After seeing several people frequent the store, go inside, come out with purchases, and pump gas, I returned and he told me the same thing. Today he asked me if all of my bottles were purchased there, and since I couldn't be sure, why I brought them in there to return.....as though I'm supposed to keep track of each and every beverage and where it came from when I'm spending every penny in their store and so I'm not taking money away that wasn't deposited there in the first place. Then when he said something in another language and I said "I'm sorry I didn't understand you", he said "of course cuz none of us speak English right?", as though in anyway I had insinuated such. I'm sick and tired of being discriminated against for doing my part to keep as much out of landfills as possible. Michigan's bottling deposit program is hugely successful in spite of assholes like this.
