Our 40 year old shower had a floor pan that was badly stained and moldy. Nothing would clean it. Saw the Mr Tub Fixer info on Yelp and decided to have Ben take a look and give us an estimate...if it could, in fact, be restored. His estimate was slightly less than the other restoration services and that combined with the glowing reviews he had on Yelp led us to choose Mr Tub Fixer. Very good decision. He worked diligently through the day and the result was outstanding. I highly recommend him for your tub and shower restoration. read more

Had the tub reglazed a few weeks ago. Very pleased. Ben is a true professional. He was on time, clean and efficient and the tub looks fantastic. I have only good things to say about him and his work. read more

Do you believe in Magic? You will after using Mr. Tub fixer. Your fiberglass tub is cracked because it was some cheap Chinese import. Now you need to turn it into a forever tub and you don't want to destroy your bathroom in the process? Call these guys. They come in and pulverize your tub into submission. Then they build it back up stronger and better than ever. Your tub is out of commission for a couple days but it's pales in comparison to the time/money you'd need to replace the tub outright. These are the guys! Family owned and operated too. Limited overhead lost on greedy owners. Feels good knowing you're supporting both the owners and the "doers" of this amazing craft! read more

Mr. Tub Fixer does an amazing job if you have a tub that is worn out and ugly. I am pretty sure that he can beautify it again. We are our contracting company and use him on many jobs and he's amazing. read more

Ben really knows his craft as we had blemishes and stains on our master shower fiberglass floor form epoxy due to the composite marble shower walls. He would try one process and if that didn't remove would add a second process for a small additional charge.. He was able to remove everything the first way and it looks brand new. Clean, Knowledgable, and a friendly professional. Will highly recommend him in our community Del Webb Rancho Mirage. read more

Both shower tubs came out looking great. They were 35 years old and now look like new. They are hard to get a hold of. I had a plumbr out and he stepped in the tub with his boots on. The next day I discovered a small crack in the bottom. I have called several time and left a message on their web page but they don't answer my request to patch the tub. I don't expect a free repair. I said I would pay them for their time. read more

We had Ben refinish our 1979 bathtub in our condo and it looks like brand new! He was very professional and did a fantastic job.

Ben just refinished my 40 year old shower. It looks fantastic!! He is prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and provides an unbelievable product!! You would think that it is a brand new shower but it was only a fraction of the cost of a new shower. Someone else reviewed that Ben was hard to connect with. Text his cell phone - (760) 404-8593. He responds quickly. Ben paid great attention to detail and spent a long time prepping the shower, so that the finished product has no visible flaws. And when he was finished, he cleaned up everything and left the bathroom clean and neat. I couldn't be happier. read more

When I first mentioned to my mom that I was going to get my existing tub reglazed rather than replace it she sorta sneered and said I wouldn't like it. She mumbled something about "these things always looking awful." Well, I'm not sure if she was thinking about reglazing the way it was done 30 years ago, or if she just hadn't met Mr. Tub Fixer. I almost listened to her, but my friend said she had her tub done 5 years ago, and hers looked AMAZING. Well, I couldn't be happier. My shower and tub look brand new for a fraction of the cost of what a new tub and shower would have cost me. Not to mention I love the shape of my tub which I don't think is even available anymore. This organization is super professional. Your calls will get returned, they will do their best to accommodate your scheduling needs and the work is excellent. A highly professional company from the beginning to the end of the project. read more

Very pleased with the results received from Matt's reglazing my fiberglass shower/tub enclosure. It took much longer than anticipated because they were repairing a prior job that was poorly done and required 10 hrs of sanding. The only challenge I had was the cleanup as many hours of sanding had so much dust on wood flooring and bedroom which took me hours to clean up. read more

Called Ben about polishing and re-glazing our 19 year old double kitchen sink which had become scratched and stained. He came out, did the work, and they look brand new. He gave me a few tips for keeping them that way. He's knowledgeable, professional, and very personable. You won't be disappointed. BUT - be prepared. The chemicals he uses have a very strong smell, so keep the house open with fresh air flowing thru, and if you have any allergies, stay away for a few hours. He can be reached at 760-404-8593. read more

Wow. All I can say is wow. We remodeled our home and didn't want the expense of putting in a whole new tub/shower surround. Ours was in pretty bad shape after 28 years. Mr Tub Fixer took off our old ugly glass doors and tossed them ( we wanted him to to that. Haha ) He put a new color glaze on the whole thing and it's like brand new. I'm so happy with the work that was done for a fraction of the cost of new and hassle of ripping the old one out. The color was that ugly tan before, just like the toilet. Time to upgrade that too now. He was super friendly and professional. Took all the safety precautions. FYI there are fumes. You might not want to sleep at home that first night. Tub can't get wet for two days after also. Luckily we are at my father in laws waiting to move back in read more

Tubfixer to have a day appointment to re pair our tub they told me 125.00 I said ok .then he co.es over with a additude and says that he can't fix it so I told him I'll pay .I just want it fixed . What kind of a business person is this guy I own my company for 34 years I'd been moderately successful amok in a say that business comes with stress but a he looked very stressed out so I would never hire this company if I were you be careful they give you one price and then when he seer he wants more and he sounds like a car dealership I'm very disappointed. read more

The service from my phone call with Lindsey to when Ben came over to do the work was amazing. They are both very professional and very pleasant. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will use them again. Amazing company and people. If there were a way to give them 10 stars I would. Thanks again Ben and Lindsey. read more

I have a normal-sized midcentury modern tub which I had refinished in white. Mr. Tubfixer AKA Benchmark Refinishing did a great, professional job. They were good about protecting my walls and fixtures. Please be aware that their cost for prep work is $65/hr, plus your refinish/spray quote. I didn't realize that my tub would need 3 hours of prep. I would have still done it, but for those on a budget it's nice to have a solid quote ahead of time. It cost $430 in total to refinish the tub. It looks great, but I'm meh about the price. I'll post photos. read more

We bought a vacation rental in Palm Springs recently, and everything was in amazing shape, with the exception of the original 1959 tub. It had already been reglazed a couple of times, but looked like a bad paint job with peeling areas. I knew we had to make the investment to get it reglazed so our guests would feel comfortable using the tub. I'm glad we selected Mr. Tub Fixer. It was a somewhat lengthy process, about 5 hours between scraping down the existing glaze and replacing it with the higher quality glaze. But, it was totally worth it. I thought the price was fair as well. I would recommend highly. read more

Last week I had my shower pan repaired by Benchmark Refinishing and couldn't be happier with the results. My fiberglass shower pan had started to crack and become soft, obvious indicators of age. I didn't want to remodel the whole shower enclosure, so getting the right repair on the pan was very important. In discussing the process with Ben, I felt confident of the process and his work. The job was done in one day, the preparation and actual repair and clean up met my high expectations. The only reason I didn't give this review 5 stars is not because of the repair, but the lack of "real" interest to reattach my shower doors the way they were when they were removed by his employee at the start of the job. However, if you need a repair of a fiberglass shower pan you will not be disappointed. read more

Ben and Lindsey were a great team. I live out of town and needed to upgrade my bathrooms. Re-glazing was a great way to get new looking sinks without needing to change out my vanities and counters.
