Few things I had to consider getting a late night burger. The restaurant closes at 10 and I'm there…read moreat 850. I work in the industry, so I know what closing time means.. anyways I went in to the drive thru and ordered a fried onion burger. It came with a sundae a burger a soda and fries. My fries were crispy, but I got less than what I normally get from another Dairy Queen (Gresham) my burger while it was tasty, had minimal toppings kind of what you would expect when they don't want to open a new container or restock (I've been there as a high schooler) and my dipped cone was half dipped and the other half on the lid, lol I'm still trying to figure out how that happened. While I could have given this 2 stars, I asked for a pup cup, and they gave me a full size sundae with some peanut butter topping in it for my dog. So pretty young crew, but not terrible. It was pretty windy out and the cashier just wanted to make sure I made my payment got my food and she shut the service window immediately as I got my items. I felt a bit rushed, mind you I barely had time to put my drink down and get my pup cup and my sundae without the cashier looking annoyed at me. So I'm just going to believe she was cold from the wind. Would I go back to this Dairy Queen? Definitely not. The tiny one in Gresham next to winco, the workers are kind and they don't seem to hate their job as much as the Troutdale guys.

To tell you the truth, I don't care about calories I want dessert. Of course you can grab a burger and fries, but I want some soft serve. I got the Oreo mint and well it's Oreo mint. Nice big chunk of Oreo and soft serve ice cream at the right temp. Not too hard and it didn't turn into a shake in the end. Overall three stars. You have the occasional people that come in that we'll need a shower and then walk right out. M

That was a mistake on my part, because I should've been eating here the whole time. Inside is nice and clean. Lots of two-tops and a couple fours. Not a huge place but plenty of seating. Ordering is done at the counter and they bring it out to your table. Food was amazing, truly loved my meal. It's the best meal I've had in a good while. Everything is very fresh tasting, my salad was awesome, the empanadas were perfect. Restaurant staff is very friendly as well, and I was able to sample their house soup, which was so amazingly good that I am 100% getting it next time I come here. Which will be very soon.

All of the selections were severely lacking in flavor. And Jesus H. Christ were they dry. I went through 2 large glasses of water to get it all down. Awfully pricey for the "meal" portions, too. You'll get 2 little empanadas and a small cup of soup for $12. I have owned a restaurant, and that is not a very good deal (at all) for the ingredient and labor costs. And the three of us were a bit hungry again only 30 minutes after we ate, so yeah: not returning. More hype than value. That soup, though? That was really good.

This time, we decided to go in--and we're really glad we did. The food was excellent, and the service stood out even more. The person running the restaurant was incredibly friendly, fun to talk to, and genuinely helpful. Honestly, the service alone would bring us back. The menu has everything you'd want from a Chinese restaurant--lots of variety and plenty of options. We decided to try the combination plates (which are listed toward the back of the menu), and that was the right call for us since we like to share family-style without ordering oversized portions. My wife ordered the combo with sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and teriyaki chicken. I went with Szechuan beef, General Tso's chicken, and fried rice. We also added a large order of egg rolls, which were clearly made fresh in-house. Everything tasted great, and the portions were generous--even the combination plates were more than enough. Overall, we had a really good experience and will definitely be coming back.

The decor is virtually unchanged from the previous tenant, giving us that remember them a feeling that it's haunted by the ghost of Sunny Han's. The staff was friendly and we received prompt service. We got broccoli beef, orange chicken, and chicken low mein. Compared to other Chinese-style restaurants, the food was good but not amazing, and was pretty reasonably priced. I likely wouldn't go out of my way to go here but I wouldn't kick them out of bed either.
