I really went out of my way on this detour while heading back home. I wanted something quick…read morewithout having to backtrack to where I was and put Sheetz into my GPS and this was the nearest to me. And I do have to say it wasn't as near as you would think. Getting here was half the battle. I have never been to this area in my life and see why now. It is a bit of a cluster to get here and navigating the lot can be a bit confusing. I'm assuming that Sheetz is at the crossroads in the downtown region of this town. Which is good, that means you will have to pass by here in your travel. Going inside I was was in need of something to drink and use the facilities. I also thought why not get a small snack while inside. It was busy and customers were everywhere. I was able to accomplish all I came here for, except I didn't master one thing, as I rarely use that machine. See, I had bought a lottery ticket, which I don't do often, and it was a winner. According to the kiosk. I was like, great, I'll take it to the register and get my money. Well, I didn't know you had to scan the ticket, get a voucher, and then head to the register. When I was at the register the lady asked me if I knew how to use it, and I was honest and said no. She went out of her way to walk me back to the kiosk and show me how to do it. I thank her for that. She then walked me back to the register and did the transaction for the winning ticket. After that transaction she rang me up for my other items and I was on my way out the door to try and figure out which street I needed to then go down.

Sheetz is the same everywhere, it's a convenience store with made-to-order hot food, clean…read morebathrooms, gas, plenty of drinks (alcohol and regular) cold salads/fruit cups/snacks/candy and more. They're open 24/7, including holidays. Prices are higher, but it's there when nothing else is open.

The store is much bigger. Compared to the pictures on Google Maps. Not only is it bigger, but it is kind of relocated on the lot. By doing so, it makes this lot flow better. The pumps have moved to the other side of the lot instead of facing the main drag in town. This allowed for ample parking and a good rhythm for customers to place their orders online and run in to pick it up. This was mostly a pit stop for us and a place to throw out our trash. Facilities were well maintained, store was clean, staff were pleasant and polite. Good example of a well run Sheetz store.

Kwik Fill was just that, a quick fill up as we passed through Western Pennsylvania on a long trek home from the furthest points of the Northeast. It sits along a backroad in a location where there aren't many gas stations near by, so it's got the market cornered in that regard. Gas was inexpensive considering what I'm used to back home. I called the location and spoke to the manager and he acted boisterous and rude, didn't believe me that I had bacon on the sandwich and rudely called me a liar. It is essentially a truck stop, so be prepared for that. I'm not sure what was here prior, if you pull up maps on Google it looks like it might have been a Pacific Pride location before Sheetz bought out the truck portion and expanded their station. But it somehow works. There is ample room in the parking lot and allows for flow of traffic to continue. By basically having two lots, one for trucks and one for basic use, they really make it work in here. I needed to use the facilities while here and I have to say that this is by far the biggest bathrooms I have come across at any location. They are well maintained and well used. The store seems to have a little bit more of a selection than most other locations. No matter what you a looking for you should be able to find it in here. I was pleasantly surprised by this. Not that I needed anything.
