This Start Pool Cleaner showed up when I was not present, let himself in through the side gate, without any prior announcement, and proceeded to do the cleaning without ever being asked to do so. I found out two months later that I owed them for cleanings that were never agreed to, and the owner came and changed my filter without my presence, which might have been better had he made it known in advance the actual day and time so that I could be there to pay attention to it. I paid another pool service the same two months, so I was double charged by Star even though I did not sign any contracts, or even meet them in person.

I got even luckier as Stephen the owner picked up my phone call diagnosed the problem and fit me in at the end of his busy days to come fix it (pump's motor was shot.) He was at the warehouse when I called so he was able to get the new motor and a new timer ours hadn't been working for awhile. I had been stressing about the pool for more than a week as it wasn't running and turning green. He came out fixed the motor the timer and the flow switch which was also bad. He then gave me an education on the proper use of my pool and spa. Lastly he checked chemicals and fixed what I was missing. He is a small business that not only does what he says he is going to do but goes above and beyond. Without hesitation he will be my first call or recommendation when looking for pool service or repair!!!!

After doing much research into the various pool companies out there, we decided upon JMC Pool to do…read morethe job of completely resurfacing our pool and the surrounding patio area. We knew the job was going to be expensive but we also knew 'going cheap' on a job so big would not be wise. JMC came in at a very competitive price but what made them shine right from the start was their attentiveness to our questions and concerns. Gabriel was quick to respond at any hour. We had JMC completely resurface the pool, install and fit all new plumping. Install a saltwater system and travertine tile our complete deck. The work was completed in a timely fashion. The workers showed up early and left late. Gabriel came by several times to inspect the work and make a few adjustments after the fact until all parties were 100% satisfied that the pool was ready to go, even sending out a diver (twice) to fix an issue. My only negative point is the clean up after job completion could have been a little better. JMC pools are a family run business that appealed to me. They offer many pool post services too like sealing the deck, cleaning and maintaining the pool. They are doing my brother-in-law's pool next!
