Walgreen's website offers in-store testing by appointment. Assuming that your pharmacists and aides have been given training I made an appointment for Sunday, September 27, at 8:30 at the3 Walgreens on Shaver Road in Portage. When I arrived, I was informed that the pharmacist and aide have not been trained and could not administer the test or read the results. They advised me to arrange an appointment at another store. I drove the twenty minutes back home and called another store on Westnedge and Whites Road in Kalamazoo and asked the customer service person in the pharmacy there if they administer the in-store test. That person replied in the affirmative. So I drove thirty minutes to that store. Upon arrival I was told that they could do the test or I could buy the test, take it home and do it myself. The customer service person told me it was the same test. She said it was right here and pointed at a blank wall inside the pharmacy cage. When I asked, where since she was pointing at a wall, she told me that it was on the other side of the wall she was pointing at. When I asked which test I should choose, she answered curtly, "Whichever one I wanted." Overall the experience I have had with Walgreen today is enough to make me not return, ever.

I have never been so uncomfortable receiving anything medical as I was going to them for the shot. It was horrid. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I promise, any other store around will be cheaper, better, and more sanitary. But no matter what, do not trust that pharmacy to give you your shot. I am shocked they haven't caused any infections by now. This pharmacy is so bad, it needs to be shut down because they make someone seriously sick. Do not give them any business. We need to make sure they go under and get closed or else someone will get seriously I'll from going there. Walgreens, I know you're a dying business but either do better or just close your stores. I'd recommend doing it before your pharmacy kills a customer from dirty contaminated vaccines so you can avoid the major lawsuit that will follow.

Enter Walgreens. There was a section of wall dedicated to just phone chargers; they even the one I needed (though, admittedly, it was vastly more expensive... I paid $24.99 and they have them on Amazon for $8.99; but, desperate times call for desperate measures, my friends and flying phoneless these days is just foolish). SIDE NOTE: I also talked myself into buying one of those Reese Pieces filled Reese Cups. Definitely not as good as the Inside Out Reese's which no one seems to remember, but me. The woman ringing me up was cheerful and quick. The store seemed cleaned and laid out like ever other Walgreen's I've ever been to. And there was plenty of parking. All around pleasant experience.
