    Stuffed malasadas

Yes yes yes! Not only was this place delicious, but I give 5 stars based on service alone. I had called ahead to double check hours on the holiday weekend, and the friendly employee allowed me to place an order over the phone after letting me know they were running low on a bunch of things. Boy am I glad I did! I ended up getting two sugar malasadas, two coconut malasadas, a key lime pie and a guava malasada. My absolute star of the order was the butter mochi though. Perfect amount of sweetness and the texture was amazing. No, the malasadas aren't Leonard's on Oahu, but they are pretty darn good. I'm already looking forward to making a trip back!

Friendly staff with yummy malasada! Tried 3 varieties - vanilla, dobash (chocolate), and haupia (coconut). All were delish, need to eat them fresh (doesn't heat well). Creamy insides and soft/fluffy donut. I didn't enjoy the s'mores brownie - the marshmallow was not gooey, it was more of a dehydrated texture. The graham cracker crust wasn't holding together and I just didn't enjoy it. Plus it was $7. I'm glad I went as I've been curious.

The vanilla donut is one of the best I've ever had! The donut is light and airy, not dense and the vanilla cream not overly sweet. Staff is super friendly!

This morning, I made sure to get to the bakery before all of the pastries were gone! As soon as you walk in, you'll realize that everything is very organized, the employees greet you with a smile and a cheerful hello. They are very helpful in explaining the different flavors and varieties. There is merchandise to purchase if you are a fan. I like that! Prices are spot-on for all of the treats I've had. They share a large parking lot with Goodwill and Hope's Bakery in Gresham on Burnside.

Unfortunately while writing this review, they have closed for the rest of July, but expect to open back up in August, with some big changes! Hot new bakery in Gresham with delicious Malasadas style donuts. This is a Very small, 'brick n mortar' hole-in-the-wall shop, but don't let that stop you! No tables inside, but a few outside to enjoy the weather. These malasadas are seriously delicious. I wish there was a tad bit more cream in the middle, but they're wonderful. The strawberry cheesecake is my favorite, along with the chocolate dobash, All are great and must try! Orwaiian = Oregonian + Hawaiian :D This is in a shopping mall back by the goodwill & autozone off of Burnside in Gresham. The employees are super nice and seem to enjoy being there. They have online ordering, but it's super limited and only a short time, Sunday evening 5-7pm for pickup Friday/Saturday. They're hours are only Friday/Saturday 7am-2pm, so If you don't get preorder, stop in their open times and see if available! I went in pretty much right when they open and it was busy!

We've tried so many different flavors of their filled malasadas and all of them were super filled and super fluffy. We've got pretty lucky with them not selling out when we want to stop by, I'm guessing weekends are probably the busiest so most likely they sell out. The owners I'm guessing work the store by themselves and they are super nice. They also do catering orders for their mini malasadas, honestly the perfect size if your not too into sweets. We just got the chocolate filled ones but it was so good!

Unfortunately they were all sold out of their malasadas (good for them!) by the time I went to the bakery. But they did have a few items remaining. Got a haupia roll which consist of macadamia nuts, haupia (coconut) pudding, and shredded coconut rolled up in a lightly sweetened dough. Topped with more haupia and macadamia nuts. It reminded me if a cinnamon roll concept . Lightly sweet however I didn't get much haupia flavor in my opinion. It was more tangy then what I'm used to. Nonetheless it was still delightful. The guava mochi brownie has a nice chewy texture with a delicious layer of guava cream cheese frosting and guava puree. It is absolutely not overly sweet! Would definitely recommend it. The owner Cyndi was really lovely and explained all her baked goods and answered all the questions I had. The store front is an open kitchen concept. Its not too big nor small. Perfect size for quick in and out. I'll definitely come back again. This time either placing an order online or go early in the morning. Currently they're only open on Fridays and Saturdays only.

The staff were super sweet when I came in. They said they can explain the process for ordering and what they had or if I wanted to I could scan their QR code. All their filled options were available except the mango one. That one must be popular, would definitely want to try it next time. I got one of each flavor they had, two unfilled ones and their POG milk cream filled one. I didn't try all of them since I gave the seasonal and filled ones away to some friends. I tried their POG milk cream and the unfilled malasada. It's been a couple years since I last had a malasada and first time trying one in Portland, these are pretty good. A bit denser than ones I've had before but it's pretty fluffy. The unfilled one is generally my favorite type of malasada, it's just covered in sugar. Good size too. The POG milk cream filled one was not too sweet, a little messy to eat but they had a little scoop with it. I liked the candied orange on it too. They also sell other things too like spam musubi, other pastries and mochi crunch. I bought a birthday flavor mochi crunch but you can sample the flavors to see which one you like. The shop is located in a strip mall sorta. There's a good amount of parking around it, the shop has no seating, so everything is take out. Definitely will be coming back again when I'm in Gresham area.

excellently baked wonders. grab a spam musubi a la carte. some of the best spam musibi i have ever had! i like to eat a couple malassadas before a long run. thank you to the team who makes this little bakery very special!

Come here for the malasadas (mango and guava cheesecake are my favorites), stay for the friendly Hawaiian vibes! Staff is made up of a small-but-mighty family who will remember you and greet you with a smile. Pick up a musubi while you're here, and maybe a butter mochi, or whatever they've got on special. You can't go wrong!

Holy malasadas Batman. Cool spot in Gresham. Order in advance or they sell out quick. Their chilled stuff malasada is unique - similar to a malasada ice cream sandwich. Lilikoi was nice. They have home made kakimochi too!

Best bakery in Gresham. Unfortunately they're only open when I'm working but I still love em.

Stopped by this Le Petit Cafe counter inside of Troutdale Station recently…read more Troutdale Station is a food cart mall with about twenty food carts, a huge parking lot, and a central brick and mortar building with counters for drinks and snacks. One of said counters is a mini Le Petit Cafe. I ordered a marionberry macaron, and, wow. It's a serious contender for a new favorite. The cookie was crisp, light, and a bit airy. The dust on the shell was sour, while the creme filling was sweet. This gave eating it a similar experience to eating a freshly picked blackberry. Certainly one of the most creative macarons I've ever tried. It was a whole experience. I guess it was my lucky day, because as I was ordering, the Barista asked me if I wanted a complimentary coffee drink that had been made by accident. I don't even remember what it was called, but it was amazing. I think it was some kind of vanilla latte. I came back on a second occasion and ordered a 12 ounce caramel latte with a pistachio macaron. I loved the latte, but this time, the macaron was bad. It was so stale that I considered asking for a different flavor. Overall I loved the coffee but found everything to be a little high priced based on the quality. I would still stop by here for a coffee in the future because Troutdale Station has free wifi for customers, and this is the best coffee spot there that I know of.
