They said they liked Crystal Clear Pools and the owner himself had installed their salt system. I had the pool system checked out by a good friend with a lot of knowledge of pools and my pool company that we have been using for almost 20yrs. They both noticed that the salt system was not working and that that Crystal Clear Pools had been using chlorine instead of the salt system to treat the pool. No one had let the previous owners know their salt system was not working but were aware since they were using chlorine instead. Also the pump was not priming all the way. The pump was the first thing noticed by my pool company and friend when they walked up to the system. The previous owners were surprised and had the owner himself come out and fix the salt system. He replaced the main board and charged them $600. They told me that the owner said that particular pump was supposed to only fill half way up and that was normal. I doubled checked with my pool company and my friend and they said that was not normal. Then I called the manufacturer of the pump. They also said it was not normal and that someone needed to look at the pump. I called Crystal Clear Pools and left a message for the owner. After a few days someone from the company called and said the owner would get back to me. He never did. I called the company again and still did not get a hold of anyone who could help or the owner. The previous owners of my house gave me the direct contact for the owner of Crystal Clear Pools. When I called his cell phone he answered. I explained about the pump. He was very nice and told me he would be out in a few days to look at it. I asked if the warranty on the pump was transferable to me and he said it was. Neither the owner from the pool company or anyone else showed up. I called a week later and left a message. I did not hear back. About a week after that I called and the owner picked up again. He was just as nice as the first time I talked to him. He apologized for not coming about and assured me he would be out in a week. When he did not show up again I texted him (see uploaded screen shot) and he responded back. I asked him to be honest if he was going to show up. He assured me he would. He never got back to me and I told him I was moving forward without him. Its now been over a month. I never heard back from him. I was very polite and I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. He was always nice and assured me he would be out but his actions sadly showed me that he had no intention of looking at the problem. I had my pool company fix the issue. While working it they noticed Crystal Clear Pools plumbed the pool pump to where you could barely remove the cap to get the basket out of the pump (See picture). I do not like leaving bad reviews but feel I need to in this case. The owner has not provided quality work, service, or honesty to the previous owner or myself. There are a lot of pool companies in the area. I would try one of them before I would try Crystal Clear Pools.

We used ABA Pool Services for over a year before the reassigned our normal pool cleaner Toni to a…read moredifferent route. While they are very friendly, we became frustrated with the different crews showing up each week-- they left the gate open multiple times causing our dog to get out (despite signs and repeated reminders), and never clean the salt water system filter even after we showed it to them. This went on for about 9 months I would guess. The final straw was when they showed up to clean the pool while there was a painting crew present two weeks ago. They told the painters they would come back later but never returned. When we followed up with the office a few days later about when they were returning we were told they had already cleaned the pool, and provided us a photo as supporting evidence. I'm not sure who is responsible for that lie, however, we have two cameras pointed at our pool AND our gate monitoring company sends us texts every time someone on our list enters the neighborhood. Not to mention the pool was still visibly dirty with lots of leaves and debris. We moved on to a different company, it simply wasn't worth the hassle.

Over this time, I couldn't really find the one service that provided the level of service and quality that I wanted, until I met Jonathan from Ultra Blue Pool Service. I came home after a hard days work to find a green pool several times in the past month, I finally had to part ways with the company I was using. Jonathan came out to my house right away, assessed my pools needs and performed an emergency service on my pool. I first called Eagle Pools on 08/26/24 to get a quotation on a pool heater installation after doing…read moresearches online (Google/Yelp/BBB). George Gomes answered the phone and offered to come out to my house on 08/28/24- that day wasn't good for me, so George offered to come out same day (08/26/24) since I was already home. George turned up right near the beginning of the 3-4 p.m. window that he advised, he looked at our pool and pool accessories and discussed options with my wife and I. He answered all of our questions, he was not in a rush, and he explained whatever we didn't understand initially. We asked for a written quotation and got it later that same day. We previously made numerous phone calls and received other estimates and experiences as a reference. Eagle Pools was the best experience and so, it was a quick/easy decision to go with them. We made the 50% deposit on 08/27/24, the pool heater and concrete slab were delivered to our house on 08/28/24 for the 08/30/24 install that I requested. On the evening of 08/29/24, George let us know that the technicians would be at our house between 08:30-09:30 a.m. on 08/30/24. They were in my driveway at 08:45. They double-checked where we wanted to install the heater, discussed options and got to work. At 10:00 a.m. they were done. Initially, when they called me, I thought that they had a question or needed something. I was pleasantly surprised that they were calling me to give me a quick tutorial and to hand over the paperwork for the unit. We have lived in multiple states all over the U.S. and this experience would have been excellent anywhere. However, it stands out even more here in South Florida where people don't turn up when they say they will, or do what they said they would, or turn up without everything needed for the job. Eagle Pools turned up when they said they would, they did what they said they would at exactly the price that was quoted initially. The technicians turned up for the installation with all the parts and tools needed for the job. A few hours after the installation, I had questions about the unit and messaged George. Fifteen minutes later, he called me on a conference call with a technician and they answered all my questions. I haven't needed to call since. We are thoroughly impressed!

When they do finally come out to check the pool, they never follow up on the issue. They also did not install our heater correctly, per our new company the warranty would have been voided due to improper installation. I also asked for the anchors that were included with the purchase of the unit and they failed to respond. I will include a photo of our pool 4 days after they last "treated/cleaned" it.

The workmanship was so bad that we had to have another company come out and fix their mistakes. My suggestion, avoid at all cost
