We started Andy's pool cleaning service in March 2022 and he has been reliable and easy to communicate with.

a few years back i traded with pinch a penny pools in palm beach gardens fl . just about ever time…read morei went in i was told i needed chemicals, finally we had a diffierence of opinion about a $22.00 charge so i switched to pga pool supply in palm beach gardens. when i was dealing with pinch a penny i needed chmicals almost every time i had my pool i now trade with pga pools and my need for various chemical all the time went away. and my pool looks just as good now as it did when i was adding all the chemcalsi was told i needed before from pinch a penny. the conunter man at pga pool is bill he is always very helpfull and very knowable on pool maintenitance. i am now saving money and my pool looks very good without all the unnescessy chenmicals. i highly recommend pga pool and hope you get to meet bill, he will difinately help you and not waste your money. years ago pga pools did some repair worjk on my pool equipment and i found them to be very good and fair on thier prices. so i am sticking with pga pool supply they are fair and honest. within the next year or so i am going to need a replacement pump and filter system and i know that pga pool supply will be the people who supply and install the equipment i feel safe having them take care of my pool supplies and equipment. sorry for the upper case, i hit the cap lock key again, bad habit watching the keyboard not the monitor. someday maybe i will be able to type without looking at the keyboard, then again, i'm old, so maybe not. bobby b.

Palms Pool is a very reliable service. They do a great job with my pool…read more My pool guy comes every week without fail and keeps my pool in tip-top shape.

We purchased a home where the previous owners had been using Palms Pool, so we decided to continue…read morewith the company rather than start over with someone new. Initially, communication was decent. Jaelyn, the company's administrative staff member, was very friendly and somewhat explained the services they provided. It was challenging to get her on the phone as she preferred to text message. She told us that if we weren't happy after a few months, we could simply part ways and hire another company. Looking back, I should have recognized it as a warning sign when she mentioned they had hundreds of accounts but were understaffed, hence why her communication was inconsistent. But, because she seemed so friendly I decided to give Palms Pool a try. After moving into the home about a month later, we immediately noticed the pool had turned a shade of green and hazy--even though there had been no lapse in service between the previous owner and us. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning. Over the next two months, we had four different technicians service our pool. After reviewing our Ring camera footage and speaking with two of the technicians, it became clear that every technician was maintaining the pool differently. Most visits lasted no more than three minutes, and sometimes the technician didn't even bring the service cart to the backyard. One technician admitted he had no idea what type of pool system we had before simply pouring chlorine into the pool. Another added salt without testing the water first. When yet another technician finally tested the chemistry, she told us our chlorine level was approximately three times higher than it should have been. As a result, my skin was irritated for nearly two weeks, and we couldn't safely use our pool until the chemical levels returned to normal. One technician even expressed concern that the inconsistent maintenance could potentially damage our chlorinator. Beyond the water chemistry issues, many of the routine maintenance tasks outlined in the service agreement simply weren't being done. The pool surface often wasn't skimmed, and the tile line wasn't scrubbed. See pictures. Those items were only completed after I specifically called the company to complain. We gave Palms Pool multiple opportunities to correct these problems because we genuinely wanted the service to improve. Unfortunately, it never did. When we finally decided to cancel service, the experience became even more frustrating. Despite originally telling us we could discontinue service if we weren't satisfied, Jaelyn insisted we provide 30 days' notice and attempted to require us to pay for services we no longer wanted. It was completely inconsistent with what we had been told when we signed up. I also requested to speak with the owner, but despite that request, I never received a return phone call. I was able to find his number online. I left a voicemail and it was never returned. In the end, I spent more time calling and trying to fix problems than the company seemed to spend maintaining my pool. The inconsistent service, lack of quality control between technicians, poor communication when issues arose, and refusal to stand behind what was promised made this an incredibly frustrating experience. We left with a pool that wasn't properly maintained and the feeling that our concerns simply weren't valued. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Palms Pool.
