Moab Garage is a casual eatery right on the main drag of Moab that offers coffee, ice cream, salads, sandwiches and burritos. My husband and I stopped in for an early lunch and I decided to go with the burrito with avocado while he enjoyed a Turkey Gouda sandwich. The burrito was definitely one of the best things I ate while in Moab and I highly recommend it regardless if its lunch time or breakfast time. The logistics at Moab Garage are that you order at the counter and then they'll bring your food to your table. There is a counter, some typical tables and several community tables. There are also a few spots to sit outside on the sidewalk. Once you are finished with your meal you bus your own table. Ordered online, picked up on our way up to SLC. Hubby got the breakfast burrito w/chorizo and it was very fresh and delicious. Daughter got kids ham and cheese grilled sandwich, delicious! I ordered the BLT on sour dough because the ratings were great, it boasted to have a delicious tomato jam. It was the worst sandwich I have ever had! Sadly. The bread was delicious, the bacon was thick and crispy, it had all the right components to be perfectly yummy. The tomato jam ruined it in my opinion. It was sweeter than ketchup with chunks of tomato, I was so disappointed. I picked around it and ate a little of the bacon and half a piece of one bread. Huge waste of money. We heard a lot about Moab Garage Co and their ice creams from multiple vloggers who were exploring the Moab area, so we definitely wanted to give them a try. So we grabbed dessert on our way out of Moab from here. We ordered the "Brownies over the Moon" ice cream (single scoop) and the milk shake version of it as well. Both of them were really yummy and weren't too sugary as well, which I like in an ice cream. The ambience was very cute and lively for dine in as well. The shop will mostly always be crowded due to its popularity, so be aware of this if you have plans after picking up food from here. Tip: I would get the milkshake version of any ice cream flavor they have over the scoop version, because the milkshakes give you a better bang for the buck, and they are very thick too! read more

Love this spot! MGC has all the good stuff: open area with tables and even counter seating areas, great all day breakfast and sammie menu offerings and an eclectic coffee bar! Its centrally located on main street, I strolled in after a morning run, easy to order and find a seat. The traditional breakfast was scrumptous, eggs cooked just right and the bacon wasnt too crispy but just the right amount. Even the bathrooms are single stall non gendered rooms and had crazy good lighting with a disco ball going in the back! Solid brunch/cafe spot in Moab, will definitely be back! read more

This was the perfect lunch spot after, and I definitely recommend stopping here after a long day of hiking nearby! It's the best of both worlds - a sandwich shop and a coffee shop. I got the BLT (with avocado) and a side salad. The bread was super fresh and perfectly toasted. The BLT was stuffed with so much bacon. Sometimes, you worry a place will skimp on the bacon... well not this place! And the sandwich itself was huge. The side salad was good too, and was a good balance to the BLT. Also, their coffee selection was bomb. Everything you could want. It was clear the staff works as a team and like each other, which explains why the service was so great. They got you your food fast, friendly and in style. The restaurant itself had a modern industrial meets diner feel. There were plenty of tables available when we got there. This was more like a 3.5 for me. The place gets pretty busy so I would order ahead on their site if you have service and give them plenty of time to get it ready. If you can't order online just plan for some extra time, especially if you are just ordering a couple drinks because you'll stand in one line no matter what you're ordering. If you don't want to wait in a long line and can't order online then I'd suggest going super early or try to catch a late/early meal so you're not going when the biggest crowd is there. We ordered a few breakfast burritos and a few quinoa bowls. The bowls were pretty good and definitely filling even though they look small. The burritos on the other hand were not that great. Kind of dry and bland and all four people agreed so it wasn't just a random one off. They couldn't t eat the burrito without the salsa. The drip coffee tasted burned but the macchiato and the matcha latte were both decent. There is some seating inside and some longer tables that you might have to share. There are also a couple two seater tables outside. Overall, this is an ok local place to grab a bite. I've only been a few times so maybe it will be better next time. read more

I also got a macchiato and to my surprise this was not a macchiato that I was used to (full 12oz drink), this was instead like 2 shots of espresso with just a little bit of foam on top. I went here based on a yelper recommendation, and MGC did not disappoint. I went both days in Moab lol. I ordered street tacos one day and blt next day. Both days I also ordered salads to go for my dinner later, as they close at 3p, and I knew I'd be too worn out to go out again. The salads kept perfectly until dinner in my hotel fridge. I ordered the berry chèvre salad and the southwestern salad. Only thing is the southwestern had a LOT of sauce/dressing and I wish I had ordered it on the side. It had bbq sauce (would have preferred salsa, for less sugar) and a white sauce/dressing? Order at the counter and pick your seat. There's signs everywhere to also bus your own table. I. Love. This. Place. Ate here twice during our four days in Moab and I loved both times. Super impressed. During our first visit I chose the Southwestern Salad with Chicken and it was SO good. HUGE portion. It was greens, BBQ sauce, a southwestern chipotle ranch sauce, chicken, corn, black beans... I'm not sure what else but noms. I also had a cold brew. Earlier today, after a long hot hike, we came back and I had the grilled cheese sandwich of the day which was a ton of cheese, bacon and a apricot sriracha sauce. YUM. Very good. We really wanted to try the ice cream and had seen the flavors listed during our first visit so this time we were able to try it and it was very very good. I had two scoops and different flavors for $7 which is pretty steep for two scoops of ice cream but it's a huge portion and was really delicious. Plus the cryo-cream technique they use is neat with the mix-ins and it being made fresh in front of you when you order. The two flavors I had were the orange apricot creamsicle and key lime pie. Both were delicious. My friend chose blueberry basil ice cream and I tried a bite - it was so good! I doubt any of the flavors would disappoint. The vibe inside this place is also awesome bc it looks like a super hipster shop inside and sells a few homemade Moab goodies on a table. Staff were all kind, answered tons of questions, and worked with my friend on her food allergies going out of their way to look at ingredients and answer questions or modify items on the menu for her. I ordered the three little pigs daily special grill cheese with chips. I topped it off with a San Pellegrino. It was excellent! Bacon, salami and ham with lots of cheese on tasty bread. The overall atmosphere was fun and a cafeteria style where you order then sit down and eat. They also have a large selection of ice cream if you are craving some sweets!
