We step in and nobody is in sight but within about 20 seconds someone came into the main room and greeted us. We were looking at all the sweet treats and settled on 6 milk chocolate peanut butter cups for 60 cents each. I enjoyed them, but it would have been an extra bonus if they had used sea salt like they did with different items and charged a touch more. Everything was reasonably priced and they had some unique items, like chocolate covered orange peels. If you're looking for some nuts, chocolate or gummies for your significant other and are in the Kalamazoo area I'd come in and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Some things are made here and other things are bought, fyi. I do think this is info that should be apparent and not something you should have to ask, since everything is repackaged with their own label. They do roast the nuts and make the brittle there. I normally love chocolate dipped pretzels but the coating on those and the graham crackers is way too thick, disappointing. The whole point is to have the contrast between the crunch and the chocolate. The prices are reasonable and the woman who helped me was very nice. I would stop in again to try some other things.

Their gorgeous garden invites you in (and reminds me I've got to get some hollyhocks in the ground), friendly staff welcomes you, and you take your unforgettable treats with you (or potentially dine-in, although seating is extremely limited and this definitely feels more like a takeaway shop). We've long been fans of Eileen's English Toffee, which we've often purchased at vendor events like the holiday makers fair at the Kalamazoo Nature Center, so it's nice to finally know where to get these goodies year-round. The owner teamed up with a baker for this storefront, so be sure to also try the English toffee cookies, scones, pies, and more. It would be easy to miss this business as its in a mixed residential and business district and looks like a Victorian home. Also, be sure to enter in the correct driveway -- it would be easy to misread the sign and wind up at their neighbor's house.

I believe it was the owner I met behind the mask lol! The toffee is just as terrific as they claim and doesn't stick to your teeth. The chocolate is the perfect complement with the smooth dark yumminess melting around that butter toffee. Their proportions of brown sugar to butter, the time spent bringing it to a burn - good thing they aren't around the corner or I'd far too much! You can order from them online and there is a telephone number available. My only complaint is their email link is broken.

Everything is nicely packaged and labeled with ingredients. The popcorn, available in both sweet and savory flavors, tastes great--much better than that break-your-teeth stuff you can buy in bulk at the grocery store. Around $3-$6 for a small bag that one person could finish by himself, the offerings are pricey. Again, I only shop here for special occasions. I love that they also carry a small selection of specialty sodas. I drink pop almost never, but if I see a unique flavored pop in a bottle, I'm suddenly all about it. Here I've found Jones Soda flavors I've never seen before. They also sell greeting cards. See? A very present-friendly place. I've always received excellent customer service. The employees are friendly and available to answer questions. You are able to sample any of their popcorn flavors. I do wish they were more proactive about serving their caramel apples though. I bought one and asked "Can you cut it up?" The employee responded, "Yes, that's how I'd eat it." You missed my point, sir; I wanted to know if you could physically cut my apple so that I could conveniently eat it on my way home. Oh well.
