I have had my nails done at Premier Nail Salon before and have had nothing but great experiences, however, last night's pedicure experience was unfortunately not as enjoyable/relatable as my previous ones.
I brought my 3 year old daughter with me for a pedicure because yesterday was my birthday and this was a gift to celebrate this so I brought my daughter along with me for her first time.
I realize the Premier closes at 7:30pm, so out of courtesy I called at 5:45pm to see if they could fit my daughter and I in for a pedicure still. The person I talked to said "yes as long as you are here by 6:30pm". We arrived there at 6:20pm, and we were immediately asked to pick out a color for our nails-I was not a huge fan of this, the other previous times I was able to sit down in the chair and look at the colors so I wasn't rushed to find one.
I chose the deluxe pedicure (I usually do the classic but since it was my birthday I upgraded to the next one up).
The gentleman that did my daughter's pedicure did a wonderful job, they soaked her feet, the scrubs, nail trim, paint. 10/10 for her first experience-they even gave her a juice box. It was truly special for her & I really do appreciate that part of this experience.
However, with that said, my pedicure felt extremely rushed...as if the employees were in a huge rush to get out of there. I don't understand why they acted like they were closing at 7pm when everything clearly states 7:30 is closing...
My pedicure started at 6:30 and was done at 6:55-7pm...when I did the classic previous times it was nothing short of a 45-60 minute experience total. It felt like every step of it he was in a huge hurry. I was even approached by another gentleman halfway through my pedicure asking for my name, it looked like he was ready to have me checkout. I could see workers cleaning, sweeping around, turning lights off in other areas and this made my feel unwanted, and as if they were closing and wanting us to leave...even though we paid a significant amount of money for this. Also during the pedicure, I asked if they could use the heavy duty callus scraper (they have used this every single time before) and he said "no we don't use that anymore".
When I got home and looked at my pedicure, I was really upset. It just looked "messy" to me, it was nothing compared to previous pedicures. You can tell that it was rushed. Even the color was disappointing and I blame just on being pressured/rushed to pick one when we first walked in.
I am upset because I really want to come back here again with my daughter, but after paying $100 + $20 tip, we will not be returning here for futures pedicures unless they are willing to make up for this negative experience.
My advice to them, if you want to be out of there by 7pm, change your hours. It was not the birthday experience I had hoped for and it makes me really upset. As a busy working mom of 3 toddlers, I was really looking forward to this, and they let me down. read more
