Normally I don't review gas stations unless they are really yanky or have champagne service while filling up. I mean, they are gas stations, right!!!! As heading out of town we pulled into the dreaded pump #7. The slowest pump in town. Seriously, I shaved this morning and by the time I filled up I had to go home and shave again. Some pumps are fast or at least better, but this one, #7, sucks everytime. I don't think I have ever been inside so not sure what's happening there.

Odd fuel pricing, dirty looking trash area and a fire extinguisher that needs to be re-certified…read morefor the 2022 year. Odd fuel pricing. I don't know where this trend is to overcharge the people who want to buy mid grade fuel. 89 should be in the middle of cost between 87 and 91 - its a game of some sort where it would be hypothetically cheaper to buy half a tank of 87 and half a tank of 91 rather than to buy a full tank of 89. I don't like funny games with pricing. Chevron next door does the same thing - and with gas stations usually you copy the neighbor's price or make it one cent cheaper than the neighbor. So I don't know who started this nonsense. Dirty looking trash area. Stains of who knows what. Sort of unpleasant to look at. That needs some freshening up. As I looked at the dirty trash area I then looked at the fire extinguisher. Yes, the lengths I go through to write a thorough review.... I found the fire extinguisher to last be certified in 2021 - needs updating. Probably a little paint around the surrounding area as rust oozes through the box. If you like a mediocre fuel experience with questionable safety equipment I would think this to be the perfect place for you.

You simply pick a drink, peel off the lid, place it in the machine, and pick the thickness desired. The choices are thin, regular and thick. I picked regular and the machine ran for about a minute. When it's done, you have a 12-oz drink for $3.99. You grab a lid, straw, and spoon. My chocolate shake wasn't super sweet, but it was smooth and well blended. There's no ice crystals in the shake. There seems to be variety of shakes and fruit drinks.

Based on how much gas I have left lol I mostly went here for the convenience store option. Since the gas is cheaper across the street. But now it's not really convenient any longer since they locked the doors to the inside and you have to ask for things from the window. I'm sure it's for good cause, but I like to walk the isles to see which snack I'm going to stuff in my face later. Either way, I'll probably be going across the street now, for the cheaper gas and ability to walk through the isles. Even if it is a little sketch.

Close to the freeway and they sell diesel. If I remember right they sell B20 diesel here - if you…read moreare particular this might be a consideration. B20 isn't the normal diesel #2 - if you have a newer diesel you might want to ask your dealer what is preferred. Maybe something like a BMW 328d might be more sensitive. I've got an old ALH that I filled up here and it is so tough so gangster it can run on anything - even crushed dinosaur bones. Yes the OG ALH tdi can make it through the apocalypse - so rough so tough so overbuilt - and best of all no CA emissions that collect soot and clog stuff up. It all goes straight into the atmosphere - pre smog check 97. If you have a newer tdi 2009 and newer they can be more sensitive. The fuel pressure is much much higher and if the diesel doesn't burn clean it clogs up your DPF filter and its expensive to replace. I only had one of these for a little while - a 2012 and I did the buyback and 'oops I'm sorry money' from VW. I know there are only so many regen cycles and its a ticking time bomb but I do still miss it very much and would snap up a CUP Edition in a heartbeat if it had the checkered upholstry and a manual transmission and most options. So what does B20 mean? It means that it is produced with 20% bio diesel. In Berkeley there is a station that milks this for all its worth and positions itself and presents itself as 'green' and environmentally friendly. You do your own research and have a quick chat with your mechanic. Regular gas is more straight forward. I see the prices here are about what they charge elsewhere. There are lots of ways in and out and I've never had any problems during my visits. I do miss the little gimmicky dinosaur that they used to have. I think it would be great if that made a comeback. It fun for the kids.
