on them isn't bad at all when you're hungry. Great in a pinch and the staff is friendly enough, I will certainly be coming back whenever I'm stoned and craving a chili cheese dog read more

I would never buy gas here cause its way more expensive than Arco, but I do frequent this place for their extra mile munchies. The Honest Truth: Best place to get gas in Berkeley! Consistently the cheapest and its Chevron! The Details: This is my go to place to get gas in Berkeley. Always the cheapest (usually 10 cents cheaper than the one a couple blocks up on telegraph and ashby), hands down. There can be some homeless people that hang out there, so give them a couple bucks to get some food. read more

YES. CHEAP CHEVRON GAS! Especially with the prices hiking up like no other now, this place is golden! Why am I rating this Chevron when people usually only care about gas prices? (myself included). Well, they're the cheapest in the area that I've tried, including other Arcos and Chevrons that advertise lower prices. How do they do this? Pretty simple: they don't tamper with their meters. Logic says when I spend $40 at a cheaper gas station, then I should get more gas in my tank. Not so with at least three other stations (1. Arco on Telegraph/Alcatraz 2. Chevron on Telegraph/55th 3. Arco on Shattuck 51st). At first, I swear I thought I couldn't do math when these 3 stations had lower prices on gas, yet then I noticed that I was filling up with 15+ gallons at times when I only have a 15 gallon tank. So I hop over to this Chevron, throw $40 of gas in my car, and it almost fills the whole tank. I'd call the BBB or the po po on the other stations to teach the owners a lesson, but it ain't worth my time. read more

This is the only chevron in the entire bay area (including San Francisco, concord, Marin and Sunnyvale) where if you share a gas card with your family (each with individual cards), you cannot purchase a small amount of snacks, let alone a bottle of water from their store, even with proper identification. If you are on your way out back home, out for trip or just looking for a quick snack, try the other chevron by shattuck (Near enterprise rental) or even the chevron(w/ store and car wash) by 55th and telegraph ave. Gas prices here may not be too bad compared to the others, but in terms of customer convenience, this location can do so much better. read more

I like they have a squeegee for the windows. I find a lot of gas stations don't. And when you use your Safeway card, you may get either $.10-$.20 off per gallon (I didn't know how this worked until someone explained it to me). For Berkeley, it's probably the best price. read more

My car signalled that I had low tire pressure so I pulled into Chevron, the nearest gas station. Ava was EXCEPTIONAL in service, helping not once, but 3 times as I struggled to get correct pressure into my tires. I even drove around the block to make sure my tires had enough pressure and came back for more air, and Ava still gave me exceptional service never ever making me feel like I was a nuisance for my requests but only giving friendly, helpful service EVERYTIME. This is a nice Chevron gas station. It has many pumps and they are nice and spread out. It is veery coveniently located. If you are heading up Ashby to get onto 13 it is easy to hop in and out. The only reason why I don't give it 5 starts is that it is consistently about 5 - 10 cents per gallon more expensive than the Chevron just a few blocks down the road on Shattuck and Ashby. Just plan your route a little more carefull and you can ejoy a much better deal on gas. Still, this is a good place to get cheap gas. read more

Don't bother stopping by this station when the one across the way is much cheaper with better customer service. I went in the other day trying to cash in a lotto ticket and he refused to scratch it to find the barcode. My girlfriend went in because she knew where it was located but after seeing her ID he insisted that both her ID and the ticket were fake. He was going to just take both from her and insisted that he speak to me instead of my girlfriend. He then told my girlfriend that he doesn't do cash back for lotto tickets and then told me that he didn't sell me this fake ticket so he doesn't have to cash it. I then asked him why he sells them if he doesn't cash them to which he replied go to a different gas station. Great beverage selection. General location was a little interesting...I was hassled by several people, whom I don't think were even customers, as I was filing up the gas of my rental car. Gas prices also seemed slightly more inflated as it was closer to the University than other locations on the street. I was on business for work, so I paid the price for convience. read more
