But I also use an App called GasBuddy to check prices in an area even when there is a Costco gas station nearby. In this case, I found that this Circle K station was only 2¢ per gallon more than Costco but Circle K was right off the Interstate whereas the Costco location was about three to four miles each way off of the Interstate. When I factor in the loss of up to a half gallon of gas or more to get to and from the cheapest price, I figure that I can pay up to a nickel per gallon more for a station that is right off the Interstate. This Circle K, like most of them, had spacious gas pumps so it's easy to pull around to get to an open pump. It was generally clean and has a convenience store as well.

Then, with a few people still in line, the cashier shut down. No apology, didn't move people to another line, and the other line was just as long and slow moving. I balked, and he just looked at me briefly, then turned back to counting out his drawer. I said "What the hell, we were all in line! Why would you shut down and not even say anything?" Another fellow working behind the counter but not ringing up customers said "he didn't shut down, he has to count out his drawer." He didn't respond, shrugged and continued not helping customers. But the line I was in was shut down, and I wasn't going to go to the back of another line, so I left.

As a recent customer I called to get more info like what pump #, will I be notified if my data was compromised, etc. I have my receipt, so know the date, time, and pump used. The woman who answered said she has been instructed to say "no comment" and cannot tell me anything. I asked if there is another number to call and was told "No, there is no information for the public." WTH?!?! Zero customer service. Outside of this occurrence, this place is pretty dumpy, so I am not normally a customer. I only went there bc it was the ONLY gas station open on a late night Sunday when I was returning home from out of town. First & last visit, ugh.
