We have worked with Moris 3 times since we bought our house a year ago and I can't more highly recommend him. He is good at communicating, does great work, is easy to get ahold of and does a wide variety of jobs. He monitors his workers closely and has always been willing to make the minor changes which inevitably are needed on any project. He pays close attention to detail and has very high-quality work. Perhaps most importantly of all he has very reasonable rates and we have on 2 occasions compared his quotes with others. We have had numerous projects over the past two years ranging from a simple light fixture change, to installing new recessed lights in a 20 feet ceiling room, to reinforcing the ceiling to hang a heavy crystal chandelier with about 100 crystals which he had to assemble. We've had so many projects and Moris has provided solutions to all our electrical needs. Moris and his crew are reliable, punctual, and has outstanding results. He also has multiple contacts with sub-contractors so that when there are holes in the walls after an electrical installation, he has the people to fix the holes with drywall, texture, and paint. We highly recommend using Moris Aguirre (MJA Construction) for any of your remodeling projects. When our home was built oak cabinetry was the style of the day. Which now needed to be updated. Moris and his crew were responsible for the complete demolition of our kitchen, wallboard installation, all electrical and plumbing, and all painting and stain work. The oak built in bookcase was painted white and the oak bar cabinetry was stained with a dark stain. The finished work is amazing. Moris is the most knowledgeable, honest, and responsible contractor I know and my neighbors who have worked with him also say the same things about him. I worked with him first when I had my loft built in our house 3 years ago and he was in charge of the project. He was not only skilled in his job, but he was knowledgeable in all areas of construction that his boss had to constantly refer to him for advice. When the project was done, he looked into areas that weren't part of his assigned job and fixed our old window screens, at no charge. And I later found out from my neighbor, that he frequently goes above and beyond to provide other kind acts and repairs around the house as well. The second time I worked with him, I had not known earlier of his new company and had hired another contractor, who had come into our home and broke the fire sprinkler line and caused water damage. Our relations did not go very smoothly and we came to question the soundness of his work and consulted Moris to make sure that all work is being done to standards. He was very thorough and knowledgeable in pointing out flaws as well as giving us many tips in dealing with a stressful situation and without his advice, we would have been at a big loss.
