The last review I wrote was taken down 10 minutes after I put it on their website. The couch I…read morebought is cheezy. The company that puts things together said there was a"design flaw.". There is no frame, only a front and back board. The front board is bowed out so when the couch was put together it fell off the lip it was designed to sit on. I went down to the floor when I sat on it with the cushion. My credit card company thinks I should have my money back. I wish I had checked into their reputation, it isn't good. If you decide to buy something from them don't be stupid (like I was) and pay for it right away.

Never, Never, Never, Never, Never, use Bed Bath and Beyond I…read morepurchased 4 chairs from them 6 weeks ago. Two chairs were delivered and they were wrong, the quantity was off because the chairs were sold as sets of two with each box containing 1 chair and I only received 2 boxes. The chairs were wrong so I called the customer service and mentioned the incorrect chair fabric and quantity, I sent pictures of the chairs and in the boxes, and sent them to verify everything. The representative verified the incorrect amount and had concerns that any additional chairs would also have the wrong fabric as well and promised she would check into it and call me back. Instead I received four pick-up shipping labels ( remember I only have 2 boxes). I called back and verified that they do not have the correct chairs and requested 2 shipping labels so I could drop them off at UPS, which I did. Ok this should be the end of the story, but know that's the beginning, I need to shorten the next month of hell with customer service to this. Remember they sent me the pick-up slips, it just happens that I ordered the correct chairs from amazon and they never arrived, after many phone calls and investigations I found that FedEx picked up the chairs right after Amazon dropped them off. Ok it gets worse, I can see through tracking that the chairs are in a warehouse in LA however numerous phone calls and emails with customer service over three weeks were required for them to recognize that and an additional week for a contact number so I can dive 1 hour away to get them. When I contacted the warehouse they had already sold one of the chairs to someone else. BBB says its Amazons Problem and thats were I'm at now.

But shopping there is frustrating…read more If you're shopping for, say, a refrigerator, most of the high-end brands are scattered around the store so you can't compare them side by side - the store is so big that you have to ask where they are, by brand name. And when we asked the salesperson for something comparable to what we were looking at, hoping maybe for a brand we hadn't considered, they weren't very forthcoming - do you have Subzero? Do you have Kitchenaid? etc. If we couldn't think of a brand name off the top of our head, it wasn't suggested. Prices are not displayed on many appliances - we had to ask, and the salesperson had to go look it up each time.

Owner Anthony acknowledged our budget and presented many appealing options. Gustavo Felix and Jesus performed the multi-step process from carpet removal to custom baseboard painting. My husband commented that he was glad we hadn't attempted the project ourselves--since we're consummate DIYers--after watching the complicated process and the obvious ease of their long expertise. I appreciated Gustavo's edification on flooring types and the pros and cons of product choices between flooring contractors and Floor & Decor. Seems there's a big difference in the "Uni Click" and "Easy Click" types of planks that is not addressed in online tutorials. (He advocates the former.) We had originally decided on Floor & Decor products and merely sought installation estimates. Although we ultimately lucked out in meeting with Anthony and finding commensurately-priced products, I suggest more initial pushback to educate first-timers about quality differences and pricing. Big-box stores aren't necessarily the best choice. We are pleased with the new bedroom look and anticipate similar carpet replacement throughout the house down the road.

After searching and pricing so many companies to reglaze my tub I came across Mr. Tub fixer. Stop your search his prices and his service are unmatched. I have had the headache to remodel my home and Ben has made this part so much easier on me. He answered all my questions and his customer service has been wonderful not only that but Ben was respectful of my home. He was prompt upon arrival, as well as working hard while he was in my home. I recommend Mr. Tub Fixer. The old, unstable shower pan was sitting on nothing but sand. No wonder why it was cracking. There was a large hole in the ground around the drain. This is how the original installers left things 40-years-ago. Ben filled-in the hole and built a solid foundation before refinishing the pan with a shiny, new surface. It's a huge improvement. The downside is the awful odor that accompanies the products / chemicals that are used. I hope the products are not toxic in any way. There's a three year warranty but only time will telI how long the work will last. read more

CHIPPED TUB - sorry Mr Tub guy, but you refinished my condo tub and only 3 months later the finish is flaking off and I'm wondering could I done this myself with a Home Depot kit and saved myself the hundreds of dollars that you charged me. So disappointing. I was referred to you by another lady in my bridge club in Glendale who owns a place in the desert and I will need to have a talk with her about her recommendations. Called Mr Tub Fixer (Ben) to check out my 20 year old shower with cracks in the floor. He checked it out and gave me quote and we set appointment to have it done. As he started he found the base had no support. He cut out floor and reinforced, re-fiberglassed and entire unit refinished white. Ben spent time making sure everything was done correctly and the shower looks brand new. I give him 10 plus stars, I highly recommend him. read more

He gave me solutions when other contractors told me to figure out an alternative (e.g. two previous contractors told me to buy a certain type of vanity based on the location of a pipe and John opened the wall and said, "Nope, I can move or reroute the pipe, there isn't any electrical or anything in the way that prevents it"). I have a handful of examples like that, and it made me realize that the others just wanted to do everything the easy way. He also found a potentially catastrophic problem under one of the showers that had previously been missed. On top of that, I really appreciated that he has an eye for little details - paint touch-ups, visual alignment, etc. Highly recommend.
