Ordering at the screen was simple, and our food came out quickly. I got the Cuban Burrito Bowl, which was a filling bowl with my choice of a kale + quinoa/brown rice base. The sweet plantains were delicious, but the rest of the bowl was pretty bland in terms of flavors, especially the vegan ropa vieja, which I came in expecting more from. It's great that this place is plant-based and vegan-friendly, but I just wished it had stronger flavors and/or a better price point.

It is located in a small strip center right next to a major apartment complex. I was pet sitting in the apartments so I would stop by after a shift to get some acai. Let me tell you, these acai bowls are amazing. Many times açaí bowls are made in what I would call smoothie fashion - very runny, like someone just put a smoothie in a bowl and called it a day. But this açaí was creamy and tart, like a sherbet, and they were very generous with toppings. They use natural sugars (honey, etc) so it still felt light even though there was a ton of fiber and filling toppings. I miss Liv's! Hopefully I can visit again if I'm in the area.

Service was friendly and helpful, we got everything we needed and within a reasonable time. For appetizers we ordered the banh khot which were tasty and crispy, the shrimp tasted fresh. The meat included in the platter were all deliciously flavored and cooked nicely. It came with fresh lettuce and herbs to pair with the meat. Our table also ordered a clay pot catfish which was caramelized in a tasty sauce that paired perfectly with the plain white rice. Overall, this is a good place for a meal with family or friends. The seating is comfortable and the restaurant interior is clean and nicely decorated.

I used to be obsessed with the NU Kitchen in Newburyport and would detour just to pick up breakfast, lunch and dinner for the day, because I loved their food so much. I understand the cost of ingredients has gone up but this is not a fast food location of a chipotle - so it's not expected to see them cutting back on all the essentials that make these bowls more premium and healthy and nutritious.
