I slept on it for a day and decided I'm going to post this because my experience here was ridiculous. We went here around 7 PM on June 5 to get a round of drinks while waiting for a reservation at another place. After our first round I closed my tab. My fiancee wanted a second drink so she used her credit card to get herself one. On the menu is a buy a round of drinks for the staff item. My fiancee decided to do this with her drink order. The bartender seemed fairly appreciative and told us they had a promo where you get a free shot if you have been vaccinated for COVID. We all said we were vaccinated (which is true) so he gave all of us a "I got vaccinated" sticker and went to pour us shots. This is where things got really bad. Another employee barged out of the back and started grilling our bartender on if he checked our vaccine cards (I think our bartender was fairly new) . He then demanded to see our vaccine cards. I didn't have mine on me so he basically yelled at me that I wouldn't get a free shot and then reached over the bar and ripped the vaccine sticker off my chest without asking me if he could touch me. I got angry and we started yelling at eachother. The manager came over and was extremely apologetic and refunded my fiancee's money but they literally were being yelled at the entire time by the employee for "not taking their side". To the restaurant. You have a crazy lunatic working at your establishment who put his hands on a customer without consent. I can understand requiring vaccine cards for your promo but the first bartender 1. Brought it up. We didn't know about it. 2. Gave us the stickers and was pouring shots without vaccine cards. I don't care about a free shot of well liquor. I care that an employee here felt it was okay to berate a customer for a mistake the staff made and also thought it was okay to rip a sticker off my chest without my consent. read more

Vintage Adult Arcade! I love coming here and playing the old school games upstairs. Have a drink and play some pinball to relax from a stressful day at work. Located downtown, its nice and trendy. I have not had their food yet. Honestly, I'm a bit nervous to try it. I've heard mixed reviews about the food and I don't want to waste my money. But the drinks are good and you are sure to have a good time. It can get very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights so be mindful of that. read more

Tried a couple of apps that were pretty good, not mind blowing. Also had a Hello Kitty drink that was cute but kind of meh in taste. Taking a few stars off because I was excited to check out the arcade but all the games are upstairs and there is no elevator. Wish they would have done half restaurant/half arcade on each floor so wheelchair users could enjoy the full experience too. Also there is an ADA bathroom but it was closed off because they had just painted it. That kind of maintenance work should be done in off hours. read more

This place has good vibes, creative drinks, and fun games. The bartenders were friendly, engaging, and fast, even though it was a busy Saturday night. I had the Shiso Crazy- a spicy and sweet tequila drink which was amazing, and a grapefruit and vodka drink which I forget the name of, which was delicious as well. TERRIBLE. Literally wasted 7 dollars here today for parking. No one came to our table to even give us a glass of water. Literally kept walking by us for 20 mins and did not acknowledge us at all. Loving the vibe! What city doesn't need an Japanese arcade bar?! 2 bars-1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Good cocktails and some craft beer. Lots of different arcade games you can relive your younger years. If you haven't stopped in you should. No straws...they will give a metal straw but will also charge you 1.50. You do get to keep the straw though. They do not have cocktail straws, only the normal size metal straws. read more

A group and I attended the "XOXO Duo acoustic night" on February 26th. The servers stressed multiple times that they were short handed and they were just getting back on their feet reopening after COVID restrictions. Totally understandable. It took about 30-40 minutes for our drinks to come...maybe not so understandable. We also ordered food too which came about an hour after we ordered. The egg rolls were good but the shisito peppers were a bit too salty. The reason for the 2 star review is, as we got the check and left our cash on the table (big tip included!) one of the servers hung their head over the railing as we were going downstairs and yelled "excuse me! Did you pay your bill!" Who does this! We were all offended that they thought we would have dined and dashed. Never once have I've been stopped and asked this on my way out of a restaurant. Definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. Wish I could take the big tip back! read more

I can't get over how big the bao buns are - it's awesome. Bao buns are usually 2-bite size, and tough to find good ones around Buffalo, but Misutas' are filling and so good because they're generous with the spicy mayo too ;) I've tried their gyoza and ramen too, which are good. And of course the place is super entertaining with games and lots to drink, so you can't go wrong. read more

Sat at the bar most recently and bartender was good but our food took 50 minutes to come out after ordering. The place was not busy so the wait was extreme. Food was good but we missed our show at Shea's because we had to wait so long for our food. Also, wait staff were doing shots (and not practicing good social distancing) right next to us. Previous times we ate here (before COVID) were good and the arcade was a lot of fun. Don't think we'll be back again though. read more

Don't get the ramen burrito. It tasted super weird. Like super. There needs to be some type of protein besides the one soft boiled egg and the few black beans. By the way who's idea was it to put black beans in a ramen burrito. I know you wanted fusion but this ain't it chief. The flavors were indescribable. If you were to put something like pork belly or even chicken it would taste much better. But it mainly consisted on noodles, beans, and the one egg. Also the ramen noodles weren't too authentic, but authenticity is not what you come here for. One thing I did have that was good was the takoyaki. I've always wanted to try it and when I did I was pleased that this was my first one. I do hope to find more takoyaki in Buffalo to compare it to. I give the takoyaki a 9/10 and the burrito a 1/10. read more

Had a work party here this afternoon noon. Didn't eat but the kitchen smelled amazing downstairs. Was also recommended to try the ramen. Had a few adult beverages. The popular drink was a "hello kitty". It was well balanced and delicious. Atmosphere was quaint. Not many seats but enough room to move around. Everyone lovved playing the old video games and tryiing to have the highest score on the skee ball machine. Would like to come back to eat. read more

This is our first time being here and it at first seems small but as we got in we already can hear noise from the upstairs and then the dining area is so nice and calm setting, the pink stair were a sign especially is being big hello kitty fans! We got Drinks to start, the "Yamu Yamu" , "Frojito" , and Pinot Grigio. They were amazing and looked beautiful. For food we started off with the "Mini Monstro Chow Platter" for an app and I couldn't have asked for a better app it was full of flavor and looked Devine and tasted just as well ate it right away and didn't get a chance to take a photo! For entree we got "Sweet Chill Shrimp Tempura" , "Ramen Spicy Shrimp Ramen (one with tempura and without) ". They were just as good and full of heat and flavor. Soft opening currently. Went on Friday to check it out. It's a fun atmosphere, and it's nice to have new places opening on Main St. There are two bars ... upper and lower. The staff is friendly. The games are fun, but I was disappointed that they did not have Centipede, which was my favorite 80's game. I had a Rose Slushie, which was very tasty and refreshing (with the best maraschino cherry I have ever had) ... but pricey. There is an adequate selection of beverages. It's an adult bar, offering a nostalgia whirl - but it would also appeal to an underage crowd. I wasn't sure if there were food offerings. The service took a very very long time, our waiter was very touchy???? I ordered the calamari fried rice, the calamari was pretty good but the fried rice was hella bland. My girlfriend ordered the Szechuan Peanut Crunch salad. She absolutely adores insanely spicy food but the spice on the salad was way too much and she noted the flavor was gross. Came here with my friends for my 21st birthday, I had to put down a $100 deposit before hand and the nice man on the phone was super helpful and told me it would be subtracted directly from the bill. The atmosphere was wonderful the service was not very good. Could barely hear our server he wasn't very attentive to us and messed up a few orders, im a server myself so I get it that happens no big deal. But once we got the bill we were not informed that gratuity was already added so we paid an extra 20% on top of the already added gratuity, plus the deposit i put down was not subtracted from the bill.
