We found this in a local magazine spread stating local eats and we are glad we checked it out! We went on a Thursday afternoon and were promptly seated. We ordered beers, waters and cokes. All came out quickly. Our server Skyler was very attentive and friendly. We ordered Wookie nachos for our app and there was nothing left as we devoured it! Next we had a Buddha bowl with tofu, chicken tenders with fries, black and bleu burger, kids grilled cheese and another tasty burger. All were served fresh and quickly. We loved it all. We were in town for 3 days and ate here twice. We ordered fried deviled eggs & pork rind basket appetizers/ both were excellent but the pork rinds especially good- they came out sizzling! Entrees we tried: burgers, chicken tenders, fried bologna, BLT- all was good but the burgers definitely won out. They were cooked perfectly and were extremely tasty. Lots of local beer on tap and a full bar. Live music on a Friday night with really fun during dinner. It's a small place but we could still enjoy conversations along with the music. There is limited outdoor seating in the parking lot as well. Servers are attentive and busy. Our server the first night was extremely helpful with beer and menu suggestions but with all staff, our glasses were never empty and plates cleared quickly. Really cool atmosphere and the food was pretty solid, but we went on a Friday night and it was very crowded and they seemed a little overwhelmed. It took us a while to get served once we were sat down. They were out of straws, out of the beer I ordered, and didn't have all of the ingredients on the burger I ordered or the backup to that one. Our server was very kind, attentive, and apologetic but it was a small inconvenience. As for the food, it was enjoyable and flavorful. I had the steakhouse burger because I knew they weren't out of A1 because there was a bottle on the table. It was cooked well and the fried onion provided a nice crunch. My wife had the fish and chips which was good and crispy but one piece was a little overcooked. The food and atmosphere here are easily four maybe five stars, but unfortunately we just didn't have a four star experience due to some issues that they probably couldn't control. Another thing I thought was weird was that they make you wait outside, but when we asked if we could just sit outside to avoid the wait, we were told it was too hot to have the servers work outside. We started with the wings and the fried buffalo cauliflower, and let me tell you if I had to pick between the two I would have picked the cauliflower. They were SO good. The wings were perfectly good as well, but the fried cauliflower was mind blowing. Even my husband - whom typically won't touch a vegetable unless it's in a smoothie or sauce - liked them. I had the graham cracker stout to drink which was also delicious. For the main meal I had the fire on the mountain burger with fries - delicious. Misty Mountain Hops is my FAVORITE! In my opinion they have the best vibe in Blue Ridge. Not to mention yummy drinks/food, good service and live music on the weekends. You may have to wait but it's worth it. There are so many delicious drinks I don't have a favorite. Check the specials or tell them what you like and I guarantee you'll get something delicious. As far as food I have so many favorites! For apps, the chili lime pork rinds with queso are a game changer . I also love the Buffalo cauliflower "wings" along with the Wookie nachos with chicken. For burgers my favorite are the Bleu on Black and Up in Smoke. The Philly and Dixie Chicken Sandwich Buffalo style are also delicious. You can't go wrong no matter what you order! read more

Food here is honestly delicious. The location is a bit small but nothing comes out of the kitchen without being hand orchestrated. Beer selection is just wide enough to apease the craft crowd. The place is family friendly it does have a bar and the food there was good. The prices were very reasonable and the place was cozy. We ordered the nachos and two kinds of wings as well as a philly cheese streak sandwich. The nachos were good but might taste better if you get chicken or beef on top. This is a shout out to the restaurant and our waitress, Pam (I hope I remember her name correctly, if not it's my memory, not her service). We came to the area to celebrate our anniversary and on the way to the cabin we stopped to grab lunch. Pam was right there to give suggestions and treated us as though we had been there as a regular. Awesome restaurant off the main drag in Blue Ridge. The Stella and Blue Burger was delicious and my husband enjoyed the Reuben. Lots of beers and mixed drink options. When you pull into the parking lot, the out is also the in, so if there's nowhere to park in this small area you do a 180! You will be waiting outside until the hostess comes to get your name and she'll tell you the approximate wait time. We lucked out and got a table for two within 10 minutes. Inside is a very rock n roll eclectic vibe, with a eager staff and a bartender who plays tambourine. Now who can beat that? The menu is limited to what they do expertly which I absolutely love. We ordered the eggs with Jamaican Jam and pork rinds with all the fixing to start. Let me tell you about these pork rinds, coming from a girl who usually would never be at them, they are undescribably delicious. Coated in beer cheese with chunks of fresh crisp bacon and dipped in ranch. OMG. I'm a fan. The eggs were absolutely delicious as well, the jam is the bees knees. Then came the burgers, and talk about juicy, stacked high beefy goodness, it just doesn't get better than this burger. Patty is tender and bun was just right, I actually only ate half the bun because I would be too full but it was delicious. Devoured burgers, not just ate, consumed ravenously. We also had beer and local cider, and loved all of them. You must eat here, if you don't, you'll be missing one of the best you'll ever eat.
