There have been numerous times I have been a in a poor mood because of work, family, etc. But, each time I walk in here, I am greeted by someone with a smile. This is not an ordinary smile. I can easily tell if a smile is fake or not. Believe me, this smile is not fake. I majored in psychology and human relations at Davenport University, so I know much about facial expressions/features. Psychologists, like myself, have found that a particular set of facial actions give away true smiles. These "genuine" smiles are called Duchenne smiles. These are smiles that engage the muscle around your eyes. Below, I have a photo of different type of smiles that workers show. I have been to numerous stores where I have received a smile such as (Row 1, Column 5). I can tell immediately that they actually do not care about my happiness. However, the smiles at this CVS on W. Michigan is truly remarkable. The main pharmacists and others since have invariably been attentive and helped above and beyond the general care and caring. It has grown since the 22 years when I began as a customer. In all that time I have received exceptional attention. Once, recently, a single prescription was not delivered on time and when I called to find out what the happened the response was surprise with immediate remedying of the situation and bountiful apologies. Only once in 22 years and yet here on Yelp I read two negative reviews. Hard to figure out how that could have happened. They are by far the best and I have used many pharmacies in 5 cities of 3 countries. Thank you Advanced Health on Oakland near Centre!

I have waited over a month for refills with no movement, last week my husband followed up on these scripts and was told they weren't filling them since I already had a refill. I have new insurance and these aren't controlled substances so my husband reiterated to fill it now. Today after my husband received a refill and I spoke to the driver asking where mine was. I called the pharmacy and was transferred twice on my lunch break. I gave up and am finding a new pharmacy for myself and my family because they have proven once too many times by delaying scripts and writing the wrong scripts on pill packs they can't be trusted. Our health is at stake with these people.
