We arranged to have them put in a new driveway as soon as it was OK to pour concrete this spring…read more We weren't in a hurry until we found out that I was to have surgery soon. We let them know that we needed the driveway done and cured before that date so we could use a wheelchair on it . They were here the next day to take out the old concrete and prepare it for the new. These guys really knew their stuff and they worked long and hard and did an absolutely stellar job. Communication with Michigan Rose Construction was great. They were always available to answer questions and we enjoyed interacting with the men who were doing the work. We would hire them again for any construction project without hesitation.

After literally looking for a couple of years for a contractor to replace T1-11 siding on my house,…read moreI can honestly say I hit the jackpot with Michigan Rose construction. Other contractors didn't want to use T1-11 and many highly suggested vinyl siding or Hardie board. They didn't recognize that customer satisfaction is essential. And I knew what I wanted! Sean, owner of Michigan Rose, came out in a timely manner and communicated with me from start to finish. John and Nathan worked very well together and the job was completed quickly. They did a beautiful job. They cleaned the area around the house making sure there weren't any nails that my dogs might step on.Super guys with a good work ethic and personable. I've had a lot of positive comments from friends and neighbors. Definitely recommend

Communication was on point!…read more I was super happy I didn't need to purchase any new materials - since my backing was pushing in he was able to reuse the existing tile without cracking either. My biggest fear was if mold was behind the tile - he was confident it wasn't. But of course I asked if it was and he did give me a price like I asked so I would be prepared. The work took 2 days due to drying time and he was able to work with my weird schedule as well. Definitely will use company in the future. Side note - the owner came each day to review the workers progress and the work; provided all the update information. Happy home improvement!!!

Clean my situation. They are very bad company, not professional, not carpenters. Do not know…read morecarpentry whatsoever. I would have been better off doing it myself, but I'm not a carpenter. But I would have done the same job. They did so I have to get another carpenter out here, and I've had a few carpenters that I talked to, who know this boy and he's a swindler, buys the cheapest material. He can buy says he pays his men $30. An hour when I told him that he forgot that he told me that lie not to be trusted. The countertop it was never fixed. It's not level at all. And instead of putting the clamps to hold the sink in place on the bottom of the sink, they decided they would do a real c***** c*** job around it. And it looks like c*** looks like I did it with my eyes. Closed.

The phone is answered by an message saying that they are on the lines, busy with a customer or you have reached them after hours. I know none of this is true. This company gets one star for three reasons: (1) I can't do any lower; (2) one saleswoman in the…read moreoffice (not the main one and not the owner's daughter); (3) the site manager. The main salesperson was quick to be rude and snippy. The owner is rude and condescending. Peters advertised a 4-6 month timeframe for a 1400 sf home. It took 10 months, and they offered no concessions. They provided no construction clean up - I found empty pop bottles, styrofoam cups, plastic lids, chunks of concrete that weigh over 20 pounds (one piece of concrete was so large, the worker couldn't lift it, so he broke it up and left it there for me to clean up), nails and other small construction debris all over my property. The site engineer came to my home and approved my landscaper's plans in person, but then the company provided a written letter that revoked the approval with no explanation. I had to personally contact the electrical contractor several times because the ethernet cables I paid to have installed were not completely wired. I think I paid $100 per line for installation ($600 total), but I had no end caps/plugs or face plates, just some blue wire with cut ends sticking out of the holes in the walls and then gathered in the basement near where the cable enters the home. I tried to wire the caps and plugs myself, but ethernet wires are more complicated than telephone wires. Less than one year after my home was built, the concrete driveway, sidewalks, and garage floor failed. It took four months for them to come to my home to assess it, and they never even looked inside the garage. Three months later (7 months after I started complaining), they blamed the concrete damage on the winter and refused to replace it. I had to have a structural engineer and an attorney intervene on my behalf in order for them to agree to replace the outdoor concrete and repair the garage floor - but how can you repair a concrete floor that has damage to more than 20% of the surface? I do love my house, my neighborhood is okay, and the HOA is non-existent (still run by Peters). I'm just glad I purchased and built before the housing market picked back up. Otherwise, I don't think building with this company is worth the hassles I've had to deal with. If you're thinking of using this company, drive through several of their neighborhoods and really look at the new homes their building. Try to talk to the newer home owners if you can. Construction is an expensive and stressful ordeal, and you should work with a company who hires polite, personable people with enough integrity and moral character to stand behind their work.
