We recently had DC Appliance Repair look at our refrigerator/freezer. I'm so glad we found them. They're a very professional company -- answer the phone on the first ring, answer your questions professionally, send you a text to confirm your appointment, provide you with clear information so you can make the best decision for your situation (no pushing you into a repair), leave you with some information, and email you afterwards. We're very happy and our only regret is we didn't find these people sooner. We'll definitely use them again in the unfortunate event something happens with one of our appliances. read more

Nathan came to my home to repair my 4 year old Frigidaire Gallery Stove. After an initial inspection , he determined it needed a chip replacement. The stove ended up needing 2 chips replaced. Nathan was great and took the time to explain every step. He even helped my son, who was in a minor accident while leaving our home. Nathan checked on my son as well as the car! Definitely not in his job description! Thanks, DC Appliance Repair for hiring Nathan! He is an amazing technician and person! read more

I hired D.C. Appliance repair to fix a leaking refrigerator. I was able to schedule next day service which was nice. The technician, Andrew, was very nice, polite and professional. He was able to diagnose the problem just by me explaining it to him and had the problem fixed in under an hour. That is great service. Most appliance repair companies charge an initial house call with either a half hour or hour labor. Parts are always extra. Their housecall fee was the lowest I could fine plus they provide an hour of labor included. Lowest price plus great service. Will definitely use their company again. Highland recommended. read more

DC Repair is a dream come true. About 17 years ago DC Repair replaced the control panel on my new Kitchen Aid dishwasher due to unit malfunction. Fast forward to today when DC Repair replaced the motor on this now 17 year old dishwasher. Dominic, the tech, is well mannered, thorough and very bright. He knows what he is doing and gets the job done. As a bonus he fixed the dishwasher door so it no longer squeaks. Hooray! Thank you, Dominic! My "new" dishwasher is running great!!! Hope I get another 17 years... read more

Fantastic experience: I made an appointment online which was set for the following day. I got a confirmation with a window as to when the repair person would arrive. He called an hour prior to showing onsite. He was kind and professional. Gave an estimate for the repair and fixed my dryer in less than an hour. Side note - I'm fairly positive I called this company years ago to repair the same dryer. They did not service the manufacturer at the time. I reached out this time around in desperation thinking my appointment would be cancelled. Point being - if you've called this company and they declined service on your appliance, you might want to reach out again. read more

Called this service as I used them several years ago for a problem with my refrigerator. Very good experience. Now...... Called June 8th,2026 for a dryer concern. According to their web page they repair washers, dryers and other appliances. Employee kept say we don't do vents, no vent etc. why isn't the repair of dryers more qualified. Plus she could not give me another company that could help. I was dissatisfied and disappointed with this abrupt conversation with this person. Totally unprofessional. Ruth S. read more

Excellent service! The technician arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and clearly explained what needed to be repaired. The washing machine was fixed efficiently, and it's working perfectly again. I appreciated the professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail. They left the work area clean and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing washing machine repair. read more

Very professional & thorough. We've had a continuous problem With a fairly new & very expensive refrigerator. Robert, the repairman, was very honest & clearly explained everything, not just to us, but to the manufacturer as well read more

They got back to me quickly. Quote was good and honest based on the information I gave Them. Found out the control board, which was probably the problem, was discontinued as a replacement part. An after market part was possible available but I was concerned out it's durability. So I decided to replace my 15 yr. old stove rather than repair it. read more

The tech was here as scheduled on time. Gave us wonderful advice, and solved our issue in 5 minutes. This company is the epitome of customer service. Honest, trust worthy, and extremely knowledgeable. Don't use any other repair service. DC Appliance is the only company you should call. Customer service still exists out there. DC Appliance is it. read more

Had a great experience with them after my brand new fridge was making a bad knocking sound and kitchenaid contracted with them to fix it. They had to make a few trips out to try and troubleshoot based on feedback from kitchen-aid but they were very pleasant each time coming out. They also take the time to explain what the fix is and why they are doing it which I really liked so I can keep track of the repairs. They have a good system in place to confirm your appointment the day before and they even call when they are on the way to your house (because you are given a larger window where they can come example between 10-2) so you can be ready for their arrival. I even had to call the office to check on part status and had a great customer service experience. read more

Very pleased with this company! Requesting service was effortless through their website. Unlike some companies that don't seem to pay attention to their emails or web requests, this one promptly scheduled service for a date of my choosing. Their robo-call confirmed the night before and gave me an arrival window. The technician, Robert, was extremely professional and helpful. He called when he was on his way and gave me his ETA. He very quickly diagnosed my issue and gave me honest advice about how to proceed - repair or buy a new unit? He also gave me advice on how to improve efficiency - not a service his company can even provide, but he told me how to do it myself. A part needed to be ordered but they received it within only a couple days and Robert was back out later that week to complete the job. The whole thing cost me $249 for parts and labor. I found this to be a very fair fee. I have much peace of mind having this company in my back pocket for future appliance repairs. read more

The tech wasn't able to fix the ice maker . Came to the house 3 times, 3 days in a row and never resolved the issue. The problem was misdiagnosed and we're out of 120.00. FYI.. they charges us 100.00 for 20 minutes of labor! The receptionist was rude also, kept talking over me. I would not recommend them. read more

This company provides a great service. You'll only ever need them in an emergency, but then you will be happy. They fix appliances. I'm my case an oven. Which was new. Or pretty new anyway. I did have a warrant, so it was all covered. They could not come immediacy, but came within a few days. The man was great. Super pleasant. And knew a lot. Was able to get my oven fixed quickly and even told me how to better care for it. Call them if you have n issue. Youll be happy. read more

I called DC Appliance Repair and the next day someone came out. Gary was my technician and he was great. Beside coming in and getting right to work, he was clean and very organized. He did the work on a Maytag washer and afterwards we talked for several minutes about our pets. Very down to earth guy. So far, washer seems to be working just great. Thanks Gary!! read more

Dominic got here quickly after I called about a cold dryer. He is very presentable and knowledgeable about his subject. He displayed the trouble and explained the alternatives, one of which was to replace the unit. Fortunately his first alternative worked and we have a happy dryer. Thanks to DC Appliance and Dominic for a good job well done. read more

The repair man who came to look at my dishwasher was here less than 15 minutes and told me I needed a new wash pump and it would be about a $400.00 repair plus the service fee of 128.00. I paid the service call fee and decided to get a second estimate. Today I spent $120.00 for a diagnostic test which rebooted the dishwasher and it works fine. I am really disappointed that the service tech did not take the time to do a diagnostic test. I am glad that I second guessed the issue. The dishwasher is less than two years old. I would like my money back on the service call, however, I don't feel like bothering due to the poor service. I am doubtful I would get it. If it doesn't seem right, get a second opinion. I would not contact this company again. read more

Ok, sit tight for a minute. The fridge made a knocking sound and didn't hold the temp so I called for the repair. The repair guy was nice and prompt but one hour after he left the BRAND NEW WHIRLPOOL FRIDGE started knocking again. REALLY FRIGGIN LOUD. I called DC and the woman said I had to leave the fridge on for 24 hours so they could correctly diagnose the issue. I said that I have little kids and no one could sleep if I left it on. (Please believe me when I say it was heard through the bedrooms which are near the kitchen. ) she would not say it was unrepairable or ask Whirlpool to help me get an exchange. HOW MANY TIMES AM I OBLIGATED TO HAVE THE REPAIR GUY COME OUT? Do I really need to lose sleep ? I have kids taking Regents tests at school this week! And I've been without a working fridge since 6/2/23. No one cares folks, especially this company. read more

Chris was our service tech on a Whirlpool side- by-side refrigerator that was making a noticeably loud noise from the interior. The service appointment was scheduled quickly and Chris was very prompt. He analyzed the problem quickly, ordered a replacement part and scheduled a return visit for installation. I am thrilled with the quick response from DC appliance. Rob was on time and did a great job explaining the issue to me. Thanks so much!

I've been using this service company for years for both warranty and out of warranty service. They're knowledgeable and reliable. On time and friendly. In the past, I've been forced to use other services for warranty appliances and they don't even rate. I'd never use another appliance repair service ever again. Well done DC Appliance! read more

One day's response? Try 7 to 10 days. Only to tell me they had to order the part and back on the list I go for another 7 to 10 days. It was not over then either. My 18-month-old Whirlpool refrigerator appeared to be a mystery to the repairman until he went back to his vehicle to check it out. That's when he informed me I would have to wait for another 7 to 10 days to have it repaired. Yes, they had to order the part, however, that was not the reason for the wait, their backlog was the reason. That was the first visit and I was 10 days without a fridge. At this point, we are living out of a cooler. We waited for service for another 9 days. The serviceman came only to tell us we would have to go back on the list. The part was damaged in transit. Because of the backlog, it would be another 9 days for service. I angrily agreed and called the office only to find out the manager was not available. I have some experience as a service manager in a bustling business and drawing on that experience I can tell you how this should have gone. The first appointment should have taken priority over any "check my thermostat", of "My timer setting in not correct" repairs. The appliance not working at all trumps minor convenience calls. The tech was only here for 20min and should have been able to make the rest of his calls for that day. The part can be overnighted to the appliance shop. Once the part was delivered to the appliance shop service should have been within one day. When it was discovered that the part was damaged it should have been reordered overnight and repairs should be made the next day. This all could have been over in 10 to 12 days even with the damaged part. Instead, unless the missing manager calls me back, it will take nearly 30 days in the hottest part of this summer to have the fridge working. I am a patient person however there is a limit and this is it. D.C.Appliance repair does not deserve a 5 Starr rating. The service I received is not putting the customer first. UPDATE: I called the manager back and he did move the service date up. It will be another 3 days for service. Better than 9 days and at least he cared about the customer enough to take positive action. read more

I was in the Darien Lake area working on show and our portable wardrobe washer broke down. I literally cold called DC Appliance Repair from a Google search and within 90 minutes Dom was at our work site and fixed our washing machine. Repair technician appeared promptly as scheduled and diagnosed what was patently obvious, a blown baking element in our Maytag range's oven. In spite of knowing the make and symptoms beforehand, the tech did not show up with a replacement element. Told us it would be a week to get the part and the total would be a little over $370 Plus tax! When I pointed out that going another week without an oven was a hardship and that I could order a replacement part and get it in 24 hours the reply was that, "We can only use authorized parts." I paid for the service call ($128.47 with tax) and right after he left I ordered a new element (genuine Maytag part, $79) to be delivered next day (they wanted $125 for the part). I'll do the work myself and will have a working oven by tomorrow. Their prices are top of the line. I am willing to pay top dollar for top service. This was not that. A week without an oven is simply not acceptable, "Because they can only use authorized parts" and it shows me how little they regard their customers' needs. This especially burns me since I was able to order an OEM replacement part for immediate delivery. Grrrrrrrrrr. We are not satisfied and will avoid using them for appliance service going forward. read more

My diswasher rack broke..a week before Christmas. I tried to fix it myself, but just couldn't. I found DC Appliance online, and the website made it so easy to make an appointment. They confirmed and then followed up with another email. The night before my service call I received a message giving me a window of when they would arrive, and the service man called me as he was driving to the house. After a short while he knew what part had broken and, although he didn't have the part with him, he made a special trip to meet another truck that did have the part. I was thrilled that Joe went to the extra trouble of going out of his way so that Christmas would be saved (just a small part of Christmas, but still wonderful !) Joe was very friendly and professional, making the appointment was easy and they arrived right on time. I'm a happy customer. read more

The technician/repairman Rob arrived on time and immediately put on booties over his shoes. He was extremely polite and went right to work to fix the LED lighting system in our Kitchenaid refrigerator. He was able to complete the job in less than 45 minutes! I do not hesitate to recommend DC Appliance Repair to anyone who reads this review and will definitely call them again when the need arises. read more

Recently my dishwasher that I bought from Orville's 1-1/2 years ago stopped working. Got an error message (Er). I called DC to come out to look at it. I've used them in the past. This time, Wayne came out to look at my dishwasher. I knew I would have to pay the 129.36 fee for them to show up and diagnose the problem, but that would not include any repairs. Wayne told me there was a problem with dishwasher control panel and the part and labor would be $450. I said I would not pay that and I would get a new dishwasher. So I went to Home Depot to buy a new dishwasher and it was was delivered on 04/13. While the two men were going to install the dishwasher, the man taking out the old one asked me WHY I was getting a new dishwasher and I told him what Wayne at DC had told me that I needed a new part that would cost $450! This man told me that there was nothing wrong with the control panel, that there were a few wires loose (he showed me) and should be in a cap and he thought that's all that's was wrong with it (Orville's installer did not do it properly). Sure enough, he took care of the problem and suggested I return the new dishwasher for a full refund, which I did!! I am furious that Wayne didn't see this (it was obvious) and was going to try to RIP me off for an expensive repair that I didn't need! I WILL NEVER CALL DC APPLIANCE REPAIR AGAIN and I would not recommend them to anyone. This was a simple repair that an installer found and he could have just installed the new dishwasher and taken the old one (1-1/2 years) away and not even mentioned it. I appreciate his honesty!! Again, I will never call DC for any repair!! The installer for Home Depot saved me hundreds of dollars by being honest!! read more

Rob fixed our dishwasher fast and effectively. The first repair man misdiagnosed the issue. But Rob came out, figured it out, made sure it was working.
