First visit for Saturday dinner Super nice folks take good…read morecare of you here Solid line to order but worth a wait for sure Chicharrone sticks, cooked to perfection...crunchy outer skin and juicy pork inside, best i have had in quite a while Burgers....outstanding. And get the beef tallow cooked fries, top shelf. The way fries should be cooked....beef fat ! But will say to staff...they were a bit heavy handed with the salt....you may want to go easier for most folks...customer can always add more The Nashville hot chicken sandwich i ordered.....was not as crispy as i had hoped and the spice took over the sandwich The slaw, pickles and bun didn't have a chance If you like high heat, go for it. But i will be ordering a burger next visit Will definitely be back, best food truck experience in a long time Super clean patio if you decide to eat here Definitely a 10/10 experience. No Mames rocks.

They responded really quickly and explained that they take precautions in the kitchen and that the chicken and french fries are cooked in dedicated fryers that do not contain gluten. We were really excited to give them a try! We went for dinner tonight, and they were pretty busy. The person taking our order was really nice. I let him know that I have a gluten allergy, and he made sure to mark it on our ticket. I ordered the gluten-free Nashville chicken sandwich with french fries, and my husband got the open-face Nashville with fries. Mine was absolutely delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the gluten-free bun was actually really good, and the fries were great too. My husband really enjoyed his meal as well. They have a nice little area where you can sit and eat. While we were eating, the owner came out and checked on everyone to see how their food was. He was extremely friendly and genuinely seemed happy that we enjoyed everything. We had such a great experience, this is definitely a place we'll be going back to!

Home Girl's Hibachi - Triple Hibachi with NY Strip shrimp and lobster

Listen, if you know what Hibachi is then you understand that you're getting blackstone cooked, high…read moreheat, fresh food-- think about eating at a dine in where they light an onion on fire... ok! Now you get it. This is that, but in a food truck! I got the NY strip steak, with chicken on the side for my 2 year daughter ($29). My partner got the tofu hibachi ($18). This came out to about $50 total. You may be thinking- WOW that's a lot of money. Let me tell you, they give you a TON of food. And not just any food, fresh good quality food. Each hibachi bowl comes with fresh veggies and your choice of white or fried rice-- and if you get fried rice expect that it's cooked fresh on that flame in their truck. They do it exactly as you would expect in a restaurant. So while it did take about 15 minutes to get our food (we were the 2nd folks in line for the day) it would take MUCH longer at a hibachi-style restaurant (hours if you think about it). There was so much food in my bowl I had a whole extra meal the next day that I warmed up in my wok. Now, my partner on the other hand doesn't get quality tofu, and he inhaled his whole plate while we were at the food-truck-park. The tofu was crispy, the rice was fuego, and the veggies were fresh! If you're looking for QUALITY food from a food truck, cuts of meat that are not the "scraps" but the whole prime cut, if you're looking for friendly ladies cooking you a meal that goes the distance than this IS the place. ... and there is a reason this sells out early every day. It's in high demand! I give this 11/10... above and beyond! Ps: I wish I had kept the pictures of the tofu and chicken, for my daughter it was a lot- we even shared with the dog when we got home... and for the tofu it was so supremely cooked. We all ate good!

Theo's operating in food truck mode only now. He mentioned being at the yellow & blue HappyDaze Cannabis building across from the Maverik gas station on Jefferson St NE at junction of I-25 and Jefferson. I'm unsure of what days & hours. Give him a call to get the "who, what, when, where, why, & how" for his location on any given day. However, I must say that Nomad BBQ is still providing *excellent* Texas style BBQ of exceptional tastiness at very economical prices, given the high quality of the food. If you see their truck anywhere around town, stop in, chow down, and smile ... smile ... smile ... at all the wondrous gustatorial nirvana you've just indulged in. Hands down, killer good BBQ! Everything I said in my previous review still stands. Of special note, besides the extremely good food, is the gregarious, outgoing, and hyper friendly personality that positively shines out of Mr Theo. One of the most convivial food vendors in town. Period!

You can tell he is passionate and love sharing his bbq with his customer. His signature meat? He mentioned the pulled pork meat and the brisket! The side worthy of trying (although Theo himself doesn't like coleslaw himself? The pineapple coleslaw...based on my brief discussion with another local customer I met onsite! I personally found that the price/value for the amount and quality of food Nomad's bbq provides is well worth it. I had a pulled pork sandwich (plus a bit of brisket and the 2 sides that I couldn't resist trying to save for my next meal) and thought the meat was smokey, jiving and so scrumptious...and this is coming from someone who normally doesn't eat so much meat like myself! Overall, I really like that Theo seems passionate about making the food that he serves. Plus, it doesn't hurt that this bbq type of food tastes so good..and is so rare to find ABQ, too.
