I stopped for gas here last night, and had a fair experience. Yes, a fair experience. I didn't get robbed, I didn't get hassled by homeless people, and my credit card didn't get skimmed or overcharged. I wanded my credit card, and started pumping. I went inside the foodmart to survey the snacks. I said hello to the uniformed guard, and walked around the place. There was an awful bleach smell, and I had to leave. These Days since Covid 19 the highlight of my life is getting out just to pump 10$ worth of gas. Prices have dropped so with my commute car 10$ is a good half+tank back to full. We can't go many places so I don't use much gas these days. Grocery store, and home that's about it. Chevron has been pretty busy. I've been trying to not lean into my negative tendencies but straight up i'd rather go to hell than go to this gas station again. I've spent less time in line at the big ticket Disney rides than I did waiting for a pump here. It was "something else", as my mom would say. And like, two pumps are broken. There's drivers just parked at pumps not moving, then there's the people who haven't gotten on board with paying with credit card and need to park at a pump, go inside, wait in line, pay with cash, blah blah blah and then they still have to come back out and pump and it's like... I could have filled up the tanks of 4 cars in the time it took you to go inside and pay cash, and now this lot is practically a Gulag for people trying to find an empty pump and lining up on both ends trying to snag a space when a car leaves. Also, public service announcement, there are not nearly enough gas stations in this area. Demand vs the scarcity of available pumps is threatening the civility of this otherwise wonderful town. read more

The extra mile convenience store in this gas station has employees that are very mean and is very discriminative to disable people. They are, as everybody else, is having a stigma against people who are disable. I, today went to this extra mile store at first trying to eat. But first I did not buy anything. Afterwards I go back to this extra mile convenience store and the lady said it is closed and locked the door. Then another customer go in but she lets her in, but not me. This lady is having a stigma against disable people and people who cannot afford their food. This situation happens at around 12-12-30pm. This lady should think further. They have no right to do this to me. I am, as a disable person, is protected by the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the epilepsy foundation. This realistic world is having a lot of stigmas against people with disabilities. I am living well with epilepsy. I need to have fair rights. The food is okay here but the services are not. Lately, I've been hating Bank of America for its complete lack of convenience. "Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink" applies to the never-ending supply of Bank of America ATMs on every corner that I'm not. Is there a no star option??? Today my car's helpful little "get more gas before you kill me" light went on as I was driving along. Not wanting to upset my little baby, I stopped at this station because it was the first major one I saw. I tried to use two different credit cards. After punching in my zip code, it didn't take either card.....Soooo, I walk into the store, wait in line behind a 12 year old hooker buying her starbucks energy drink, and try to get some gas. The woman rings me up and asks for id. Do you ever stick you id in a pocket after showing it to a door guy and then forget to put it back in your wallet???? Well, I do. That meant that I couldn't get gas at this station. I had business cards, credit cards, bev mo card, and EVERYTHING ELSE IN MY WALLET, except for cash and my id [both in the jeans I was wearing yesterday]. The clerk tells me that in certain areas they check the id for credit cards to avoid fraud. She advises that if I want to use it as an ATM that would be ok......Guess where my ATM card was at???? Yup, same pair of jeans, snuggled up to my id and the cash. I understand that gas prices are high, and they want to avoid fraud, but if someone has my credit card, and knows my zip code, I'm sure I am worried about more than them just filling up the tank without my authorization!!! I went there to give them one more try -- the card machines didn't work in all prior transactions. And guess what (surprise!), they didn't work again. (Yes, I too got hit up for change, but I can appreciate that this may not be wholly within the control of the station owner and staff.) My beef: Rather than put a "not-working" sign on the pump, they let you stop, get out, try to make the machine work, and find out for yourself what they already know -- that their card readers don't work. I can't blame the staff, but I would rather not patron a business where the owner is so concerned about skimming every penny of profit that the machines are constantly in need of repair... and they don't have the courtesy of marking the pumps accordingly. read more

I can agree with all who have experienced rudeness and lack of CUSTOMER SERVICE skills. I have been at this gas station almost everyday and the crap that customers deal with at this location is ridiculous. The customers are the people who are increasing their sales, that is why people run a business-to make money; It makes no sense for any customer having to wait 25 minutes to be serviced when in fact this CHEVRON gas station is open 24hrs-this is what I had experienced at 6am this morning. This place will RIP YOU OFF. Literally, not figuratively. My husband put just over three gallons into his motorcycle one morning a few weeks ago, dodging the homeless person that kept hassling him, offering to hold the gas nozzle for him, etc. He used his Chevron gas card at the pump. The machine had no printer paper, and would not give him a receipt, and he didn't trust his bike/tank bag would be safe with that aggressive homeless guy there, so he wrote down the date, number of gallons, type of gas, price and final total, and just went on to work, like most of us would do. Much to his surprise, he later saw the gas station had charged him $125 instead of $13.01. He disputed the charge with the credit card company, and they said, "Oh, it's a legitimate charge. We contacted the gas station and they said that charge was for 30.45 gallons of gasoline at the time of purchase." His motorcycle tank holds 5 gallons. Hello, fraud much? Argh. The nozzles are set up to cut off early. Always check the pump numbers to be sure you get your money's worth if you prepay inside.

I had the same thing happen to me as a poster below....bothered by two homeless men, who scared me away and then after I left pumped 125$ on to my card, when my purchase was only for 9$. The credit card readers on the pumps never seem to work. Service is a bit surly. No change for $50 worth of gas with a $100 bill? The worst Chevron gas station I have ever been to. Their Card machine never works, and their gas prices are always at least $.15 more expensive then the rest of the Chevron gas stations around my area. The last time I went in there, I only had a $100 bill, and they don't brake them, so I thought I would use my card and not think too much of it. Turns out their system was down, so I tried paying with the $100 bill, and they still wouldn't do it! If your system is down, and people need to get gas, why wouldn't you give out change for $100? When you have a sleeping child in the car, this REALLY sucks.
