I picked up a prescription and didn't realize until…read moreI got home that it was the generic brand when my doctor specifically put in a DAW (dispense as written) due to me having an allergy in the generic fillers. I contacted my doc who sent in the name brand AGAIN and was like no biggie I'll just swing by and pick it up tomorrow. Well when I checked the status of my script, it said "early refill not approved". I told my doc who said that always happens and to just have the pharmacist tell insurance to override it due to their mistake. I call the pharmacy told them the situation, they say let me put you on hold while I speak to head pharmacist. Was on hold for 40 MINUTES before it hung up. I was a little irritated I just sat on hold almost an hour, but called back thinking something must have just happened. The new lady got my name and as soon as she heard my name, she said "I am now disconnecting this call"....!!! I was never rude, no encounters happened beforehand. I was in complete SHOCK as to why she couldn't simply explain what was going on with my prescription. I call back again and this time I'm pretty mad that she straight up hung up on me when I did nothing wrong. This is a prescription that is needed daily as I have no thyroid. Its pretty serious and even when they are out of my meds, they immediately check to make sure I have enough until they can fill them and transfer me to a different location if they don't. Call back and ask why I was just hung up on twice now for no reason. She says, "Mam, we are busy and have lines out the door. We don't have time for this". Excuse me? You don't have time to figure out my medication thats on delay because you guys messed it up!? I am transferring pharmacies as I was disrespected and hung up on by 2 different techs. This isn't the first time I've had issues. There seems to be a delay every time I have a script sent it. Then you wait HOURS no joke to even pick it up while sitting in the slowest line you could ever imagine. I will NEVER return to this pharmacy again. How disrespectful and rude. I will be reporting to corporate as well. They should be fired for their behavior.
