I saw Mitzee Cafe was nearby so I stopped in and ordered the teriyaki beef and chicken plate. It came with rice, noodles, and veggies. It was well seasoned and very flavorful. The restaurant interior is dated but I think it adds to the charm of the place. I tend to get the combo large in which Co exists a combination of teriyaki chicken and thin shredded teriyaki beef, along with a copious combo of chow mein, a smattering of cabbage and broccoli and white rice. Good food even better prices. The chicken is good, the shrimp are tiny though and the beef varies pending on how much you pay. I know Korean food (Korean wife) and this is the real deal. The best beef is the bulgogoi or the kalbi (bones) but kind of pricey for lunch. Also worth noting is the spicy pork. The chow mein is decent as an option to a bowl with rice. Watch out for the water cups though as mine seemed to have some bubbly residue floating on the top from not being rinsed thoroughly. Hands down the best Korean BBQ joint in Glendale! I love Korean BBQ, but I hate having to drive all the way to Korea town to find some good places. Well thankfully I just found my new favorite place! I was surprised this small little cafe had 4 1/2 stars on Yelp, but I can see now that they definitely deserve it! The restaurant is quite small, but very clean and well kept. The gentleman working behind the counter was super nice, and he was really helpful! I order the Pork Teriyaki plate and my boyfriend order the Bulgogi plate. We both got the large sizes, since we thought the smaller ones would be too small. When our food got to us we were in shock, the plates were HUGE! Our total bill was under $20, so I didn't think the plates would be very big, but let me tell you they were! The pork teriyaki plate I ordered was delicious, tons of pork and incredible homemade teriyaki sauce! The bulgogi plate was just as good, again topped with tons of meat. Haven't been here in years. Still as good as I remembered. We had chicken teriyaki and bulgogi. Both were served piping hot (bulgogi on a sizzling platter) with chow mein and rice. Kinda sweet on the sauces but a dash of their hot sauce balanced it nicely. The Kimchi is more sweet than spicy ( different ) but fresh and tasty. The cook greeted us warmly and the owner was very friendly. Small parking lot but no problem at 1130am. We'll be back again soon!! read more

From a location perspective, this is a small mom & pop place. The kitchen is tiny and the place only seats just north of 15-20 people. The eating area seemed a bit old and a tad dirty. Given that you can see the kitchen, I observed that the cook surfaces looked like they hadn't been scrubbed in quite a while, but the utensils looked clean.
