These chimney cake delights are Romanian-Hungarian in origin and are spit-baked little funnels covered in butter (and cinnamon-sugar for the sweet ones) and then filled with either savory or sweet toppings. The savory ones are like a conical sandwich. The sweet are filled with ice cream like a cone mostly, with lots of mix-ins included and toppings available. Everything is made to order and the owner is currently solo in this gif, so it's a small wait for your treats but oh is it worth the wait! We had the "It's Always Rainy in Portland" Philly cheesesteak for a savory, and the "Monkey Business" ice cream with Nutella added for a sweet. Both absolutely worth coming back for, and I look forward to trying the two breakfasty ones and more ice cream. So happy to have them in the near-neighborhood and can't wait to go back!
