After calling him at least 12 times the car was returned to me in the beginning of June covered in bird poop and filthy inside with a spray paint job from a can. After the equinox was examined by the Genesis Chevy dealership, they gave me a diagnostic with all of the issues wrong which is posted in review . At this point, my posts about the terrible service are affecting Kouder's business ,so he called me today and threatened to come by my house and hurt me if I don't stop. Please don't deal with this dishonest man, as now I have to file a police report and sue him.

They tried to tell me it needed nearly $4k worth of work to be safe to drive. It needed work but not to that extent whatsoever. I declined and said I wanted to get a second opinion and only pay for the initial inspection since they hadn't started any work yet. They tried to tell me they couldn't give me my car back since it wasn't "safe" to drive it, that I would need to get to work done there or tow it. They think that they can jerk people around cause they're women or because they seem young, try to illegally keep my car. I came in for my keys and suddenly they are fine letting me take it after I ask them if they want the police involved. This is when I realized that they were under new ownership. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Old owners were great but these people are absolutely terrible awful scammers! Go to Alex's Auto down the street instead, they gave me a fat more accurate and affordable estimate and let you have control over what parts you want to replace and when!

Then man who opened seemed very annoyed. By the way he was acting my guess would be someone else was late and/or the crew the night before did a bad close job, because he was obviously not enthused to open. It's SUPPOSED to be a 10 minute oil change, but I was there from 8:10 a.m. and didn't leave until 8:40. NOTHING upsets me more than wasting time, particularly my own. I always double the time estimated, but 40 minutes? That's way too long. The good stuff are they clean the windshield while I waited, which was great and something I've not typically had done before when getting an oil change in the past. I mean the stores name literally has tire in the name. I stopped going to belle for a few years because of the service men and how they treat people but today i had no choice as i was stranded. I explained to him and he literally "broomed" us, for anyone who doesn't know that means they don't want to deal with you and make you leave in a nice way. He said they don't do plugs and they only patch and it will be "many hours" until we can be seen. Those screws belong to the cabin air filter cover/housing, which had been opened and not resecured. This makes me question what else may be rushed or overlooked. If you open parts of a customer's vehicle, reassembly shouldn't be optional.

When we were getting to the end of our service, the technician stated "sorry for the delay, we are working on getting the skid plate screwed back on and it's around 20 screws. We don't want you to lose it, new ones are $300-$400". Well guess what; the skid plate was not fully attached and screwed down and one side fell down and scraped with 5 screws missing! Guess who is out "$300-$400"; we are. Take your car to a dealer or do it yourself and don't run the risk of an oil change costing $500. Ridiculous.
