Unfortunately they must use a dark roast for their espresso and it tasted burnt (ugh like Starbucks, worst coffee in the world). A mild roast will bring out more coffee notes.

Put a sign up that says so and stop wasting people's time. Never going back. There are other coffee shops.

The baristas were very friendly and welcoming and even informed us that their usual espresso shot was a double shot and asked if that was ok for us. Which was great because that would have been too much for us today and we were able to split the shot between us. The espresso was delicious with a delicate flavor of butter and dark chocolate. It had a slight bitterness to it, but not an over roasted or burned taste. The flavor changed as the shot cooled and was actually sweeter once cooled to room temperature which was surprising. Overall a great tasting espresso experience! We will definitely go back whenever we are in town and I look forward to trying their cinnamon rolls next stop in!
