I would not hesitate in referring them to anyone looking for bath and tile work!! Preface: Let me start this tale with some background. This project was not an exciting "Lets update our 20 year old bathroom and make it stylish and pretty". Instead the project started due to an undetected leak, the stress that comes from random water leaking in random places, and was filled with questions and concerns. Countless others "assured" me that this was a plumbing issue or just due to some neglected maintenance on a 5 year old new-install shower - and then wanted to blast holes everywhere to "find" the leak. At the same time, I did not want to rip apart a shower to then find out it might be plumbing and now a full on repair. I felt overwhelmed in making the wrong choice and doing 2 projects chasing my tail. Lucas walked me through all the typical scenarios that he has seen, leaning on the most probably is a structural fail of the shower system and then did a methodical exploration. A couple hours later and a minimal demo, he confirmed that it was in fact not plumbing related and was def. a failure of the shower system -- and walked me through what it would take. Once his team was onsite, they were focused - creating a whole "clean room" at the entry to the bathroom. 1 day demo, 1 day water-proof, 2 days tile - all while providing the proper time for dry-out and leak testing between steps. Lucas is a perfectionist, being critical on the most minor details -- which to someone that also strives for this level, but has no idea what they are looking for, was very much appreciated. Additionally, he has instilled this value in his team - that are true craftsman with their skill. Each step of the process was walked through, discussed, and made sure we understood the task, goal, and expectations. This is why I say Lucas/Soma Tile was a true partner in this project, as it wasn't a fun project -- it was an overwhelming stressful start where Soma Tile helped take some of the burden and concerns off our shoulders and work it through with their own expertise, experience, and dedication - ensuring every step was executed with precision. Soma Tile knows their craft - Lucas is a partner, his team are craftsman. Huge Thanks to Lucas, Jesus, and Miguel -- not to forget Jose who magically appeared on the last day to leave the place spotless.

What an amazing job Lucas and his team did on my bathroom tile! To begin the project, floors,…read moresurfaces, etc. were protected from dirt and dust that can occur during tile installation. Lucas patiently reviewed design options with me and provided insightful guidance throughout the install. The attention to the smallest detail, combined with the use of a laser to ensure straight lines of tiles was impressive. No detail was overlooked! The color selection of grout was carefully coordinated with the tile. The workmanship is OUTSTANDING! The team demonstrated the same quality standards as they grouted and cleaned the tile repeatedly. Upon completion, Lucas, and his team cleaned the bathroom, and their work area. Soma tile was on time and a pleasure to work with! They truly are craftsman and take pride in their work. I would strongly recommend Lucas and his team.

Here's what you need to know: Perfection did an outstanding job repairing and refinishing my guest…read morebathroom tub. Brian, in particular, was the reason why we are such satisfied clients. Outstanding service all around and reasonable pricing for the quality of work performed by Brian. Brian showed up exactly at the time he said he would and worked over a half day on our project. He repaired a crack in the tub by cutting a section of the fiberglass, then bracing it on the underside with wood for support (so that it doesn't re-crack after repair with an adult's weight), and finally refinished the whole tub to a sparkling glisten. The result is that we basically have a factory/showroom new tub in our guest bath. Brian was super professional and extremely courteous - a joy to deal with. I would definitely recommend Brian and Perfection Tubs and Tile, and would use them in the future myself. The overall cost of the job was under $500.

This company came to resurface a bathtub on a Saturday morning. When finished, the man doing the…read morework said it would be about another hour before it would be all good to go back inside. The guy who did the work was very nice when he was here but that is as far as the positive experience got. Upon entering the apartment an hour and a half later, the fumes from the epoxy and acrylic paints were so heavy, our eyes were burning, immediate headaches ensued and it was obvious there was no way anyone could live there for at least a day. The heavy fumes smell did not dissipate for over 3 days (nearly 4) rendering the apartment uninhabitable - during a pandemic. Do for nearly 4 days, I was unable to live in my home and had nowhere to go. I just called the Perfection Tubs & Tile and the man I spoke with, who confirmed he did the job, denied any problem could have happened and also confirmed he is licensed and insured. I asked for the information so I could file an insurance claim and he hung up on me before I could finish my question. I called back and again, asked for the information needed to file our claim and he said I'll have to go find an attorney or something and figure it out and hung up on me. The entire process was not ventilated sufficiently and created a thick heavy layer of vapor residue on every single surface around the home, including furniture which is fabric. In fact, we had to completely seal off the bathroom for 2 days to try and keep the vapors from getting any further into the apartment. This didn't help as much as we hoped and due to the heat no knowledge of these vapors that would turn to a solid form, the central air was running so they were circulating through the system and ducts. When cleaning we removed there a layer of gummy residue everywhere in every room and through the central air system and exhaust vent. This should never be done if there is someone currently living in the home, or if everything in the home isn't covered completely to avoid getting this buildup from the fumes. 2 printers, a brand new sofa, carpet, computers, clothes, and a bed were all affected by this. Everything else had to be thoroughly washed and scrubbed down to remove the residue. It was never disclosed that this might happen and I believe if it was ventilated more appropriately and for a longer time, it would not have been such a problem. Being licensed and bonded does not mean anything to this company because they had no interest in cooperating when I mentioned I had to file a claim. The only option is to sue the company for damage caused by the vapors. I do not recommend this company as they have little interest in helping or making customers happy. hanging up on a customer who is calling to inform them of a problem that occurred is the LAST thing you should do when you receive a call of this nature. It is unfortunate he chose to handle the call this way because it will be much worse now that he won't TRY and work with me. I believe this is not the first time something like this has happened based on how I was treated and dismissed. To give you an idea of a visible portion of the vapor residue buildup, I am attaching a picture of the exhaust fan. I was able to clean most of it off, but imagine that dispersed on every surface of your home's furniture, walls, counters, bed, and clothing. Not to mention, the same type of buildup in the central air ducts, and main furnace structure.
