I helped a friend move over the weekend and this was our experience with Mixons: As advertised on the business page, I expected that the company would show up on time and transport her items safely. They arrived 2 hours after the scheduled time, and multiple items arrived damaged and were reassembled incorrectly and unsafely. (Refrigerator damaged, baby cribs broken and unsafe, entertainment stand broken, flooring damaged, walls and railings damaged.) After leaving for the day, they sent a second invoice for an extra 2 hours of labor. On the phone after telling him all of the damages and unhappiness, he then said "if the invoice is not paid, you would be stealing services". We never once said that he was not getting paid. We said, "I'll get back to you on that" as it was very late in the day at that point. When the invoice was not immediately paid, the owner then began sending threats of parking the U-Haul truck outside of her house until the money was received. Mind you, at this time 24hrs after the services rendered haven't even passed. We are now at harassment level. My friend is now uncomfortable staying in her own home as this man may show up at any time. She should not have to feel unsafe in her home over some movers.. This "company" is incredibly unprofessional, sloppy, and just plain rude. Ps: YES they were paid their extra invoice, but it should have NEVER gotten to this point. read more

Where do I begin....do NOT hire this guy. Showed up 5 HOURS late! His excuse? He couldn't get a truck. Seems to me if you're running a moving business and you don't own your own truck, you should at least have a confirmed rental when you book a job. By the time we were done it was nearly midnight. Scratched our custom built mahogony TV stand, scratched the heck out of a major appliance (black atainless). When we asked for compensation off of the bill, his response was he would submit to his insurance. Guess what? HE DOESN'T HAVE INSURANCE! We ended up going to court, got a judgement and still have not gotten our compensation. He did however bad mouth us on social media so beware. Hire literally anyone else!! read more
