I had the chicken ramen it was good but needed more seasoning. Next time I will try the sushi. Customer service was good and the ambiance was welcoming. Great place for lunch or dinner.

Happy your options for sushi are plenty but not great. We didn't end up choosing anything from the happy hour menu cuz they either had cream cheese or something fried. We did opt for the sashimi lover app, and it was sooo good. Super fresh. Highly recommend the miyako special maki!! Our waitress was super kind, friendly, and patient.

Miyako is a staple in Houston for so many years. I miss the days of Miyako Bucks. Sushi is always delicious and fresh. Love their kitchen food as well. We ordered the Garlic Edamame, Beef Sashimi, and Pork Pan Fried Gyozas as appetizers. Then the New York Maki, S & M Maki, Crunchy Maki and Chilago Maki. Service is good and attentive for ice tea refills. Miss the days with the traditional seating called Zashiki, featuring low tables on tatami mats, providing an intimate, traditional feel, but require removing shoes. Miyako has since removed this type of seating. Still a great place for Japanese food.

Omg the food at Miyako is delicious, i usually get their Shrimp yaki ramen bowl and i order extra sauce, can't remember the name. I look forward to visiting again! Their menu is very affordable.

This is a big restaurant with plenty of seating indoor only. My party came during lunch and it wasn't crowded. We got a table immediately. There were so many options to choose from the menu. There was a limited happy hour menu too whole every Saturday and Sunday. Some food we ordered were tiger eye maki, crunchy maki, kamikaze maki, s & m maki, Mardi Gras maki, Miyako special maki, scallop nigiri, and unagi nigiri. We also had the happy hour drinks; son of a peach, lemon drop, candy crush, and water my melon. All our rolls were great. We had no complaints, only praises for the delicious food. The drinks were good too but mine weren't strong enough. My drinks tasted kinda watered down. We received excellent service today. Our waitress kept checking on us, and she serviced with a smile. Parking isn't an issue here since there is a big parking lot at the front. There is additional parking at the back of the strip mall too. I will come back again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time here with fellow yelpers! We ordered a spread of sushi and it did not disappoint! They gave us a special Saturday and Sunday menu that was more like a happy hour menu, which had great prices! They had some creative cocktails - I ordered Water My Melon. It was sweet and tart and I could taste the strawberry flavor more than the watermelon! I specifically ordered the Miyako Special roll. I like rolls that are more on the plain side and this fit the bill. It was made with tuna, salmon and avocado. That was delicious along with the crispy tuna roll from the regular menu. I had this at another restaurant but this one was completely fried so that it was super crunchy on the outside. Sooo delicious! The other roll I tried was the S & M Maki. Also very good! I only ate one of those but wanted more! The sushi here is delicious and I love the variety of the happy hour menu. We stayed for a few hours and the staff was super friendly, continuing to check on us to make sure we were ok the entire time. Definitely coming back!

The service was great. The sushi was wonderful. The ramen was mediocre with very little flavor even with adding spice. The alcoholic drinks were smaller than expected. It was Friday so parking was limited.

Chicken Udon, S&M Maki, Sweet potato tempura, mussles in half shell roll

Miyako Sushi was absolutely amazing! I had tempura vegetables, chicken don't soup, mussels in half-shell roll, and S&M maki. Everything was so fresh the tempura was perfectly crispy, the S&M maki was flavorful and expertly rolled, and the mussels in half hell roll was incredible. Every bite was a delight. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality sushi in Houston!

Definitely, one of the best Japanese Cuisine restaurants to dine-in, in the Houston area. Cleanliness = check Ambiance = check Food =One menu item form me was a little misleading in the naming. For instance the name of the Cauliflower dish could be bettered suited as Fried Cauliflower instead of Cauliflower fries, you be the judge by the pic. Service, gets a deduction on this visit. Here's why it's important to know your dishes and remember when a guest says they eat vegan. Having to send dishes back because of the ingredients can be a little disheartening and takes away from that first prepared delivery of the dish for a do-over. However the food is always great, I just hope to see more vegan options on the menu, upon my next visit. Unless, I find better fried rice, they are stuck with me. Until next time, Bye-Bye!

I came for lunch on a Saturday and it was super busy so the service was a bit slow. It took a while for our water and for our server to come and take our order. I ordered the Lunch Special Nigiri Sushi and Noodle Set and got 6 pieces of salmon nigiri with udon noodle soup. The salmon nigiri was fresh and buttery and so delicious! The serving size of the udon was a lot bigger than I anticipated so I feel like I got my money's worth. I definitely recommend coming for the lunch specials since they're good value.

After being seated, I informed the waiter that I would place a to-go order instead. About 20 minutes later, our food was ready. At that point, our daughter woke up, so we hoped to continue dining in as originally planned. I politely asked the waiter if we could finish our meal there. We didn't expect him to continue serving us--we simply wanted to sit and eat the food we had ordered. I had already tipped him on the to-go order. His response was blunt and shocking: "No, you have to leave. The table was given to someone else for a 7:30 reservation." There was no attempt to find a solution or offer an alternative--just a direct order to leave. This was a Thursday night, the restaurant was not busy, and there were outdoor tables and other seating available. We felt incredibly insulted by the attitude. When we spoke to the manager, he simply repeated that the table was reserved and backed up the waiter, without suggesting another table or even asking us to wait for the next available one, until we brought up the point that he could have asked if we have an option to wait for the next table?? Then the manager went ok do you want to have another table just because we asked. What stood out most wasn't the reservation issue, but the complete lack of hospitality, flexibility, or basic courtesy. This experience spoke volumes about the customer service here, and unfortunately, it's the reason we won't be returning.

They let us in early so we didn't have to stand out in the cold. The restaurant is small and quiet, with the sushi bar in the middle, where it's easy to see everything is made. We opted for the sashimi special, the takoyaki, the 4 season roll, and the gyu suji. The sashimi special was delicious, great cuts, nice and tender. The 4 season roll was also great, with good cuts of fish, not too fishy. The takoyaki was perfectly crispy with a good filling and just the right amount of octopus. We accidentally let the gyu suji sit out too long so it got cold and gelatinous, but they were super nice about reheating it for us. It ended up not being for me, beef tendon is just a bit too cartilaginous for me. Overall, a great experience! Will definitely need to be back!

Grab one of each if you're planning on ordering sushi/ sashimi related items. If you're wanting the non- sushi items, there's a menu next to it too and at the ordering counter that you'll see once you get past the first set of doors. Pretty much everything is self serve (after you order and pay of course) so napkins, utensils, water, soups are for your enjoyment! So my suggestion is to get a table (if you can) and then order at the counter but if it's too packed, togo is still an option. I came by myself on a Friday at 5pm and it was definitely bustling but not overcrowded. Tables were clean and there was enough space between each table/booth. Food came out pretty quickly too and I was able to go back and forth for miso soup at least two or three times. If I had to rank my favorite of the four items I ordered: 1. Smoked Salmon 2. Scallop Handrolls 3. Salmon 4. Oyakudon All were wonderful but the smoked salmon and scallop handrolls are the two pieces that I've been trying to search around Houston for what I think is the best. Not quite starstruck but definitely hit the spot. Final rating: I'd love to come back and try their other menu options when I'm in the area and craving quick casual bites

The service was pretty good, when we went there was only one waitress but she did a good job bouncing between us and the other patrons. We were served a miso soup as an appetizer and it had a nice flavor but I wish there was a little bit more tofu and seaweed in it. The agedashi tofu was standard, I wish that they had brought the tofu on a separate dish from the broth as it was soggy by the time it reached our table. The tempura udon noodles had good texture and the broth was good although slightly sweet. My main gripe with this dish is the lack of tempura served with it. You get three pieces of shrimp and one vegetable but in our case it was two pieces of shrimp and a nori piece. :( The pork katsu curry was good but not quite what I expected. I really appreciate that the curry had beef and some veggies in it and a nice hearty flavor, but it felt more like a sauce and not a curry. The pork was a little dry and I wish I had more pickled veggies but over all not a bad dish. I would definitely come back here again but keep in mind the parking lot is SMALL so you may need to park elsewhere and walk over.

I recently opted for the Diamond AYCE set, and it was hands-down one of the best dining experiences I've had.  The Diamond tier is worth every penny. It unlocks the entire menu, giving you access to the most premium cuts and decadent sides. Here is the breakdown of why this spot is a must-visit: The Meat & Seafood * Japanese A5 Wagyu: The star of the show. The marbling is incredible, and it literally melts the moment it hits your tongue.  * Australian & American Wagyu: Even the "lower" tier meats here are exceptional. The ribeye and brisket were fresh, tender, and flavorful.  * Premium Seafood: The Diamond set includes a fresh seafood platter featuring succulent lobster (Boston and Norway), sweet shrimp, and sashimi-grade salmon that was incredibly fresh.  Signature Sides & Appetizers The Diamond set isn't just about the pot; the appetizers are high-end restaurant quality: * Wagyu Bone Marrow: Rich, creamy, and decadent--a rare find for an AYCE spot.  * Foie Gras Toast & Wagyu Nigiri: These elevated starters set the tone for a luxury meal. * Truffle Wagyu Beef Don: If you have any room left, this bowl is packed with umami. The Atmosphere & Service The service is top-notch. The staff is attentive, constantly refilling broths (the Sukiyaki and Spicy Miso are personal favorites) and clearing empty plates without you ever having to flag them down.
