I have a brick wall and he cut my quarts stone to fit, some would just grout fill. His quote was itemized and the most reasonable "no gouge" quote. As a single woman who has been searching for talented trustworthy, knowledgeable professionals to help with my 1957 home I was blessed to find Sal and Desert Stoneworks! You "Better Call Sal." He clearly knows his craft inside and out, and he took the time to walk me through all my options - including the pros and cons of prefab vs. slabs. I ended up going with slabs based on his insight, and I'm really glad I did. He was also flexible and easy to work with. I needed help with material pickup, and he was willing to handle that (for a reasonable fee), which took a huge weight off my shoulders. My flooring isn't perfectly even, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was reinforced, level, and solid so the finished product would hold up over time. What really stood out to me was that Sal didn't disappear after he got paid. He checked in and made sure I was truly happy with the final result. That says a lot about his pride in his work and his character. The countertops look fantastic, the craftsmanship is top-notch, and the whole experience felt smooth and professional. Sal is a true master of his craft and a stand-up guy. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for quality countertop work and someone they can trust in their home.

A closed concept home built in the 1980's became very open, doing extensive work on the interior. Good attention to detail on design work, he and his crew frequently went above and beyond. The kitchen cabinets are outstanding! He and his crew were very good at rolling with the punches. Creative solutions were implemented when challenges arose, and our original scope became larger and larger. Almost completely new fixtures were installed throughout. Extreme positives: He worked with us, his prices were reasonable and his flexibility is exemplary. Negatives: He was working on other projects and getting his crew there consistently on time was challenging at times.

The quality of my cabinetry is superb, beautifully grain-matched walnut. Tom installed my kitchen and is the type of installer who takes personal pride in his craftsmanship. -No corners were ever cut, and the details of my kitchen are sharp. I truly couldn't be happier with the finished product. The outcome is a high-end custom kitchen when in fact the cost, including counter tops was quite reasonable. Matt managed this project from the start. I appreciate a owner of a company who is as personally involved in all his projects as Matt is. His communication with me throughout the job was second to none. He always kept me in the loop of the daily process. He provided me with contractors who all did fantastic electrical, plumbing and drywall work preparing for the cabinetry install. The cost that Matt originally quoted, was exactly what I paid and there were never any up-charges or other costly surprises. Having a new kitchen installed may be one of the more disruptive and stressful projects that you can do to your home especially if you live in the home during the project, but it is far less painful when you work with a group who personally take pride in their workmanship and work tirelessly to limit the disruption. I am grateful I worked with such a great team at Son's for my project. I am now looking forward to my bathroom remodels!
