I want to make some updates with new things I have recently learned…read more Sometime in the last year, security has been beefed up and now all people entering must have their ids checked and get a wristband even if you don't drink alcohol. When we told them we didn't want any alcohol, we were told we had to have our ids checked and get in the ridiculously long line to do it. I suspect this is because there are vendors offering alcohol samples and they sell alcohol onsite and maybe the venue got in trouble with the OLCC, but that is speculation. Having said that, if you cone in at 4 pm, just wait in the regular line. There is a fast pass option and at 4 pm anyone that bought fast pass tix will get in no matter how earlier the non fast pass users have waiting in line. However, I would say the $15 for a fast pass is a waste of money if you come at 4 pm. My tip for you is to come at 4:30-5pm as the line is t long and moves fast. Save your $15 and buy something from a vendor. Where the fast pass comes in handy is if you show up at 7 pm or later and the line is wrapped well beyond the corner of the building. In fact by 7 pm it wraps and snaps around a couple of times and you will spend 1 to 1.5 hrs in line without a fast pass. Also the night market is overpacked with wall to wall people. Mostly a hangout for 20-30 year olds at that time. Having said that it is ok to bring kids, though I suggest at the earlier time and I love the unique vendors and what they bring. That is the best part of the night market. I also love the night market's awesome decorations and appreciate the food carts out back. But yeah, got around 5 pm so you can really enjoy it. It gets crazy busier as the night goes on. Also parking is painful at 7 pm. I think I had to park at least 1/2 to 3/4 miles away. Much better earlier in the day. The market could really use some timed entry tickets to help alleviate the crazy long lines after 7 pm. Maybe they will improve on this one day.

We got the pad see-ew and pad thai, as well as two Thai iced teas. The pad see-ew had huge noodles and tasted just right. There was a lot more there than I was expecting. The pad thai was also really good and had fresh bean sprouts. Everything had the classic Thai food taste. There were also a huge number of other options on the menu which, judging by how tasty the ones we got were, would also be really good. The outer layer was more crepe than egg, in comparison to other jianbing I've tried before. But I didn't mind it (and actually enjoyed!). The sauce inside is so flavorful and delicious! The classic was a perfect portion for me, but they also have signature and loaded options if you're really hungry. They also welcome personalizations, as they were willing to accomodate my request of no cilantro and zhacai (Chinese pickled mustard plant stem). The mild spice was perfect and really not spicy at all - I would probably try medium next time. While food trucks can be hit or miss sometimes, this one did not disappoint. The wait for the food was a little long, but it was worth the wait because the food was delicious. The prices are also decent for a food truck. I highly recommend trying this!
