Well, I have no regrets for chosing Monumental. They are a local company that has a high level of professionalism and yes when you call you actually speak with a person. In comparison to Terminix: 1-they schedule according to your needs while Terminix sends you a text at 9pm TELLING YOU they will be at your house at 8am expecting you to juggle your schedule to meet their needs; 2-if Monumental is running late they call to let you know but with Terminix they just don't show up as happened recently for my annual exclusion service; and 3-when I called area manager it was as if I didn't exist; and 4- Monumental has a direct local phone number but Terminix call center would not give me the local Ashburn office phone number. By the way, my service for total protection including termites, carpenter bees, etc I'm saving money. Nice now having a company they appreciates your business and treats you as a valued customer.

I called yesterday evening after being traumatized by catching my 8th mouse (first one on a sticky tap). I called after hours and left a voicemail message asking for a call back about my issues; my phone rang at 7:50am this morning letting me know that if I was able, the service tech would be at my house between 9 and 10. The tech pulled in at 9:15 and after a quick discussion about what I'd been experiencing, the tech located the entry point in under 10 minutes. There was no sales pitch about everything they could do to my home to keep it mouse free, no talking down to me about what I didn't know about pest control - after a mutual conversation about the best way to handle the issue (fill the entry point with foam), I was told that because he was certain that's where the entry point was, he would fill it for free rather than jumping into a $300-$400 service plan understanding that I could call back if his fix didn't solve my problem. I was astounded and very happy that he would offer that service for free, but I couldn't let him do that - I ended up signing a quarterly contract that not only deals with bugs, but also mice. He fulfilled my first interior and exterior spray before leaving this morning. I couldn't be happier with Sean's knowledge and fantastic customer service and would recommend Loudoun Lawn and Pest to anyone needing their services. Thank you!!

And...pretty much everything creepy crawly that Virginia seems to be home to. So, I called Loudoun Lawn and Pest. I thought if I could go with a small local company verses the big guys with the red diamond, I would. So, Loudoun Pest came out and gave me a quote which had a couple different options. For comparison's sake, I called the guys with the red diamond, and got a quote as well. I don't remember exactly the quotes, but they were pretty similar. After thinking about it and continuing to be thoroughly creeped out by the bugs invading my house, I called Loudoun Lawn and left a message that I was ready to move forward with a service. I got one return message... so I called back and left a message again. And I didn't get a return call. After a couple days, I called again and spoke with someone and gave my address. He said he'd look into the quote and call me back. ....and 1 1/2 weeks later I've never gotten a return call. One message not returned, I can excuse. Maybe it got lost. But a total of 2 calls without a return call especially after speaking with someone? This yanks my review down to 1 star. So, I went with the guys with the red diamond.

I was so pleased with their work that I actually contracted them for some work at my job on small wildlife issues and they knocked that out in no time also. Of the three (all of them seemed knowledgeable), PMSI offered the best combination of service recommendations and price. We found Dennis the sales rep easy to communicate with, and I felt his observations about what was going on in the attic were very sharp. The team that did the work arrived promptly and did the final inspection for holes, installation of a temporary one-way door, and sealing in two visits. We heard some noises above us afterward and called the company. They sent a representative who checked the attic (I came up with him). He found no evidence of new infestation. I believe we were hearing animals on the roof trying to get back in. After the first few days, we no longer heard any noise, so we believe the problem has been solved. I would certainly go back to them for additional work. They did not try to up sell us, which we liked.

We wound up getting three estimates and they also happened to be the lowest cost.
