I'm always amazed at just how many Sunoco gas stations always have problems when I walk into them…read more However, when I had to fill up on gas today (and since my GasBuddy card isn't accepted at the Mobil station across the street), I had to come in here. I was on my way to Albany from my Dutchess county home, had chosen to fill up in Hudson (off 9H) but had missed many of my landmark gas stations, and chose this place. I realized the price was a little higher than normal and was half-expecting it. It was still much like any other Sunoco, but having had to use pay-at-the-pump I knew I could fill up here. I had noticed a diesel truck waiting near the exit, which was my only drawback (having had to smell the diesel being burned throughout my adventure here), but I guess that can't be controlled. It didn't present much problem, but having come in via 9H and exiting via Rte 66, having to make a hard turn to get back on 9H was impossible when I realized my mistake. It's a little rundown on the outside. There's few spaces to temporarily park and do a quick shopping trip/convenience store run inside, but I just needed gas so I wasn't looking for much. Thanks for being there when I needed you.

Long story short, Marvini sold me a lemon: a Subaru Outback with a bad engine. They refuse to take…read moreresponsibility for what they did, and now I will have to pay 5-6k in repairs for a car that I drove for only 5 months, and paid $5500 for. The price was too good to be true for an Outback with 110k miles, and I should've listened to my better judgment. I've never written an online complaint about a business before, and I don't enjoy doing this, but the situation that Marvini put me in left me no other recourse. The longer version: The car stopped running after 5 months because it was sold to me with an engine and oil pan that were both covered in J-B Weld. This is the assessment that I got from a widely trusted, long-established, local mechanic (I myself am not knowledgeable about cars). Marvini will insist that they didn't do this, and that all the car's problems are my fault because I waited too long to get an oil change. If they read Yelp, I expect they'll respond to this with these same defenses. I've spoken to my trusted mechanic about Marvini's rebuttals, as well as other mechanics, and they all say that there's no way I could've caused these problems myself. I've shown Marvini pictures of the patched engine and oil pan, and they've basically pleaded the 5th and said nothing, or otherwise accused my own mechanic of messing with the engine and oil pan after the car was already sold to me (which is absurd). They've also refused to replace the engine for me, for the obvious reason that they would view this as an admission of fault. I don't make a lot of money and this was a big purchase for me, to help get me through a winter in the mountains. I can't afford the repairs, so now I have no car because of Marvini's unethical business practices. I strongly recommend that you think twice before buying from them.

Thanks to Marco, it is now running perfectly! Another mechanic told me to scrap it or pay $2300 to fix it. Marco charged us $800. Our other old vehicles (2010 Toyota Matrix and 04 Ford F-150 truck) have been expertly serviced by Marco and crew for 2 years now. Marco even came to our house in Ancram to "pop the clutch" of our truck (which needed a new starter), saving us a towing bill. The best part is that he is in touch with us throughout by texting. Everyone needs this guy. (845) 464-2005

Most shops were closed; John answered the phone and curtly said he could remove the piece or repair it. We said we were on our way; we had to drive slowly. Perhaps 15 minutes later (it wasn't yet 3 PM) we arrived to find he had closed up. That felt unkind and ungracious at the very least. I rang his phone and no one answered, even a message. Did we take too long to get there? Sorry, John, if that was the case. But anyone who wants to deal with him should be aware of a certain selfish rudeness in the business plan.

Their prices are reasonable and they are all so kind! True story: My husband and I were heading home from a funeral last December. It was pouring, and out of no where we got a flat tire. We pulled into D&M to get off the road. The shop was closed, as it was a weekend, so we tried to change the tire ourselves. Mike happened to be in the shop and saw us outside. He told us to bring the car around back.He took the car inside and changed the tire out for us. He certainly did not have to do that. While we were already loyal customers, Mike certainly confirmed that fact for us that day. We are forever grateful!
