Here is the story: My furnace stopped working on the Christmas Day, due to a pressure switch issue. Called around town, only Roy replied my phone call, and scheduled a visit first thing next morning. Then early in the morning, Chris called me before arrival, and ran diagnostic immediately. He confirmed my speculation and it was indeed because of a bad pressure switch. He changed that quickly, meanwhile, gave me some education about my 18-year old furnace and parts, how to maintain it and Check for signs of issues. Everything was done within less than 1 hour. Lastly, the bill was not that expensive as I experienced before, given such an emergency call after Christmas. Parts cost is comparable to those online or local shop, labor fee is reasonable. I shared my story of being extorted for the same issue with 2-3 times of the cost compare to Gamin's, Chris said "we don't do this type of stuff, wanna make sure customer are happy and comfortable living in their house, and we can sleep well at night.". This is the most unforgettable part of this experience.

Of course, we considered some different options, but thankfully, we didn't look any further and decided to stick with Horbett's. After the first experience our feedback was very positive, so why not? The day we called, the person handling our case put us on a waiting list. It sounded serious, but she called us back the next day, and within 30 minutes, a repairman was at our door to take care of the problem. They do a great job with scheduling, so the technicians don't waste their time. The repairman explained everything thoroughly that he was doing, including showing test results etc. during the whole process. Definitely, it was an honest and professional approach to customers. He really checked everything to be sure what the exact issue is with the air conditioning unit. After about an hour, he left. Our house started to feel like a happy place again. That never happened. They insisted my ductwork was too small and came and put bigger ductwork in. It did not solve the problem as the temperature went up outside. The temperature went up in the house. The air-conditioning was running all day long never shut off. After seven years, the air-conditioning blew the oil i'll cover which I was told by a reputable company because it was too small. That's why that happened. I fought with them. They refused to put a bigger one in. I would never hire them ever again. They do what they wanna do and want you to pay for it. Air conditioner lasted 7 years and I had a 5-year warranty and I paid good money for it and I received junk. They need to listen to the customer and give the customer what they're paying for and what they want and stop arguing with the customer
