I came in with my mother to get a prevacation manicure and full set. I had made the appointment a couple weeks prior and when I came in it was obvious that they had not been actually prepared for my appointment. Mom and I were advised to wait, which we did - about 15 minutes for her and then 20-25 minutes for me. My mom had come in with her own nail polish color but the manicurist seemed to not want to use it and so she talked my mom into getting shellac. Mom picked a color, which apparently they did not have. Instead of telling her this they decided to combine two of the nail polishes to create something "similar". Mom wasn't very happy with it, but because she didnt want to ruin my experience didnt make a big deal of it at the time. The shellac was done poorly, and within a couple days was chipping and then by the end of the week it just peeled completely off. She would have been better off with the OPI nail polish she brought in. We could not go back to get it fixed as we were already out of town for vacation. I got a full set done and I'll be honest I really liked how they looked. I came in with a couple of different pictures which i showed to them and after a bit of repeated explaining they came out looking like how I hoped. Unfortunately the polish started chipping off them as well, within a couple of days. It is also worth stating that even though they had a check in offer for 10% off any service, I was told that they "didnt do yelp" and was treated to quite the story about them having yelp mark them as closed as retaliation for something or other. They ended up giving me the 10% off, but I'll be honest it wasn't worth the hassle that it caused. I may come back if I want a very detailed design, as they seem to do a lot of them and well. I don't think I'll come back if I want just want regular nails done though as they seem to not last long and they are pricey. ------- Follow up after the business owners response to the original review (that is before the line) below: 1) This is not a hospital - it's a nail salon. I don't expect to wait 20+ minutes for an appointment I booked 2 weeks ahead of time. 2) I go to a manicurist to get a manicure done, not to buy nail polish. It does not effect your bottom line to use my nail polish. In fact it helps you because you aren't using up your product. 3) It has not been a couple of months since my appointment. My appointment was Wednesday December 8th and I returned home on December 18th from my vacation. Then there was Christmas and the New Years holidays. I do not need to post reviews immediately for them to be valid. 4) You didn't take it off Yelp at the time of my appointment. That is why I knew of it's existence obviously. I do acknowledge that not everything revolves around me, however I am the customer, who is dissatisfied with the service I received. Instead of attacking and mocking me, send me a message privately on this platform like a good business owner and take your pride out of the equation. They are not exactly rude just not personable if they don't know you... I take my daughter in she loves them or I swear I would never step foot in the door they was harsh on my nails and they didn't last so if you go ask for Miya also my pedicure was amazing lasted a long time and super soft!!! Her husband is a hot mess and I mean that with all do respect he's funny all up in the buisness... I would have also like to sit on the couch comfortably reading my book while waiting for my baby without getting kicked in the back several times by the cutest lil girl ever laying on the couch!!! Not my spot at all! But my baby likes it and until she can drive we will be bringing her she spends her own money so it is very well her choice read more

Wowie Zowie, this was an experience. Ashley was wanting a pedicure and she has been working so hard lately and it was my b-day weekend so why not! We choose Hot Stone and Nails off University! We were seated immediately to soak our feet in hot water. Then asked if we wanted to normal pedi for 30 bucks or the deluxe for 45! I'm always like GO BIG and GO HOME or GO Big and Go Broke, so we went for the broke! 2 hours later we were just finishing up our pedi's! I'm serious it was crazy the amount of time we spent, I had to get to a fantasy football draft! I was getting worried, but while I was getting worried I was also getting hot towels, a long leg massage, hot stones, shiny toe nails, feet scrubs, the whole works! The people doing the pedi's were very attentive and it was definitely a family affair with kids running around and making the place fun to be in! 80's radio was pumping, they had a tv, and the chairs did some crazy bumping back massages! We were offered water or wine when we sat down as well! I recommend this place and I would say go all in with the deluxe but make sure you have at least over an hour to kill! read more

Don't promote walk ins if you aren't going to accept walk ins! It totally defeats the purpose. It's false advertising for one and two to laugh at potential customers is unprofessional and down right disgusting. They definitely need to work on there customer service. read more

This is the only place I will get my nails done! They know my voice when I call and already know what services I want and like. They also seem to know something is wrong when I come in in a bad mood...maybe I come here too much. I could spend my money on worse things! $45 for the deluxe pedicure and $35 for the acrylic gel manicure! They also have paraffin wax treatment for you feet for $7 and $5 for your hands I believe. I've only had the foot treatment but it's beyond amazing.They have newly remodeled the main salon area and it's clean, airy and the perfect, relaxing aesthetic you want for getting your nails done! read more

We made an appointment for 4 people a day in advance bc we knew it'd be rude to come in as walk ins. When we arrived there were two nail technicians. we waited 30 minutes for them to finish up the previous clients. We were there from 2-5. I wish more technicians would have been there bc we essentially had to go one at a time. I got an acrylic set with gel polish. The final product looked good, however I went through hell to get them. My cuticles: destroyed. Filed down to the point of bleeding (next day update: they still hurt.) Thankfully my polish went on even. However one member of our group wasn't so lucky and has splotchy gel coverage. They also had their cuticles destroyed. I'm used to paying $45 for a full set, but only if the experience is A+. This one was B- at best and still charged for a top notch experience. The atmosphere was also iffy. Looked like every other nail salon in a strip mall, only slightly more run down. Not a glamorous experience, but probably not a health hazard. TLDR: if you're okay with being in pain 70% of the appointment, don't mind the chance your manicure will either suck or be fine, are willing to overpay, and have 3 hours to kill- this is the place for you. read more

Highly recommend! My sister-in-law and I went here this evening for a mani-pedi. Both of us are infrequent visitors of any nail salon, but had such a great time! We enjoyed chatting with the two ladies that took care of us. We went in with an appt and got helped right away. The massage chairs are AWESOME! I called for an appointment over my lunch break and rushed out of my office 5 minutes away to get there right on time. I was given a seat with water to soak and other than that was not told anyone would be helping me. I continued to wait for 20 more minutes after my appointment and at this time had eaten into half of my one hour lunch break and had to ask for a towel and get up and leave- 25 minutes later and they still were not ready for me. I wish I would have been that time wouldn't work for an appointment and I could have come later instead of wasting my whole lunch break driving there, waiting and ultimately not getting a pedicure at all which I thought I had worked out perfectly into my schedule. read more
